They killed off Junpei because if Gojo heard ItaJun going "Yuuji!!!" "Junpei!!!" all the time and that Yuuji reached on time and saved Junpei from becoming a curse user by preventing him from mass-killing a bunch of people, he would fucking lose it. That is daily psychological torture for Gojo. The distinctive bangs and dead eyes and emo vibes are NOT helping.
Gojo "I'm so happy for you but that should've been me" Satoru.

so sad that people got sick of "doomed by the narrative" and decided it was cringe, because fate and free will in fiction has been a major interest of mine for like eight years, but alas so it goes. anything that gets popular is destined to become reviled in short order. it's like some sort of unstoppable, uncompassionate, avaricious cycle of rising and falling and rising again. like whatever happens, no matter the intentions, it will always result in the same tragic ending. you could almost say it was d

Ran into an issue with my vampire smut turned murder mystery esque multi chaptered fic and I need feedback 🙃
I wanted to make Yuuji a reporter but I'm not convinced the golden retriever himbo would ask the hard hitting questions the way I had planned out. No hate, I love him so much, I just don't want it to become a case of "he wouldn't fucking say that" or having him be so OOC that it defeats the whole purpose.
Thoughts?

it literally drives me insane that so many companies refuse to send rejection emails like it’s disgraceful tbh. you put so much time and effort into putting together an application and they can’t even be bothered tell you via some measly automated message that you didn’t get the job. you’re expected to just infer

Not to entirely hijack your post but holy shit yes, this is exactly the problem I've had for the last two years.
Rant under the cut
Ignoring my qualifications (college degree, job experience etc) and my experience (over ten years of customer service alone, and several years as a technical support supervisor), I have not been able to get even an entry level retail or fast food job.
I applied everywhere (over 500 applications in 2 years) and have either never heard back from most of these places or received a batch rejection letter that couldn't even be bothered to use my name, months after application. On one memorable occasion, I received a batch of rejection letters from a chain restaurant that I had applied to every location in my city. It wasn't even for a management position, it was literally entry level food prep. Another time I was rejected from a technical support job that was basically word for word my former job description. I was rejected because I didn't have the right qualifications. For a job that I had already done before.
All of this has been incredibly frustrating and demoralizing but the worst part is all the people who haven't had to hunt for a job in the past 5 years giving me unsolicited (and oftentimes no longer useful) advice on what I'm doing wrong. I'll admit, I didn't believe that the employment landscape had changed so drastically since the last time I needed to look for a job but it honestly has So. Much. (there are many reasons for this I won't get into right now).
But my parents and my aunt - all boomers who famously have not had to job hunt in DECADES (in fact, my dad has been retired almost as long as I have been working) LOVE telling me what I'm doing wrong with job hunting, including but not limited to:
I need to hand in a physical resume to the owner of the company, not waste my time applying online
I have to make a good impression with the owner and really show them my dedication by calling them and thanking them for the opportunity after the interview
I should apply to small, local start up companies, because even though the pay won't be great, it'll be like family
I just need to redo my resume, that's why I'm not getting any callbacks
I am over-qualified for most of the jobs I apply for, and I still don't get any feedback if i receive a response at all.
Of the over 500 applications I've submitted in 2 years, I've received less than a dozen interviews and one of them was very clearly a scam. I've been made to give PowerPoint presentations, complete "test" assignments, create product mock ups and hours of interviews. With no feedback or actual rejection. The company that made me create and give them a PowerPoint presentation had me in for three hour long interviews and then never contacted me again.
The amount of my time I have spent looking for jobs amounts to full time work. The only reason I'm working right now is the temp job I took last summer out of desperation called me back for this season. I really didn't want to go back to a job that is only for a few months but my other option was unemployment so. A paycheck is a paycheck.
It just really fucking sucks putting all that work in for what feels like no reason. Like you're just shooting resumes into the void.
No longer feeling bad about being unemployed when I got an email saying that a job application I sent in December was READ. Not even considered. Just... looked at. Employers can burn in hell
