Just a little theory about the Fifth season of Teen Titans 2003

It was made very clear, right off the bat, during the fifth season of Teen Titans 2003, that the main antagonists, the Brotherhood of Evil, were actively forming alliances with a good number of the Titans’ past enemies. However, as I’m sure many other people have already taken notice of and pointed out; there were still a few other bad guys who were not among the Brotherhood’s roster of allies. The most notable of those who were not present but could have been were;

Slade -

Blackfire -

and

Brother Blood -

(I think that there are more than enough good reasons for why Trigon wasn’t going to be there)

This does seem like the kind of thing that certain fans would find rather peculiar, because, if the Brotherhood’s main objective was to take down the Titans through allying themselves with members of their rogues gallery, why wouldn’t they recruit the three that have had the highest success record in dealing with them and likely have a significant amount of useful inside knowledge about them?

Now I might not be able speak for why Blackfire was not invited, but I do have a theory for why neither Slade nor Brother Blood were there either.

You see; while Slade and Brother Blood would have both been very powerful allies, the fact of the matter was that they were both far too powerful, far too capable and far too close to being on the same level as the Brotherhood themselves. To put it plainly; the Brain probably knew that these two mastermind arch-villains were both far too beyond his ability to control and were the most likely to try and double cross him, and had the best chance of success (in fact, I even read somewhere that if Season Five had been given more episodes, there would have been a storyline about how Slade joins and then takes over the Brotherhood of Evil).

I guess, when alls said and done, these three bad guy factions are more likely to engage each other in a fearsome ‘gang war’ than they are to work together.

Anybody have any thoughts that they’d like to share?

Feral ThunderCats 2011 2/2

After catching sight of a couple of Thundercats fan art pictures with this exact same concept in mind, I decided to give it a try for myself and thus, here we have one out of two pictures that I made, depicting the ThunderCats (The 2011 versions) in the far more…feral forms of their respective animal namesakes. This picture depicts the main Thundercat characters from the end of episode 19 to the season one finale

Four Xiaolin Dragon Warriors 2/2

Just like the title says this one among two sketches that I drew of each of the Xiaolin Warriors; Omi, Clay Bailey, Kimiko Tohomiko and Raimundo Pedrosa (in exactly that order) in their elemental dragon forms, a level of Xiaolin power that enables them to actually become dragon personifications of their respective Xiaolin elements. It’s really hard for me to put this concept into words that make sense to even me. But in any event though, i really did try to give them each a unique design that both matched their respective elements and yet still resembled their original human forms. For example; Omi’s dragon form was given some rather fish-like attributes and Clay still manages to keep his signature cowboy hat as a dragon.

What if Tarzan was rescued by his own jungle boy?

Whelp, here we are with yet another one of those weird what if’s that I felt like doing some strange reason 

This time around; it a ‘what if’ regarding two adaptations of the iconic Tarzan character. What if the Disney version of Tarzan was captured and then put in a situation designed to be the end of him if he were to try and escape on his own? Like this situation from the 1960s tv show about Tarzan, starring actor Ron Ely; where Tarzan has had his hands bound him and has been placed upon of some rather loose barrels with noose tied around his neck. Which means that if Tarzan tries to escape this on his own, there’s a pretty good risk of him knocking over the barrels, which would result in him getting hanged right on the spot. In the end; he was only able to escape from this predicament because of the timely arrival and aide of his young ward, Jai (Manuel Padilla Jr.). So what if Disney’s Tarzan was in a similar situation and he required the timely rescue of, say, his one-time protege, Ian, from the episode “Tarzan and the Protege”, to make it out alive?

What if Tarzan met a fate like King Kong?

Just another what if scenario that I felt like doing some strange reason 

In this case; it’s a question of what if Disney’s Tarzan was to have an end like King Kong? 

