I haven't watched Shadow and Bone, neither have I read the books. But my best friend loves the book series and has reccomended it to me more than once, so I'll be reading them at some point to see if they're as good as she says they are.

I know Redacted is a boyfriend RP channel BUT I think his best work are plot based things like Inversion and Imperium/Cataclysm. I love them so much! The tension, the plot, the sound design. It’s all so cool!

Yes! I prefer the more plot-focused audios too. But I understand why some would prefer to listen to the ones that require less mental and emotional energy.

The channel's earlier videos are more like asmr; with whispers and soft sounds, etc. But over time it became less so and the channel was thus renamed from Redacted ASMR to Redacted Audio, and I think that was a good decision because all the heavy plot-based audios would've been held back by the asmr restrictions. Like could you imagine the Inversion storyline as asmr? It wouldn't have been the same.

Unpopular Opinion: I'm kind of glad we haven't seen Caelum in awhile. Between the Moral Crusaders latching on to him and my general disinterest in his deal I just kinda think he's run his purpose and it'd be better if his playlist was marked Complete and just be done with it.

While I do miss Caelum, I feel like the Redacted channel as a whole isn't as interesting or engaging as it used to be.

The deletion of certain storylines (Fred and Bright) and the repeated fantastical sexual assault allegories made me stop listening as much.

Caelum is one of the only characters whose story doesn't annoy or disappoint me. Probably because we don't hear from him as much lol

Yes, 100%. Imo i think this is actually a common opinion amongst the general population, because people tend to simply avoid what they don't like.

The events of The Winter Soldier trial told in a series of tweets. Inspired by two amazing mixed-media fics that play with the possibility of what might happen if Bucky was put on trial after the events of CATWS:

- United States v. Barnes by fallingvoices and radialarch

- cross this river to the other side by defcontwo

This is more of a re-mix than actual fic illustration, though all credit for the idea and the tweets goes to the respective authors. Stylewise I was going for a mix between actual pictures and courtroom sketches. References used courtesy of Getty Images. And thanks to johanirae for being my art-beta.

Survival instinct whumpees. They’re neither defiant or compliant, they simply want to survive. They talk to whumper trying to calm them down. They tell stories, crack jokes, give compliments, anything it takes to create a bond that might make whumper stay their hand. 

Better yet? Maybe this is the first pleasant conversation whumper has had in a long time. Maybe they melt into it, talk just as kindly back. They no longer have intent to harm whumpee, but now, they don’t want to let them go either. They want to protect them. 

They want to keep them.
