This one right here. The one that Katsuki is constantly referring back to as "the moment where it all went wrong" and being all dramatic about. His core memory of Izuku being a hero.

But I raise you this... Katsuki does not remember this scene,

This is the scene where a young Katsuki has just finished winning a fight against some older kids that were being bullies.

The scene that is Izuku flashes back to when thinking about Katsuki's heroic nature.

Because Katsuki does not remember a time when he stood up to Bullies instead of being one.

This is what I mean Bakugou and Deku will be the greatest together. When Deku gets tired and can't fill in All Might's shoes, Bakugou steps in and finishes it for him. They're two halves of one prophecy. They complete each other.

"I'm the guy who steps in when that nerd can't handle it all on his own" has been living SO rent free in my head since the last chapter.

Just the idea that Bakugous story has come so far and come to this, from being scared of Izuku's heart and thinking that Izuku looked down on him... wanting to be the number one hero no matter who he had to push out of the way to get there... Katsuki "I'm gonna win the sports fest" Bakugou, growing to the point that his goal is now to support Izuku with whatever he needs, and he WILL DEFY DEATH ITSELF TO DO IT...

He knows that Izuku is a heroic kid in an impossible situation...and HE, KATSUKI BAKUGOU, is vowing to help Izuku when he can't take everything himself(though he tries) and refusing to let Izuku carry the burden of OFA alone like AM did. It is SO POETIC.

The progression from simply sitting in on OFA talks to THIS. THIS DECLARATION, that when Izuku needs help in battle, that is KATSUKI BAKUGOU'S JOB.

He also went from "WE will take on what you can't" at the apology to "I'M THE GUY WHO STEPS IN WHEN YOU NEED HELP" (and yes, the others will help and are helping too, but)... Katsuki Bakugou has made it his personal mission.

There is SO MUCH packed into that line, and so much culmination of Katsuki's development, it might be one of my favorite Bakugou things ever.

I think a main reason that the homewreckers/clock duo/impdubs/whatever thing is so funny to me is that both of these middle aged dads just decided to rp a pair of smitten gay newlyweds and just went all in. Fully committed to the bit. They just did that. Traffic!Scott is such a messed up thing, I need to put him on a petri dish.

Think about it. He's incredibly competent but will nerf himself, a pacifist yet will terrorise Joel for a giggle. He craves someone to pour into him so desperately, but continues to appoint himself homemaker and provider. He wants peace and tender love yet his closest alliances include one of the Furies, a red-hooded psychopath¹ and a backstabbing weasel² who doesn't even think Scott's real.

He's the friendliest guy in the server. He's a petulant little bitch. He enjoys getting under people's skin. He's generous and devoted. He's dismissive and callous. He loves pretty things as much as he loves chipping away at people's hearts, one well-aimed arrow at a time. He's a creative force. He's a chaos gremlin. He poisons the well and builds walls full of lava. Because AO3 is that site. Because AO3 was that site long before you decided AO3 was better than the sites you bullied us off of before, and I can promise you if someone somehow comes up with a fanfic site you like better specifically for the 'gross stuff' you'll try to bully us off that too so you can benefit from it.

AO3's specific core purpose is to preserve fanfiction, yes, but it was also instigated as a host site for the fanfiction that kept getting yeeted off other platforms like Wattpad. Its designed to preserve all fanfiction, not just the fanfiction you, personally, think is 'allowed' to be written.

AO3 is the site for all the gross stuff the freaks make. We've been there just as long as you. We've been funding it just as long as you have. AO3 has specifically said you have a place here. The timeline was literally:

Wattpad/FF.net/LiveJournal purge fanfics > AO3 is born > The people who's fics got purged moved over to AO3 > AO3 gains popularity as the best functioning site > The people who pushed for the fics to be purged off Wattpad move to AO3 > The same people try to push for AO3 to purge fics.

AO3's source coding is open-access. You go make a polished, strict, rigid site where nothing 'icky' is allowed. You go make a site where you can control what is hosted. We already have our space.

Had a dream I was gaming so hard during a run of Deltarune that I somehow unlocked all the unreleased chapters even the ones that haven't been made yet and I pulverized through every single enemy just by running into them really fast, making them violently explode into scattered pixels with my sheer force. I was having fun until suddenly the screen went white and a very visibly upset Mario appeared (because I was playing on the switch) and he was sitting on a folding chair with his hands clasped together and he asked me “what the fuck is a-wrong with you”. immediately woke up

Sometimes minecraft roleplay youtube shines as a medium because you get to see the same stories played out from different characters’ perspectives, giving you a more thorough understanding of their motives and thought processes, how narrative style can alter how a story is told, and how conflict can arise and be resolved in a domino esque fashion through seemingly innocuous and unconnected actions taken by multiple characters

Other times it shines because a group of youtubers will get together in a business meeting and one of them will go “hey I am going to place 250k blocks of dirt on top of our colleague’s base as a prank” and the others will have to offer to help because that is so wild none of them want to miss out on the content opportunity, and in doing so they will imply that their character is 100% down to spend an estimated 14 hours - 42 in universe minecraft days - shovelling dirt just to mess with one of their neighbours

okay so the thing is. the thing that escalates this from "annoying thing to do" to "hysterical prank 10/10 what the fuck" is the fact they terraformed it. because like. okay. if they wanted solely to annoy doc, putting a regular layer of some material with a decent explosion resistance over the top of it would do it. doing a flat plane of dirt would do it. you'd see that and go "the mad lads they covered the perimeter up". but they terraformed it. they put in the effort of not only doing hills, but doing minecraft plains biome style hills. they're rolling. they put TREES on it. they made it look like, at first glance, the terrain could have come in that way. it looks good. it took way more effort to make than it will ever, ever take to clean it up. it makes it so that your first instinct on seeing it isn't "oh my god someone put a cap on the perimeter" it's "OH MY GOD, WHERE DID THE PERIMETER GO, WHAT THE FUCK". it's brilliant. it's a work of art. doc is gonna tweet so much about it. 10/10, excellent hermitcraft prankage.