Let me set up the basis for a scenario; both Tarzan and Jane, somehow, find themselves trapped in a realm inhabited by small human-like entities (a la the Lilliputians of “Gulliver’s Travels”). But while I imagine that Jane would eventually become the exact same size as these strange creatures, through one method or another, her husband would remain in his natural size, which would make him a giant when compared to the much smaller beings of this strange realm. And to make matters worse; these diminutive people are actually just as advanced as any civilization found back in the kind of world that Jane originally grew up in. Which means they have things like cars, planes, boats, bombs and even guns, which means that Tarzan could have a lot more done to him than just getting tied to ground. Like say; have a swarm of biplanes come right at him with guns at the ready, once he was trapped on the top of a tall skyscraper?

What if Trigon fought a war with Diagon?

Just another one of those what if’s that I felt like doing some odd reason 

In this case; it’s a question of what if the demon, Trigon the terrible, his army of fire demons and a Mark of Skath empowered Slade as his general, all went to war, at Trigon’s behest, against the ancient, inter-dimensional monstrosity, Diagon, his legions of terror, the Lucubra, and an enslaved and empowered Vilgax acting as Diagon’s general? Pretty sure that this is a scenario that that’s been thought and talked about before, so here is simply my take on it

What if Slade had a moment like this?

To be honest, it just felt like Slade should’ve been given more of a chance to appear as a powerful leader and supreme commander of his own army, which he was already confirmed to have, by the by. Plus he was a United States Army soldier himself once, so it’s not like he didn’t know how a successful military should operate. 

So, I ask you, what if Slade had a moment like this from “Legion of Superheroes”, where he is addressing his robotic army and non-robotic followers just before he deploys them to begin an invasion or something, not unlike a totalitarian dictator would?

What if the Teen Titans did something like this?

To put it plainly; I am simply asking what it would be like if the original five Teen Titans had a similar scene in a similar setting with very similar aesthetics, doing something very similar to what was going in this particular moment from the “Justice League Unlimited” episode “Doomsday Sanction”?

What if Damian Wayne had a scene of working out?

Pretty much just one among a handful of other ‘what-if’s that I felt the need to make for some strange reason. To put it simply; I’m just curious about what it would have been like if Damian Wayne from the DCAMU had a moment where he was busy lifting weights or something, like Joseph Gribble here from “King of the Hill”? He does strike me as the type who would believe that daily exercise is important, especially given his background and current lifestyle, no matter how too intense or hard that might seem for someone of his age.

What if Mowgli received an injury like Tarzan

Just another one of those random memes that I felt like making for some strange reason. It’s just occurred to me a few times that, in both of the animated Disney Jungle Book Movies, Shere Khan never manages to even touch Mowgli when he is attacking him. So, what if Shere Khan was able to get at least a single blow in on the Man-cub, like the one that Disney’s Tarzan was given by Sabor when they both fought that one time? Now, Mowgli would have, of course, evaded the attack just in time to make it so that it left little more than just a few mere scratches, but still

What if Aang and Combustion Man had a fight like this?

Pretty much just one among a handful of other ‘what-if’s that I felt the need to make for some strange reason. To put it simply; I’m just curious about how people would feel if one of Aang’s few battles with Combustion Man went a bit more like when Superman first fought against Doomsday in the JLU episode “Doomsday Sanction”. By which I mean if the battle between the two had originally started out in Combustion Man’s favor, as he is able put Aang on the ropes for a little while before something comes along to help Aang either win the day at the very most or just get away from him with his life at the very least.

What if Carlos and DA had a moment like this?

Just another one of those random memes that I felt like making for some strange reason. It’s just that it’s become apparent to me over the years that the two Magic School Bus characters, Carlos and Dorothy Ann, are both quite easy to ship together. Then one day, this very idea just happened to crossed my mind; what if both Carlos and DA had a scene like this one from the Fairy Odd Parents episode “Beach Bummed”, where the two of them are at the beach and Carlos is using the apparent muscles that he had in that series (as shown in the episodes “Goes to Mussel Beach” and “Gains Weight”) to toss Dorothy Ann up into the air, much to her great joy and entertainment?
