Not dead surprisingly! Just have been busy a lot and well— creativity and hyperfixation have flowed out one way or the other.

I’m very much active on @just-some-friendly-fun as I’ve moved to a multi fandom sort of writing thing. I still am very invested in transformers and I write about other things too, like OCs to the transformers franchise and more.

I’m hoping to at least talk to some more of my followers on over there and interact with you guys if possible, so stop on by and maybe say hi or something !

No big issue, it’s just— I felt bad for being gone for so long on this account after I said I’d “revive” it, but so far

Thoughts on rid15 Steeljaw?

how I feel about the character:

Mmm. Mixed bag with this guy. I love his character though. First impressions were also a bit rocky and bipolar. I liked him explicitly-- EXPLICITLY for his voice but through all of that I got fascinated with his character a bit more. Especially when it came to details like his eyes, they reminded me of Predaking's eyes. He's violent, he's cunning, and then brrr-- kinda went down the drain through certain portions of the show soon after. How I feel about him now is still mixed and I didn't like how RiD15 squished his intimidation factor into a smaller version then it was before but I'd still consider him one of my favorite characters (kinda wish he got more episodes too, even if he was the main villain through s1 and s2-- I think).

• OTP: No major OTPs. Maybe him and Bumlebee?-- meh, don't exactly know. • OT3: Steeljaw, Fracture, and Thunderhoof. The big three. I'd prefer them as more of a "platonic" thing than rather romantic? Their trio circle is nice but I don't have much to back me up on why I'd prefer those three as a pairing. I just think they're neat together even if they don't show much interaction with each other that doesn't spread far away from treating each other as boss to business colleague. • NOTP: I've seen this around a couple times, big time NOTP would be him and Glowstrike. I can't really and/or entirely wrap my head around as to why certain people ship them together but it's whatever. Not too big on that ship specifically. • favorite bromance:

Him and Bumblebee I suppose are a good bromance, aside from the whole "hey I really wanna arrest you" & "hey I really want your helm on a platter"" business. They work together semi-well and I wish we could've seen more of that instead of the final season scrunch where he just HAPPENED to be on the ship AND SNEAK PAST EVERYBODY'S ATTENTION after hearing about what was happening. But yeah, let the enemies be bros for a second. They're both team-leaders with a lot of weight on their shoulders and I think there's room to bond and advice to be offered (that may or may not be used later for the inconvenience of the other. • favorite family dynamic:

Don't have one for Steeljaw. • favorite canon thing about them:

He has a brother named Phantomjaw. HE. HAD. A BROTHER. THEN IT WAS JUST NEVER ELABORATED ON OR SHOWN OR MENTIONED IN THE SHOW WHATSOEVER??? WE COULDA GOTTEN AN EPISODE WITH HIM AND STEELJAW??? Makes me want to commit violence on Hasbro for not ever bringing this up besides using them as a way to push out more toys and make more bucks. • favorite headcanon:

He likes long walks, long drives to clear his mind, no music, no Autobots, ideas about taking over the world, just nothing. I think he deserves something peaceful every once in a while with all the pressure he took on as being a Decepticon leader.

TFP Soundwave

how I feel about the character:

Soundwave !! Another one of my top favorite cons! He's awesome! I like his character design and just overall presence in the show-- a cryptic and menacing character that could be more of a threat than we or the Autobots know but prefers to stay in his post as just a surveillance chief. I adore Laserbeak still being with him too, as not a cassette this time, but a drone. Which seems like a really nifty idea in connection to my love for his design and aaaa I just-- love his character sm.

• OTP Soundwave and Shockwave, I love mixing their names together from SoundShock, ShockSound, and then finally to WaveWave as just a ship name entirely. It's pretty funny and I honestly wish they got to interact just a little more aside from the one episode where they were assigned to bring a Predacon bone back. Although I still love the other small bits of interaction, even if it isn't intend to mean much like during the time Shockwave requested for a bridge out of the battlefield after everything was finished and the citadel collapsed. • OT3: Starscream, Knockout, and Soundwave give me either Mean Girls or The Heathers energy when they're being put together. You've got one of them who's got the info and dirt on anybody and two queens who'll drag your ass if they managed to get access or be allowed to know about said dirt. Although I would like to imagine Soundwave being the one out of their little trio to be able to get them out of situations they've dug themselves to deep into too. • NOTP:

