I'm alive!

I'm trying to get back into writing (again) so. I figured I'd post here to let people know I AM alive, I've just had hella burnout from both genshin and writing, considering all I wrote for was genshin. I'll probably still write for genshin (I'm working on Dottore stuff rn) but just a heads up that it will likely mostly be harbinger content. Mostly Dottore. Some Pantalone. Maybe Arlecchino, given I've watched the trailers and WOOOUGH.

In other news, I've been. Playing a lot of Star Rail............. Admittedly I didn't have much urge to write for any of the characters that have come up yet EXCEPT for Sunday. Second I saw that man I knew it was Over. Once I figure out how to write him I'm probably going to start on that. Maybe Luocha and Boothill, too, depending on how Boothill is when we See Him. He's gotta be at least little evil.... please hyv.......

I can't promise regular updates (or any at all)! Been battling with depression lately, which is pretty typical. It's hard to find the time or energy after work to write. I'm trying. Digging through my drafts brought back a little bit of that desire to write, but I don't know if/when/how many of those drafts I'll finish.

Not an update but it is such a travesty that there's a sore lack of Yelan content.... she's been on every team of mine since her release and I love her sm. I plan to write for her sometime when inspiration strikes but. HER. 😩 she has. Such good yan potential. And besides that she's just hot?? She's rich???? She's got such a nice voice???? She has the air of someone who KNOWS they're hot. She's also strong..... did I mention she's pretty and I love her

Sorry if this is a bothersome question and I apologize if what I ask is incorrect as I may have confused you with someone else, but did you write a piece for yandere Kaeya where easer is a paranormal investigator and the reason why they never encounter anything is because Kaeya is a demon scarring them off? If so, did you delete it cause I can’t seem to find it on your page.

I did not delete it though, it got flagged with a community label by tumblr.

This means the post is hidden from the search feature (afaik), and hidden entirely from users who haven't changed their community label settings to "show." You can find these settings under "Account Settings" > "Content you see" > scroll down to "Community Labels" and make sure all are set to "show." I don't know what labels it was flagged with and tumblr does not tell me which ones. Edit: I can finally see them now, it's flagged with mature, violence, sexual themes labels lol.

I'll also update my masterlist just in case the labels also fucks up the search feature on my blog!

Personally, I don't use community labels of my own volition bc it suppresses my posts and disincentivizes me to even share my writing on tumblr. It also just does not work on mobile. I have mine set to "show" and it still hides content from me on mobile, which is the primary platform I use tumblr on.

You miss your wings terribly.

They still ache from time to time; phantom pains you can't seem to shake. Worse, still, is the sensitivity of your scars.

Dottore likes to run his fingers over them-- to admire his handiwork. You struggle to hold still, to be good, to not squirm away. But it's hard.

It's so sensitive it borders on pain when he runs his fingers over it, and he's not always gentle with his touches. Sometimes he presses down, digs his fingers into the skin harder than he should; and when you shudder, when you whimper in pain, he just smiles and says "still tender, I see."

You don't acknowledge the loss-- don't mourn it under the watchful eye of the Doctor. He'd coo patronizingly at you, equate the removal of such a piece of you to the removal of a tumor--

"Give them back," You'd railed against him when you'd woken up, suddenly and sharply and painfully aware of the loss, fresh sutures bleeding anew when you'd lunged at him.

Not that there's ever any point in fighting him.

Subduing you, weakened and sickly as he keeps you, takes him no time at all. If you're particularly unruly, he'll have a clone hold you down while he prepares a sedative-- he could keep sedatives on him, but you think he likes to see you squirm, see the dread on your face as he slinks over to the alchemical table, grabbing familiar vials.

You woke up a few hours later, head pounding and mouth so terribly and familiarly dry. Dottore was kneeling over you, coaxing you into a sitting position as your head swims; sleep bleeding from you slowly.

Once he'd seen the clarity return to your eyes, pain etching dully across your face as the sting of the sutures registered anew, he'd pressed something into your limp fingers.

Feathers, soiled with your own blood.

"Well?" He'd asked, deceptively sweet, sharp teeth and the smell of cleaning chemicals, "You wanted them back."

You miss your wings, but you know better, now, than to ask for them back.
