Ok, can I ask about Bow and Glimmer please? While Angie and Sky seem to be really close to their grandparents and even each other (in the beginning) their descriptions don’t say much about their relationships with their parents. I’m curious because Bow and Glimmer’s relationships with their respective parents was an important part of their character arc and it seems to be a common trend with your OCs.

So, when it comes to parenting, Glimmer is very insistent that she is not overbearing like her mother. Bow is the more cautious parent, but they both try their best to stay well balanced. However, due to Glimmer's non-strict parenting policy, there wasn't a lot of boundaries for Angie and Sky growing up. This worked well for Angie, given her inquisitive nature and hunger for knowledge, but not well for Sky, who is much more like Glimmer in the sense that he is reckless and has little self preservation skills. On top of that, Sky's own insecurities and projection issues have led him to believe that his mom and dad don't care about him and favor his sister, due to her prolific lifestyle and many achievements (along with being next in line for the crown). Bow and Glimmer try to spend what little free time they have with their children, but unfortunately, its not always evenly doled out (especially in Sky's eyes). This coupled with Glimmer's lack of boundary setting has accidentally driven a divide between Sky and the rest of the family.

Meet Sweet Bee! She is the main antagonist of Xe Ra: The Absolution of Heart and a scout from a different planet who has been hiding out on Etheria since it was still under Horde Control. Her job is to seek out planets suitable for infestation, use a mind-controlling fungal disc (coined as the "murder virus" by Entrapta) to enslave its citizens and then turn the planet into a new hive! Since Hordak was populating Etheria when she first landed, she had no choice but to lay low until the time was right. But now that Hordak is no longer a threat, she's seizing the opportunity to make a comeback.

Can I use your iteration of Flora

What is up with Shadow weaver?

1. Use her for what? Fanfics/art/ etc? Because I'm fine with that as long as you credit me (and I'd love links to see what you've made!)

2. Shadow Weaver is not the main antagonist in Xe Ra, but she is a threat that I wanted to explore more because I don't think the main show of SPOP did enough with her. She has been slowly regaining form and power by spellbinding her spirit to the Black Garnet (before she died in SPOP because again, I feel like they killed her off with no resolution so I'm bringing her back LOL) so she can return and manipulate her way back into power.

Sorry If I'm bothering you, but can I ask how is the relationships between Scorpia and her Children? Because I'm really curious to know how she is as a mom

Sorry for the late answer, I’ve been dealing with chronic pain. Thank you for asking this!

Scorpia loves Arbor and Flora more than anything. She’s a very doting mom, very affectionate and very protective of her family. She’s had a really big influence on Arbor especially, sharing her love of singing with him since he was little and helping him preparing to take over Pandinus (formerly the Fright Zone) as the next Emperor. She also is much more nurturing and encouraging of Flora’s bug special interest (I think she can relate to Flora’s appreciation of insects and arachnids since they’re both arachnids themselves!). 

However, Scorpia is not without her negative traits she carried with her from years of living under the Horde’s rule. Even after time has passed, Catra and Scorpia’s relationship never got back to normal after their big blowout (in SPOP season 4) and she still ended up having issues expressing to people she loves when they make her upset and not knowing how to deal with her own negative emotions. When Perfuma and Flora butt heads, Scorpia feels caught in the middle. She doesn’t know how to stick up for Flora without getting angry at Perfuma, and in her mind, causing more hurt to everyone even more. Not to mention, even though Arbor got many positive traits from Scorpia, he also absorbed one of her fatal flaws: not communicating problems and putting everyone else first. Even though she means well and just wants to keep the peace, Scorpia has to learn how to set boundaries with people she loves to protect others AND herself, and this time /actually/ heal from a deep wound caused long ago.

Hello. Can I Ask you something? Why is Perfuma so... critical Towards Flora? I mean, I get that she loves pretty flowers like roses or tulips, but Flora is her daughter. Perfuma was able to become friends with Huntara and she fell in love with Scopria, she was always able to see the best part in her friends, even when she was angry, so why can't she accept that her daughter is simply different?

This question is one I have a lot to say to, but I'm going to try and keep it short and cohesive the best I can!

Perfuma does love Flora, and she is a kind character...usually. However, one character we never really see Perfuma be kind to or apologize to for getting unreasonably irritated with is Entrapta. There are multiple interactions in She-Ra (specifically in Season 1 - No Princess Left Behind and Season 5 - Launch) where Perfuma, who's usually sweet and understanding, becomes angry and short with Entrapta for, quite frankly, showing autistic traits and not understanding social queues. She talks down to her, calls her a "challenge" and puts her on a LEASH TWICE! As an autistic person, seeing someone whos supposed to represent me put on a leash like a dog was really uncomfortable and sad. Not a lot of the fandom sees what's wrong with that or why it's disrespectful, and it only makes me want Perfuma to have to make up for it and change even more. [And the show NEVER talks about this again after it happens.]

When you are autistic, you find that a lot of people who love you may have some ableism to get over that they may not even realize they have. Acting like someone's autism isn't a part of who they are and seeing it as a challenge is deeply rooted ableism in our society and even the nicest people may still say hurtful things without meaning to because thinking like that is so normalized. My mom used to say "my child has some issues" when talking about my autism to co-workers and friends, and even though I know she loves me, it hurt a lot to hear her talk about my autism that way. Relationships between parents and their children are really complex, and something as bad as wanting to put a leash on someone because you don't respect them enough to let them do things on their own doesn't go away without being addressed. I wanted to really show how Perfuma would see the consequences of her actions towarda Entrapta and how they bled into her treatment of Flora instead of acting like it never happened.

TLDR; Perfuma is not a bad character or mom, and she loves her daughter. But part of this mother-daughter relationship is Perfuma realizing she needs to learn how to respect Flora, because she's unlearning all the prejudice behavior she showed towards Entrapta, and therefore becoming a better mom AND person.

(Pretty much all of the main cast from She-Ra is going to have to come to terms that being survivors of war trauma and then having children while rebuilding the whole planet causes you to have shortcomings as parents, so all of them will be realizing that they need to fix things for the sake of their kids and themselves.)

having to hide the fact that you're 100% certain your runestone is cursed and only you have been seeing this creepy lady everywhere appearing and disappearing since you were little, but everyone tells you that its just a nightmare, and you REALLY don't wanna freak out your sister and moms any further (because this lady you told them about as a kid when she first appeared is DEFINITELY dead, right?), so you just keep your fears to yourself to protect yourself from the humiliation of looking crazy again and again...then you start closing yourself more (because what if she takes over your runestone and uses it to destroy everyone close to you?!), if you just keep all the increasing horror a secret, no one you love will get hurt especially not this one prince who you kinda sorta maybe have a thing for...JUST ARBOR THINGS!

feeling like an outcast because you can only grow fungi, cacti and poisonous plants and don't see the appeal of "prettier" flowers that your kingdom worships so goddamn much and your mom and you have a strained relationship because she is passively ableist to you as her autistic daughter and you don't tell her how much it hurts you when she acts like you're a challenge because you like insects and spiny plants and other things she deems not "zen" enough for her and you don't even CARE about her approval at this point, you just want to be understood and respected because she may love you but she has a really funny way of showing it sometimes...JUST FLORA THINGS!
