It's been a long time since a game has enraged me as much as this one stage of PaRappa the Rapper.
I thought I finally figured out how to get a Cool, but then Stage 4 decides to show up and just not work! No matter what I do, it refuses to reach Cool.
Even playing it normally sometimes puts me down to Awful for seemingly no reason. I'm about half way through the song on this screenshot and my score is 0... ZERO!? Why? Jkfhlhmglfngkylfnfkg.
I have a Cool for every stage except this one and it's driving me insane! 😭
I'm seeing a lot of negative comments about the new Silent Hill teaser, but I thought it was decent enough. I love Silent Hill 1 - 4; they are some of the greatest horror games ever made in my opinion, so seeing the series decline over the years (and then eventually get abandoned) was painful to say the least.
Personally, I liked the visuals and design. My main issue with The Short Message is that I felt the main character was too vocal, talking to herself too often. Maybe they decided to do this because it's a shorter experience?
This isn't on the same level as Hideo Kojima's P.T. but that doesn't necessarily matter. It's just a different type of teaser. I think this is a step in the right direction, even if it is a little underwhelming.
Shadow the Hedgehog is back and teaming up with Classic and Modern Sonic in SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS, an all-new collection featuring two unique experiences!
Play as Shadow the Hedgehog in a brand-new story campaign, and tackle iconic 2D and 3D stages as Classic and Modern Sonic in a newly remastered version of SONIC GENERATIONS.
Sonic Generations is one of my favourite modern Sonic games and now we're getting a remaster with a brand new campaign added to it as well! Plus, I love Shadow so this announcement got me super excited.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered releases next month on February 14th 2024. Today we finally got some new info and media.
First up, some new GIFs showing comparisons between classic and remastered graphics:
Next, we have some new screenshots giving us a look at the new Photo Mode, boss heath display, and a new look at character and item models:
Finally, we get a glimpse at some of the 200+ achievement icons, and a look at the settings menu (I'm assuming this specific screen is from Tomb Raider 1) highlighting a Tank or Modern controls switch.
It looks like this going to be an excellent remaster. I'm so excited to play these games again next month.
Just looking at the key art brings back so many memories.
Sure, I understand the criticisms, but I loved Sonic Unleashed. In my opinion, it helped modern Sonic gameplay grow a lot with the introduction of the Boost mechanic. Sonic Frontiers even feels like it takes inspiration from Unleashed by combining the speed of the day stages with the combat of the night stages.
The months feel like they're moving by so slowly with how excited I am for this collection. I might have played these games through a hundred times when I was a kid (especially TR1) but even so this collection is my most anticipated game right now.
This blog recently turned four years old. How has it been that long already? 😱 I haven't used Tumblr as much as I wanted to for most of that time, but hope to start posting more.
I'm seeing a lot of hype for the new Fortnite update so I thought that maybe I'll finally try it out and see what all the fuss is about. If I don't like it, at least I can play as one of the crossover characters I like while I suffer, right? Well, no.
Apparently it's a good idea to remove them from the store and not have them return for years or potentially even never? That really sucks, because they just lost some easy money from me if the Resident Evil characters were still available for purchase.
