well- mostly in class... I want to one day be able to make bells at home. These are the best bells I have made so far. 20 gage brass with brass bead clappers inside

I bring you a drawing I once intended to shade and color the lineart but since then haven't finished it. This one has been sitting around for a while so I thought to finally instead post about it.

Here we see Ailbhe and Primrose having a wonderful time on a trip to the ocean. They found a good spot to rest and cuddle under a pine tree together. Ailbhe even made outfits for the occassion!

I bring you another dragon. Her name is Rina and she has been an oc of mine since my childhood. Only now, I have given her a fresh coat of paint. Unsure how often I'll redraw her given how complicated her color scheme is (so a pain to draw). Though, I am not 100% concerned with color consistency. She is a lot of fun to look at for sure! She is friends with Cherry and another dragon named Phoenix. I have yet to draw Phoenix. For the longest time I was unsure how I'd draw her as she has a somewhat unusual design (she was originally a polymer clay creature I made).

As for her nickname... I wanted an excuse to call her Rainbow without using english.

I wanted to show someone how to use a clipping mask for colored lines but was told they are a visual learner. So instead, I drew a guide.

step 1: have 2 layers. This step is not necessary, you can simply do with 1 layer. However, I often will do colored lines when I have color underneath. I tend to use it as a guide so that my lines blend a bit better.

step 2: draw something. You can use an existing drawing you previously made for this. Either way, make sure it has lineart (or not. Just layers that can be messed with).

Step 3: make a new layer above another layer. This is going to likely be above your lineart layer. Now, set it to clipping mask.

Step 4: color in the lines/layer to however you see fit. There you go! You have colored lineart without any of the hassle of cleanup! You can also cleanly merge it.
