Telling Lucifer Morningstar You're Pregnant Headcannons

this is my first time writing for hazbin hotel so be prepared

Lucifer Morningstar x f!reader

You hadn't been feeling well for a couple of days now

You were sure it was nothing but Lucifer was getting increasingly worried, especially with the annual extermination right around the corner

You decided to take a pregnancy test not really expecting anything of it whilst Lucifer went to visit Charlies hotel for the first time

You felt really bad about missing it but you've been throwing up all morning :(

When the test came back positive you couldn't help but to just stare at it in shock for several minutes

Just to be safe you did 2 more (they were all positive)

After the initial shock wore off you were more than excited about having your first baby!!!

But what would Lucifer say?????

He had already been through parenthood with Charlie

Would he really want another child???

These thoughts ate at you for a while

Eventually, you shook your head and decided to try and be more positive about how he would react to this

Now you just had to think about how you were going to break the news....

By the time Lucifer got home it was beginning to get dark

He came bouncing into your room ready to tell you all about how he had bonded with Charlie

You let him ramble on for a bit with a smile on your face, laughing when he grimaced about how he had to speak to Adam earlier

"Overall, I think it was a successful day. How are you feeling? Did you call that doctor I mentioned?"

"No, I actually feel alot better. I've actually been making something for Charlie for her new hotel!"

"That's so thoughtful, my love. What have you made?"

You nervously pulled out a little box, inside containing a bright yellow duck with the words "Best Big Sister" written in black on its chest

Lucifer stared at the present with a puzzled expression

"But.... Charlie's an only child..."

"Not anymore, sweetie"

He still didn't seem to understand what you were trying to say

So instead, you reached for your nightstand and pulled your positive pregnancy test out of the drawer, handing it to him

"I'm pregnant..."

No one spoke for a solid 5 minutes

He just stared dumbfounded at the test in his hand

You were too scared to say anything, feeling it best he takes as long as he needs to process the big news

Until you saw his eyes well up with tears

"You're having a baby?" his voice came out in barely a whisper

"We're having a baby, sweetie."

He dropped the test and flung himself around you, pulling you into a bone crushing hug

"We're having a baby!!!! I'm going to be a father again!"

Safe to say he was ecstatic

nothing has been more important to my being queer than when i went to my first pride parade, got seperated from my group, had a panic attack about it and was sitting on the side of the road holding a tiny genderfluid flag and freaking out. then this six foot five drag queen in four inch heels appeared from literally nowhere and sat down next to me. i, this scared-shitless trans bi kid at pride for the first time, very nervously told her she looked pretty and i told her my name and that i got lost and didn't feel like i should be at pride and she held my hand and said "oh, honey, everybody deserves to be here, especially you. pride is for everybody who's ever gotten lost, who's been scared of who they are or where they are. you think we never been scared before? pride's for you, honey, because you're scared. you don't have to be proud right now, but you're gonna be one day, honey, i'm sure of it."

i found my group soon after that and i never saw that queen again but to this day i am convinced i met an angel.

as an 04 kid i'm too young to be friends with adults, i'm too old to hang around with secondary school kids, i'm too "emotionally mature" to form lasting friendships with kids my own age, obviously too old to befriend primary school kids and obviously too young for old people. everyone my age is in constant self destruct mode which means they want to phase out the friends who just want to keep them safe and stop them from doing dangerous things. my younger friends are starting to enter this phase, my older friends have too many responsibilities to connect with me.

being 18 is the most difficult and yet most freeing time of your life where you start getting more freedom and more responsibilities and as you do, you mature and grow more; some dont grow enough and some too much. its the loneliest i've ever felt and yet i can't wait to see where my next chapter takes me
