Quick update that fan art or maybe all art, don't really know yet, will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future.

If you follow me because you just like my art thank you I love you guys, this will not effect you at all. But if your here to see a specific fandom don't freak, there's just probably about to be art you don't really care for. I'm not done with fan art, I'm not leaving any fandoms, and the fan art will come back eventually I promise. Just sit tight, some not great life stuff just happened and its put me in a weird mood.

So my grandmother passed away rather suddenly, just ripping that band aid off right away. We weren't super close anymore, but you know it's messed me up a little bit. What's messing me up even more is her house is where I spent at least 60% of my childhood. It is where my late grandfather and myself spent hours doodling away at the kitchen table, and my love for art flourished. So much of my current identity is built off of memories I have with them in that house. Now they're gone and I get to go through that house and help prepare it for an estate sale.

Its all really sudden. Like really REALLY sudden.

Shits about to be very chaotic for an unkown amount of time, hence the ominous "foreseeable future," and I don't know how long this funk will last. I'm not horribly devastated right now, cause again we really weren't that close anymore, there's just this looming numbness.

Usually in times like this I dip to work on what I've referred to as "personal stuff" but thats always just been code for "I'm in the mood to draw my oc's" and right now I plan on coping by drawing my comfort children. And given that I don't know when I'll go back to fan art I may just say "fuck it" and finally post some stuff of them because I like sharing my stuff. I couldn't give a crap about how many followers or likes I get, I just like sharing. I like scrolling through my own page and seeing how far I've come, how much more comfortable I've gotten talking to complete strangers online. Am I good at this social media thing? Hell no, but as a neurodivergent person who's always struggled with crippling social anxiety, the fact that I'm even making this post makes me beyond proud of myself.

So I don't want to or plan to just disapear completley. If I haven't posted in a while then this is why, I will be back. If your seeing semi cringey oc's and were wondering why then this is why. Life's definitely a wild time but at least there's crappy doodles to be made.

Yo it's a month into 2024, suppose we're well overdue for some art. Sorry January really just didn't exist for me, got done being sick and that good ole seasonal depression really time skipped me to February, very embarrassing.

Anywho art! I wanted my first post this year to be a redraw of the very first digital piece I did WAY back, I want to say 10 yrs ago or so? Back when little me only wanted to draw ponies and we had no idea what "layers" even were.

The original is so gross but we still love her.

She was done on colors 3d btw, for anyone intrested. That and miiverse were legit my first tastes of any social media, and they were glorious.

Quick update, I had originally planned on opening commissions, doing a holiday doodle, and maybe some more pokémon sketches but uh my family decided we were instead gonna do a Covid Christmas. So I'm gonna temporarily disappear for a bit. All is well, I'll be fine.

Sharing a bit of knowledge, vaccinated is not a get out of jail free card so please be careful out there. And if your unvaccinated please be extra careful, because this sucks, you don't want this. Stay safe and channel your inner germaphobe this holiday season.

Trying to figure out how to draw pokemon in a way that works for me, so big doodle practice page with a bunch of my team members was the way to go. I'm genuinley torn because on one hand my brain wants to follow the model but on the other the "screw the model" fluffy jolteon is my favorite here. And I'm way happier with this "more bird" version of Decidueye than with the previous attempt. Idk gonna take more trail and error, definitely a start in the right direction.

I am so hyped for part two of this dlc. Scarlet and Violet has proven that I will absolutely play and love a jankey broken game if the story is good. Plus they have knocked it out of the park with the legends for this gen. Like this is just an (I'm assuming)tiny, fuzzy, balding, roomba turtle with a beard. What's not to love?

(I have no idea how it moves, I'm really hoping for that good kingambit scoot tho)

I love how Twilight Princess just had some topless lady as their great fairy. Again a kids game. They really made some interesting choices with that one. Can't complain though, little me was in love with the mysterious pretty fairy in the murder cave.

Also quick self promo, I've been quietly trying to open commissions up for the first time. I had wanted to have them open already but hit a few snags in that plan, currently looking at the end of the month-ish. So heads up if thats something you'd be interested in.

Rising from my funk after finding out I work way better with prompts and time limits. So thats something. But also got myself the sims horse ranch pack and we are hyperfixating as it reawakes my inner horse girl. So uh my brains fighting itself over wanting to work or being sad and playing with horses. Truly the battle of the century.

Anywho, been forever since I played hades but I distinctly remember finding out I can decorate and immediately buying Zags supportive parent the flowers she deserves. Love you night mom.

Was bored working on my laptop so I decided to doodle the dolls on my desk while waiting for updates.

Slowly trying to get back into my art groove after my break, still have a couple personal art things to finish and seasonal depression slid in and hit like a freight train so its definitely a work on progress.

Update doodle sacrifice was a success and my big nerd bird is finally the proud parent of 3 much smaller nerd birds! At 1,490 eggs I'm free from this nightmare!

So I shiny hunt and around the begining of October I decided that I wanted to get all forms of Decidueye(my absolute favorite baby). I already have my original Alola starter so I planned to breed a near perfect stat Rowlet and two shiny Rowlets to get both forms. On paper it was easy, I was traded a hacked foreign ditto years ago, this should've been easy. I have my regular rowlet, I got shiny one 169 eggs in, but shiny two man... shiny two is hurting my soul. I'm around 1,400 eggs in, and I know thats not terrible to some, but this is easily my longest hunt.

Anyways I did a doodle in an attempt it would get me any bit of luck so that I can finally be free and go hunt a feebas outbreak or something. Decided to share the doodle because why not?

You picked a mixed bag producer and a very mediocre director who both seem to have no experience in the genre? Zelda's a medieval fantasy game series and you have a superhero guy and a "planet of the apes" guy???

Y'all I am so scared. This could either be great or an absolute dumpster fire of a movie. Why live-action? No seriously why live-action??? For Zelda, the games that are so wonderfully cartooney even at their most serious? Why is Avi Arad producing a Zelda movie? His mixed bag of movies aside I DON'T THINK HES DONE FANTASY??? Like correct me if I'm wrong but I believe its mostly sci-fi, superheroes and stuff.

I know I'll enjoy it regardless, trashy movies are my jam. But if we want more it can't flop like 1993 mario(love that movie) and thats the bit thats got me nervous.

I'm gonna anxiously hold out hope solely becuase the tweet opened up with "This is Miyamoto." Just DON'T do BOTW/TOTK. I know you want to pick the cash cow Nintendo, but video game movies are WAY more likely to flop if you pick the one where everyone would rather just play the game. The bigger the fanbase the worse the odds get, so I am begging you not to come out of the gates with an adaptation of the ones where everyone and their mother has played it.
