Obey Me! in Wonderland

I’m going to try and post more often now

All of the descriptions are based off of the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Sadly this doesn’t include Tweedledee, Tweedledum, the White Queen, and the Red Queen who only appear in Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Alice: MC

Are main characters in a magical world

Gets dragged into everyone’s problems

Cheshire Cat: Solomon

Is a huge sh*t to everyone

Will never give clear answers

Intentions are very unclear

Mad Hatter: Beelzebub

It’s always tea time so he can always eat

Is pretty chill with the other characters

March Hare: Asmodeus

Mad as a march hare refers to the behavior of rabbits during mating season (March)

Dormouse: Belphegor

Depicted as always sleeping

Sticks around with the Mad Hatter/Beel

Queen of Hearts: Lucifer

Lose their tempers easily

Quick to punish

Who doesn’t want to see Lucifer as a queen?

King of Hearts: Diavolo

Has to calm down the queen

Just trying to rule the kingdom well

Knave of Hearts: Mammon 

Has stolen and will steal again

Gets pushed around a lot

Duchess: Satan

Very angry

Acts civilly while acting to upset the Queen

Can act civilly in general to appear calm

White Rabbit: Leviathan

Nervous all day, every day

Wants to be helpful

Actually has important jobs/titles

Caterpillar: Barbatos

Knows everything

Full of sass

Blue/green and insecty

Gryphon: Simeon

Helpful but dismissive

Allows Alice to learn herself

Mock Turtle: Luke 

Emotional yet childlike

Obey Me! as RPG Horror Games

There are definetely some close ties between games and or characters but I narrowed them down. These are not the only RPG horror games that could be referrenced but they are recorded as some of the most popular. These are just some late night thots that no one asked for.

Mammon - Mermaid Swamp: he and Rin are often called dump, really care for their friends, crude

Belphie - Yume Nikki: sleepy boi sleeps, gets to murder everyone, stuck in one room for a long time

(Extra-The Witch’s House is definitely Belphie Lesson 16 vibes)

Luke - The Hanged Man: young child among older individuals, has a temper at times, wants to help and feel comfortable

Lucifer - The Boogieman: both Keith and Lucifer overwork themselves, blame themselves for a death but refuse to believe that they feel guilty, emotionally constipated

Solomon - The Sandman: lots of magic, every character is shady, Solomon probably doesn’t sleep

Satan - The Crooked Man: dark detective work, can be social but does not fully trust others

Barbatos - Ib: artsy (Barbatos appreciates tea so much, he is artsy) and silent, does not show their full willpower, both were my first favorites

Asmo - Blank Dream: does not want to have a boring life, deeply hidden fears and insecurities, finds beauty in life

Diavolo - Mad Father: dedicated to their fathers and continue their work, there is a family assistant that is very loyal to them, want to see the best in others, do not understand others their age

Simeon - Alicemare: is very story based and focuses on others, there is a theme of wanting to belong while the surround is uncanny

Obey Me! as the Wizard of Oz (movie)

Here's my first go at this kinda thing, I'll be posting a masterlist soon!

Dorothy: MC

They both end up in a magical world where they make close friends and are aided on their goal. Is asked to complete tasks to both earn trust and to return home. Misses the magical world and it’s people after they return home.

Toto: Luke AND Simeon

Of course the beloved chihuahua is the small dog, it would be illegal. All three serve as guardian angels (two being actual angels) and protect Dorothy to some degree. Simeon would also be a Toto since he just kinda lets MC figure out problems on their own but still offers some comfort along the way.

Scarecrow: Mammon

This isn't just because his name is Stupidmammon. It's more because he's viewed as stupid and a moron. They are the first one who helps Dorothy/MC along their journey and is a self viewed protector. Both are associated with crows ('cause symbolism) and are afraid of many things, especially of witches.

Tinman: Satan

They believe that they are heartless and are incapable of love, serving as the logical member of the group. They hate how they were created with the Tinman being forced to chop himself up (brutal) and Satan spawning from Lucifer. The two end up being the most tender of the group despite their belief that they are emotionless. They both have dandy bow ties.

Lion: Leviathan

When introduced, both attempt to appear confident and superior but are actually insecure about their supposed inadequacy at being “The King or the Beasts”/”One of the Seven Lords.” Both can get very passionate about who they want to be without realizing they actually are succeeding. The two have moments where they face danger without giving themselves credit. The rest of the group considers them cowardly at time.

Glinda: Asmodeus

They accessorize Dorothy/MC while being the most popular one in all of the magical world with tons of praise. They want Dorothy/MC to do the work despite knowing an easy answer, making the most out of the situation. They know what is actually going on in their magical world and are close with the Wizard.

‘Wicked’ Witch of the West: Diavolo

Someone had to be the ‘Wicked Witch’ but this could definitely be seen from a Wicked angle. Both are greatly feared by the people of the magical world and take up a responsibility to rule the land in a way. They want to keep Dorothy/MC in the magical world for some kind of gain, good or bad. Elphaba from Wicked and Dia are both trying to do good for their magical worlds but their good intentions are antagonized. Also, neither of them understand youth trying but are trying so give them credit.

Nikko: Barbatos

They are the underrated allies of the ‘Wicked’ Witches that gives off sarcastic and sassy auras. Both are loyal and serve as main assistants, possibly owing something to the ‘Wicked’ Witches.

Wizard of Oz: Solomon

Both are very shady, giving cryptic answers and manipulating a large population. At least Solomon actually has magic, but he sometimes uses it to piss people off. The two of them are not from the magical world but have found a way to game the system.

Aunt Em: Beelzebub

I imagine that Dorothy MC lives with Beel and Belphie in a cottage or something since Belphie constantly alludes to wanting to run away with MC and Beel. Arguably Beel is more emotionally present like Aunt Em, both also being family centric.

Uncle Henry: Belphegor

Belphie is a part of the cottage life group, being the one who wants to run away with MC and Beel. Uncle Henry isn’t mentioned as much as Aunt Em but is still cared about. It is only logical to assume that he, like Belphie, is just sleeping (’cause why not). Both sass Dorothy/MC, give off tired energy, and are pretty relaxed.

Miss Gulch: Lucifer

Both are about to ruin the cottage group’s cottagecore lifestyle. They are definitely coming to get that angel and that little dog too (like in Lessons 5 and 6). Both want the cottage group to be more responsible and not interrupt their socialite lifestyle.
