It’s been a while since my last fic rec post… time for a new one! Plus, I said recently that I’d make a new one, so here it is ;ldfskjgl;skdfj This is *mostly* older stuff because I’ve forgotten how to read, but every single one of these fics is a treasure. I should also point out that this is non-exhaustive, and I’m sure the minute I post it, I’m going to panic because I’ve forgotten a good one. But I tried to be pretty thorough!

Yall I was just thinking. Volume 1 Blake had some goofy moments. Volume 8 Blake had some goofy moments. The writers admitted they didn’t know how to write Blake at first. But what if they are using that goofiness i the beginning to help define her now. Like. Back in volume 1, her goofy side showed a bit as a sign that she was happy with team Rwby. And now, because she is growing and moving on, it’s showing more because she is improving.

This popped into my head because I’m going through something so similar that it just makes sense that her old goofiness was from her being happy then and her true self showing. And her being happy now is also showing her true goofy nature.
