happy new year! i have just returned from running camp at the beach, hence the sky/ocean photos. it was lots of fun (the beach part not the running part) but i got quite burnt lol. i also went bowling yesterday and won a game so i have added my sister's response to me winning 💀

but yes summer is still happening and i genuinely cannot believe i'm going into year 12 in like 3 weeks (please send help)

School is over!!! I also got my methods study score which was shockingly good. Like I really thought i threw any chances of anything over a raw 32 or something because of my sacs, so I must've pulled the greatest final exams of my life. But I'm so, so relieved it's over! 1 year of school to go :))

I haven't really tackled any holiday homework yet, but I figured I'd earned a break. I hope everyone's holidays are also going well

Hey, guess what? You're allowed to identify as something and then later identify as something else. It doesn't make you a liar or a fraud or an idiot. It's fine. It's okay. People change and grow and their understandings of themselves change and grow too. That's life. Don't sweat it.

It's okay to identify as gay and then later as bi or as bi and then later as gay. It's okay to identify as aro and then later realise you do experience romantic attraction. It's okay to change what name you use or what pronouns you use three hundred times. It's okay and you're always welcome in my community. Be kind to yourself and give yourself grace.

I don't atm, but only because I don't think I could post as regularly as a studygram would demand - tumblr is much kinder to inconsistent posters.

that said i'm sure it would be worth it if you were willing to put in the effort!

My year 11 exams start tomorrow! I have 4 in the first week, but then only 1 in the second week, which is actually kind of nice. I am completely dead meat for physics, but the rest are looking ok for now! I am also picking up a new hobby (crochet). It is in fact a challenge, but hopefully I can actually learn how do do it properly! I'll probably have more of a go after exams though.

Methods is over!!

Honestly I still can't believe I never have to study it again. I literally took out my calculator today and opened my book and then was like...oh wait.

Exam one was lowkey chill, but exam two was the most stressful thing I've ever done (I had 2 minutes to spare when I finished). I may have looked up the suggested solutions, so I do have a vagueish idea of my marks, which are shockingly?? good?? I have been waiting 17 years to get good at maths and it happened in my final exam 💀. hopefully they make up for my trainwreck sacs :)

My final methods exams are now 4 days away, which is unbelievably terrifying.

The good news is that the holidays unlocked motivation (and fear) within me that I genuinely did not think I had. As a result, I've done 42 practice exams :)

The goal is 45 by wednesday (the day of the skills exam), which is looking quite likely, so honestly a win is a win.

I'm very nervous but it's going to be over soon and then no more methods ever again!
