sinu is pethetic. dont get me wrong, hes my favourite, but he is pathetic. hes embarrassing and lame and if i knew him irl, id walk away from him in public and pretend i dont know him.

thats also what makes him my favourite. hes silly, hes fun, he cherishes those around him. yes, hes embarrassing, but he is also insanely charismatic. yes, hes lame, but he can also be really fucking cool ("its called passion you little punk"). yes, he's pathetic, hes not like gun and goo who can obliterate tons of armed men, he might make stupid youtube videos over fighting, he may beg on his hands and knees humiliatingly, but he is also absolutely incredible.

i will make fun of him until i die but he doesn't have to be the strongest, he is simply to best.

ik with how much i talk about sinu, youd think i was down bad for him. no. i want that man to be my father. id be around after all the girls wrote on his coat so we'd have a tradition that every year, on my birthday, id write smth new on his coat. but when he retires and jake has the coat, sinu keeps it going for one more year by having me write a little note to him. despite him still being young, id write something stupid like "im not driving you to the retirement home."

also on another note, how does yeonhui have more personality with her minimal screen time than main female characters like zoe?? why is she allowed to not be a damsel in distress that clings onto sinu like she'll die otherwise?? im not saying PTJ made her strong, not physically at least, but he gave her a toughness, an assertiveness, a care for the street just like sinu's.

truly, whenever i read this arc, i wonder wtf PTJ has been doing. if he couldve written THIS then why is the rest of lookism just...not that good??

(listen, i love lookism but its a guilty pleasure bc i can accept that it ranges from okay to awful 90% of the time with rare exceptions that an arc is amazing.
