Clearly, I found your writing quite effective!” I am currently translating The Plumbers, a horror/dark comedy novella from author Terry M. West, and this is the actual message I just sent him. Just wanted to share. Quick summary: the story is about two guys who live in a country ravaged by a strange sickness that presents itself as a red skin rash and turns its victims into rabid killing machines. Since they are plumbers, and therefore “essential workers”, they are sent to the infected zones to keep the taps and sewers flowing. For them, a day of plunging the bog and battling the plaguers in gruesome fashion is just another day on the job.