Just any pairing with any Autobot and him is a big nope on my part. • favorite bromance:

Soundwave & Megatron, though wished it was shown or elaborated more outside of work like reminiscing on the days of Kaon together. • favorite family dynamic:

The idea of him being dubbed as a "single and very tired" father sounds about right when it comes to just him taking care of his drone that means as much to him as family. • favorite canon thing about them:

My favorite canon thing about him is simple, he can speak but chooses not to. This just opens the door of opportunity for him to fuck around with people and just drain their patience away no matter how hard they try to get him to talk. Am I referring to the one episode where he got kidnapped and "interrogated" by the Autobots? Absolutely. I also love that he communicates through emojis, it's neat. • favorite headcanon:

My personal headcanon for Soundwave is that he just likes cats. That's it. Especially black cats.

Ah! The explosive boyo

My personal opinions on TFP Wheeljack !

how I feel about the character:

He seems pretty neat, from the first impression to the second-- and everything after that. He's one of my favorite Autobots! I liked his relation with Bulkhead a lot and with Miko too! Though-- kinda felt like he was a slight bit of a more bad influence in terms of being the fuel to her more chaotic side? Definitely wished to see a more prominent battle between him and Dreadwing though. Just two well-knowledged bots who know how to work their ways around explosives (well-- Dreadwing sorta knows more from what I'm guessing but still).

OTP:

Ratchet and Wheeljack. The moment that he called Ratchet "sunshine" was a moment that never left my mind and left me to smash the "SHIP" button in my brain harder.

OT3:

Surprisingly? Bulkhead, Arcee, and Wheeljack. I was very invested in Arcee and Wheeljack's little moment together during the one episode where Knockout kidnapped Fowler and June. And-- I like both the dynamic they have with Bulkhead! Plus, I like the idea of them having a poly-sort of grouping and if its not in a romantic way. I'd still love it even more as a platonic sort of thing.

NOTP:

M. I don't very much like Starjack (Starscream & Wheeljack) or the ship consisting of Dreadwing and Wheeljack together in reference to just canon-wise. I'd dig it if it was written better outside of the show itself!-- but uh. Something about shipping Wheeljack with his captor and torturer rubs me wrong. Along with shipping him with Dreadwing, someone who killed another close wrecker he was friends with.

favorite bromance:

Bulkhead. Bulkhead. Bulkhead. Bulkhead. Bulkhea-

It's so cute. I love it. I love it SOOO MUCH. And his cute nickname for Wheeljack being "Jackie" just makes me go 💖💗💓💞💘💝❣️💓💖" I love it.

favorite family dynamic:

I like the dynamic between him and Miko with being "the crazy but cool (and probably slight bad influencing) uncle" to them.

I'm going to be honest I barely know what family dynamic means in the context of this part of the ask game.

favorite canon thing about them:

TFP Wheeljack's alt mode. I like the car he drives around with. That counts as a canon thing right.

favorite headcanon:

A headcanon I personally have is that he plays a cybertronian version of a fiddle really well-- or that he just likes country music and prolly blasts it while driving around and out of the base.

I’m gonna assume you’re asking me about transformers prime and honestly I have no clue.

Everybody, in this series…

NOBODY HERE SEEMS MENTALLY STABLE— EVEN LIKE SIDE CHARACTERS LIKE THAT ONE GINGER HAIRED DUDE WHO RACED JACK! (Maybe Jack’s crush that appeared for like two episodes and then never again)

Everybody seems to need therapy, I’ll say it again. They’re all soldiers, who’ve spent thousands of years fighting for a dead planet, for one faction to win the other. So it’s reasonable, HIGHLY reasonable for some of them to be heavily affected by it while some others have either moved on or are really good at suppressing it.

For some time, after I watched TFP for like the second time, I thought DREADWING might’ve been the second most mentally stable out of the Decepticons but look where he is now to me

I sorta forgot during the second time watching it, that yeah. He also did have a lot of history in the war and he also lost his own brother, and FELT IT.

There are only several categories I can place most if not all the characters in TFP to, which are,

- Those who are heavily affected

- Those who show a strong suppression to it

- Those who’ve just accepted it/ or moved on (it’s sort of slim with this one)

- what trauma

And everybody seems to fit the categories, at least all the main characters.

But yeah, can’t say for sure anon
