As those who know me are aware, I own a lot of GoldenEye/Bond merch. And guess what? Up above are my latest arrivals 🙃 But unlike all my previous stuff, I decided to make a post this time—mostly because of how thankful I am to the people who acquired/made them for me.

First picture: my very own, old, battered GE cartridge, signed by none other than the good doctor David Doak and composer extraordinaire Grant Kirkhope + a surprise American cartridge (and a bunch of 90s, Russia-themed National Geographics...)

I mentioned in a previous post that one of my preciouses was on the way back from Arizona. Well there it is :D The one cartridge that started it all, the one reason I'm out and about professing my love for all things GE okay mostly Alec... now signed by not just one, but two of the amazing people who made it. I don't have enough thanks to give to @prismatic-bell, who not only managed to get it signed for me, but also sent back all those lovely bonuses along with it srsly ilu nyan.

Second picture: a 1:2 replica of the GE remote mine, complete with light, sound and vibration (👀)

A sweet little thing courtesy of my fellow Frenchman (and GE creator...) Making the Mine ! Absolutely in love with it I might or might not be pushing the button every so often, and I'm so so glad to have sneaked on Instagram just to strike up conversation with the man! Also was a pleasure to meet up IRL... and now I look forward to adding more to my newly started mine collection, hehe.

Welp, this project took me way more time than I expected (9 days...) I mean, every quote has basically been its own mini design project, and I also had to battle (and lose several times to) my extremely uncooperative printer to scan the Fleming one.

As for the inspiration, it comes from @dye-it-rouge-et-noir/@carvermediagroupnetwork's Elliot Carver web weaving—making an Alec one was simply a no-brainer for me lol. Don't know if I'll do another, but it was fun nonetheless :D

Heterochromia Idiotica (chibi dump 15)

Whoops, I drew this literally 2 months ago and never posted it 😅

Basically a little bit of very niche fun with the two heterochromes of the greater Bond franchise so far: Richard Stamper (the bleached blonde himbo of Tomorrow Never Dies fame) and Jonathan "GoldenEye" Hunter (GoldenEye Rogue Agent's main ADHDer swagger man).

Since the CMGN is canon in the Rogue Agent verse, that means they could potentially meet each other... As you can see, my headcanon is that they really wouldn't get along, despite their many similarities 🤭

Oh, and the colour style in this is directly inspired by @dye-it-rouge-et-noir/@carvermediagroupnetwork's CMGN Off Air series :D

Currently watching: zero movie lately, and I don't watch shows. Though I've been rewatching all of BobbyBroccoli's Youtube documentaries on scientific scandals/controversies... so I guess that counts? (Highly recommended btw, they're very well told stories--and a treat especially if, like me, you have a background in science)

Currently obsessed with: not much that's fun, and that's a problem. Like, honestly, it seems all I'm living for these days is building my immigration application... and chores. I could say I'm seriously waiting for April to come by, tho. One because I'll finally have the money to bring my most expensive (and honestly bonkers) piece of merch to a leather specialist for restoration, and two because another of my preciouses should be back from Arizona with some nice signatures on it 👀
