OMG MY TWO FANDOMS MEET. YOU DID SUCH A GOOD JOB!!!
The Ghost
No, I promise I'm not obsessed with Star Wars builds, I don't know what you're talking about. That being said, the latest is "The Ghost" from Star Wars Rebels.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some parts are tedious, but it is a pretty easy build.
I don't know if anyone notices, but there is no Phantom docked at the back. Yes, well, it has separate tutorials, so here's "The Phantom II"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Super easy, and pretty quick.

He is THE vent goblin your honor
Okay, I stumbled into some Star Wars Rebels fanfiction (despite not having watched the show), and I've GOT TO KNOW:
Is Ceiling Vent Ezra Bridger a real, canon thing or do we have another Ceiling Vent Clint Barton on our hands (God bless him)?
And if so, why does fandom have such a thing with ceiling vents? Not complaining, just curious.

If Ezra was a Master at Luke's Jedi academy, a conversation on attachment.
Ezra's tone turned firm. "No, Luke. You're not separating these kids from their families. I don't care what the texts say."
Luke, with a weight of experience, replied, "You've met my father Ezra, you know what attachment does to us who are burdened with abilty, what it can turn us into."
Ezra closed his eyes, a dark Cape billowing in his mind, exhaling slowly, "I—maybe, but from my experience, the love of our familes only made me and Kanan stronger."
Luke looked sympathetically at Ezra "But in the end, you had to let them go, didn't you?"
Ezra flicked his eyes away.
Luke flexed his robotic hand " I learnt the hard way when I didn't heed Master Yodas advice on letting go" he continued "Plus, if I didn't let go of my life on Tatooine, I'd have never done anything."
Ezra interjected "Aren't you tired of letting go? Your aunt and uncle raised you, yet you never talk about them."
Luke's eyes widened, how'd ezra know about them?
"I can't focus on something that cannot be changed, that'd result only in pain, That is what I learnt and what the younglings need to understand. Why'd you even bring that up anyway?"
Ezra's smirked "Someone told me to take care of the quote 'softer twin' "
Ah Leia
Luke raised an eyebrow. "Worried she'd strangle you like the other Jabba?"
Ezra snorted, he paused for a moment and locked his earnest blue eyes with Luke's.
"Listen, I was only able to sacrifice myself because I love and am attached to my family and my planet, knowing that I would be protecting them."
Ezras face lightened.
"Also, because I knew my family wouldn't let go of me either; they'd move galaxies to save this Lothrat punk."
Luke felt the force become warmer at the strength of earnestness emanating of the man.
"They make me better, the younglings family makes them better, Hera keeps Jacen from blowing up your temple, Din plays with grogu when he gets sad, your karking family makes you better, Leia makes you actually interact with people, Han-"
Luke puts his hand over ezras mouth, which does not deter the mans jabbering.
Luke rolls his eyes and finally relents, sighing "Fine, Master Bridger, we'll listen to your oh so great wisdom over the ones of mellenias of jedi"
Luke's light blue eyes meet Ezra's deep blue gaze, He's looking at the blonde with elation. "Atleast temporarily... I just hope I'm doing the right thing"
Ezra licks Luke's hand, Luke immediately recoils, wiping it on Ezras robe looking aghast.
Ezra smirks before getting more serious. "Look, Luke, these kids will be stronger Jedi for having healthy relationships in their lives, and more importantly, they'll be better people."

The further I get into rebels, the more I realize that Hera Syndulla is only the voice of reason among the Ghost crew by default.
Like, this woman is not normal. She could have anybody in the galaxy and she went for a wanted criminal with superpowers. She ran away from her family's palatial mansion to go live in a camper with said criminal boyfriend. Her job experience includes "getaway driver" and that's it. Some punk tried to steal from her and she immediately went "where are the adoption papers, I'm ready to sign". The only reason Hera seems normal is because her family consists of a kleptomaniac, a pyromaniac, a man who spent the first fifteen years of his life in a monastery and the next fifteen years of his life getting drunk, a mass murderer trapped in the body of a trash bin, and a guy who probably lists aggravated assault as a hobby on his Grindr profile.
Hera is the most reasonable member of the Ghost crew. Which is kind of like being the tallest Ewok.

It would've been SO NICE if we'd had just a normal Rebels season 5 in animation and Ahsoka wasn't even in it and they explained that Ahsoka's presence in the epilogue had just been to tell Sabine about a new lead or something, but she wasn't joining them on the search because she had other things to do or whatever.
Just a normal Rebels season 5, giving Sabine time to shine, bringing Hera, Jacen, and Zeb along for the ride and maybe introducing a couple new characters for the Ghost crew. Maybe they take on a character from the new galaxy or something as a guide who becomes a friend/member of the crew.
Oh the things that could've been.

Top five reasons you (yes, you) should watch Star Wars Rebels:
Immaculate found family energy—these characters have a home together. They know each other’s strengths and weaknesses and support one another in achieving the things that are important to them, and their relationships drive the show in a way that feels incredibly genuine.
Character depth—Rebels genuinely has some of the best character development of any Star Wars property I’m familiar with. Each of the characters gets a chance to grow in some way, whether that’s gaining perspective of the world or understanding something new about themselves. They are well fleshed out and consistent. It’s also such a cool look into both what it meant to be a Jedi in the rebellion era, between iterations of the Jedi order, and what it meant to not be a Jedi but still fight in the rebellion. I love that Rebels tells both stories and doesn’t favor one or the other.
Quality Lore—Rebels has a clear trajectory: you get to watch the cast progress from being one of many isolated rebel cells to helping create a unified rebellion. And yet, the show never loses sight of its roots, and the heart of the show stays grounded on Lothal, the planet where it began, and Lothal becomes something of a symbol throughout the show. Also, in terms of broader Star Wars lore, SO many important items or people have their stories told—you get lots of nods to or arcs centered around the darksaber, the mortis gods, the rebellion, darth maul, and more, all of which enrich the experience of watching a lot of the other movies and shows.
Cool visuals—I know a lot of people are turned off by the animation style, especially the saber size, and wish it was like Clone Wars. But Rebels honestly has really beautiful art, and you see a variety of cool planets along the way (Lothal is especially pretty imo).
Compelling villains—This is big for me personally, because to me, Star Wars thrives most when it has a good villain—think Vader and Palpatine; think Maul and Pong Krell. And Rebels has multiple villains who are believably threatening and also work incredibly well in terms of adding to the plot.
Give Rebels a chance; it’s truly incredible, and also just so genuinely fun. Whether you’re a fan of TCW who was thrown by the animation or a fan who just watched Ahsoka and wants to learn more about these characters or a fan who hasn’t dipped into the tv shows, you should ABSOLUTELY watch it. I promise you get used to the sabers being animated differently, and that the characters continue to gain depth throughout.
