Story/musical idea

So this guy was a part of the original punk rock movement in the late '70s. Maybe he was in a band or something, and it was just a big part of his life and it eventually like faded out of his life. But so he lives above a little store or something and then it gets closed down. After a while, it finally gets turned into a stage space or bar or something like that, and a bunch of rock bands do gigs there and over time he rediscovers his love for it and maybe joins a band as the drummer or something and the story is just him making his way back into that world.
