DeviantArt used to be the place I put new poses up three times a week. It was the best place to get consistent updates of new poses from me.

BUT NOW! I have a self-hosted gallery on AdorkaStock.com 🥰 It's a WIP (and there's a lot of work to do) but I like having my poses on my own site. 😌

You can sign up for my newsletter and get an email digest of new poses each week or once a month so you don't have to always remember to go check for what's new. My long term goal is to have this gallery completely replace my DA archive. Reasons for this move include: - DA's enthusiastic support for AI - DA removing categories making it nearly impossible to search for CC licensed images - not being beholden to DA's future random TOS and API changes

made a chart of the straw hats' skin tones with the colors being screencapped directly from the episodes, to show how much they've lightened. this is more than just an "artstyle change" or "design evolution" or "just the timeskip" this is blatant racism/colorism. it's fucking ridiculous and i don't understand how toei is continuously getting away with it please reblog btw, i think this is something people should see

#id like to say i hate how white they all are. both in anime or manga #but when it comes to coloring manga its normal to see 'less color' bc it usually means having to have a bunch of pens #talking abt oda bc i think he uses copics #and also having to add a Lot of layers to make colors look darker #which is time oda doesnt have #also manga r usually colored in light washes #which i believe comes from copying thar watercolor look #but also from an art standpoint maybe hed have a hard time making the main characters pop from his bgs #bc of how colorful they are #but well i cant be sure of any of those things lmao #all this to say i still think oda could do a better job with his colors lol #but i think the anime is worse in this bc they made the choice to Stop giving them good coloring #but i guess its someting that happened with anime as a whole in last decades so #its something we see in op but reflects the industry as a whole #btw yall will never catch me making any crew member white besides nami n sanji lol #one piece
