✔️ Home Care (In & Externally ) ✔️ Regular Treatments ✔️ Consistency A Chemical Peel is a controlled chemical burn to the skin. Period. There is no sugar coating that 🤷🏾‍♀️ With that being said EVERYTHING you breathe, see, ingest or touch is made up of chemicals. Guess what... Water is also substance composed of chemical elements. The notion that “chemical” 🧪 is some sort of dirty word or something to be feared is ridiculous 🙄 but also an uneducated conclusion. When a client’s (especially of ethic backgrounds) skin has been preprepped properly the likelihood of adverse reactions is lessened. Not every client is indicated for peels. The goal is to not only get rid of pigment but keep it away. Which is why there have ALWAYS been alternative ways to win the race to clearer skin. My name is Rochelle ✨ I am a healthcare professional & owner of Addicted to Skin. I’m a Clinical Aesthetician & Laser Tech with 10 years of Aesthetic experience in a medical setting, to this date I have seen thousands of faces!! Over the years I’ve only worked for Physician’s (of different specialties) providing corrective skincare. Addicted to Skin the Beauty & Aesthetic Studio was first established in 2011 first as a makeup/skincare blog and & providing makeup services “on the side” I love all things beauty but my love for skin really took over and became my only focus as I started independently attending classes and trade shows aside from office requirements. 2015/16 we became mobile traveling between Atlanta, Tampa and Miami. Early 2018 Addicted to Skin’s location on St. Pete Beach opened and in the Fall of 2020 our new Central St. Pete location opened & it’s been a ride every since. I have personally had a ton of successes client and business wise but I have also had A LOT of failures! _______________ Our facility is clean & operates under OSHA standards. If we’re offering services it’s because firstly I believe in it, we’ve been trained, have experience and have the proper credentials to do so... not because it’s trendy or a potential money maker. _______________ Someone asked me if I didn’t get paid or if money weren’t a necessity in life, would I still do “patient care” being an Aesthetician in my eyes is a form of patient care, however in my second life I’m also in the healthcare industry & the truth is YES! Honestly, because I have always had “bedside manner” and a people pleaser attitude even as a little girl. My genuine interest for people has never changed, I want to make them feel good, look good not just physically but align them mentally and I believe the resonates in my work and character across the board.
