- When you first decided to pet xeno initially he’s confused as fuck. You, a mere mortal, was petting him who he considers himself a god like a goddamn dog. Do you not have a death wish? You clearly do if you're doing this to him. But at the same time he can’t really deny that it feels good but knowing xeno there’s no way in hell he’ll admit it. You're not going to get xeno to admit that he enjoys this, he’s too prideful to admit it but I’m pretty sure that it would be so he doesn’t really say anything about it.

- This is probably one of the only times you get to see him like this and only you, no one else. He wouldn’t dare be caught doing this or do it with other people. You're an exception that he’s willing to make. Surprisingly he gets really embarrassed, almost like a child being embarrassed by their parents. But it doesn’t really matter to you, no matter how many times he tells you to stop, you still keep doing it and to be honest he actually kind of impressed that you don’t give up easily and actually praises you for it despite the situation he’s doing it in. On the other hand, if he sees anyone or anything that wants you to do the same to them that you do to him, he immediately gets really jealous. Yes he knows that he may or may not be contradicting himself but you're his, you belong to him you can only do that to him. He demands your attention. It's not his fault that you’ve got him hooked onto you just from a simple movement of your hand. He’s basically the definition of that one cat meme:

- Slight adding in the previous point, sometimes when you do this to him he becomes slightly self conscious. Like sure he likes it and doesn’t necessarily mind you doing it but he kind of feels like he’s not being seen as scary. He likes it when people are afraid of him and when he sees someone who isn’t he doesn’t really know what to do. It surprised you that xeno can even feel self conscious but despite that you still comfort him. You still tell him that he’s great at doing what he is, just because you're doing this doesn’t mean you think he’s weak

- Just like you’ve said in your request when you do this xeno can become very clingy towards you. As soon as you gently scratch him (especially behind the ears) he immediately stops whatever he’s doing and just goes limp. Congrats you’ve managed to get xeno to go limp, you definitely deserve a medal. You’ve got him in your arms, maybe if you're lucky he’s got his arms around you while you're patting his head. Obviously you do ask him beforehand if you can do it, you weren’t about to risk your life all for a head pat. But sometimes if he’s pissed off enough or in a bad mood you don’t even have to ask him. I can imagine him finding you and just grabbing you, taking you somewhere it’s just the two of you and placing your hand on his head.

- Okay can I just say that he definitely purrs when you pat his head or a noise something similar to it. Some sort of noise to indicate he enjoys it. There’s definitely some times where you’ve pointed it out but of course xeno shuts it down immediately acting like you’re hearing things and immediately demands you continue petting him.

ChildHood Nostalgia

Basics: Made an Amanda The Adventurerer Sonic AU titled “Maria the Discoverer” this is like the first post. Might make this a blog ngl.

“Won’t you help the lonely kitten? I am out there. Out there SOMEWHERE” 

Emerald eyes nervously scan over the VHS tape. A deep inhale. He could do this. Sure it had been years since he’d thought of touching one of these cursed things again but. Uncle Chuck died before the investigation was finished. Before they could figure it all out. 

A theory board sits off to the side, covered in letters, photos, and red string. Sonic looks over at the board. Eyes landing onto 5 specific photos. 

His younger brother, Tails. Who went missing years ago while watching a tape of this show. 

His sister and brother, Sonia and Manic. Who were found in a ditch down the road of the studio producing this show.

And finally. The two mascots. Siblings themselves. Shadow and Maria. Sonic’s grip tightens on the VHS. 

“Maria The Discoverer - Baking With Friends” It was written on the spine of the tape in big, bold, golden letters. A little worn down but obviously in good condition. 

He was afraid. Afraid to put the tape into the TV. Afraid to see and speak to the faces of two people who he used to know and held so closely to his heart. Gerald had the right idea making this show, it only went downhill when it was animated after all. 

Stupid. This was stupid. Steeling his nerves, Sonic puts the VHS into the TV. A familiar logo and tune start. Ear twitching, he watches the characters appear on the screen. For a second, just a second though. It seemed the duo halted, like they were surprised, like they were seeing someone they hadn’t expected. As quick as it came though they pop back into full character. Sonic blinks slowly. Must have been his imagination.

“Hi there! I’m Maria!” Perky, just how he remembered her voice.

“And I’m Shadow.” Sonic suppresses a snort. Shadow was such a character, huh? He missed them so much. His tail wags slightly as he watches through the tape. Sighing softly. 

He hadn’t realized when the tears started, but once again it seemed the duo halted at that. There’s a silence before they continue again.

“You know what pie is good for Shadow? Cheering people up! Especially with ice cream on top. That’s the best kind of pick me up treat!”

The hedgehog nods in agreement.

“Mhm. Apple pie with a good serving of vanilla ice cream can lighten any mood.”

Sonic slowly wipes his tears. A head tilt with a smile. Huh. This show really did speak to him, huh? 

These pauses were a little frequent, huh? But as quick as they came it stopped. Maybe it was just buffering a bit. It was raining outside, after all. The blue hedgehog smiles softly, sighing and just watching the tape, until he eventually dozes off. 

“….. Goodnight, Sonic.”

“Nice to see your face again, old friend”

And then the VHS tape ends, sliding out the TV.

Took My Wallet (A Stobotnik Fic Pt1)

I wrote a series of Stobotnik One shots that at this point flow into a story so uh here you go.

For basic context this is an AU where Stone and Eggman are childhood friends!

Stone talks in Blue

Eggman in Red

♡ "What's the softest way to say,

After graduation Stone had said something the Ivo honestly should have expected. And yet it still caused the now no longer high school student to process.

"Ivo. I'm a guy." 

No not that. That's not the right thing!!!! But it is funny. Not the point! Anyway. 

"Yeah. I've been thinking about going to college. And I got accepted! It's pretty far out though. Like 15 hours by car? But it's got a pretty great curriculum and has what I want to major in!" 

Baffled.  Ivo stands there for a moment. Others chatting loudly and their parents congratulating them, some just enjoying the other's presence. And some rough housing like normal. 15 hours. That meant that they-

I mean. He would live. Would just be really bumming to know he wouldn't be able to see the other often, if ever during the next couple years. 

"But hey. I promise to write to ya. Ok?" Ivo stops, before chuckling. 

"Alright. Good luck then, Stone."

"You too, Ivo. Now c'mon! The night isn't over yet. And I'm not gone for another week! So let's make the most of it." 

And that was true.  

Though the week went by faster than Ivo would ever like to admit. But. They promised each other to write.

Weekly.

Every week, same time, letters would be mailed. And if they missed a day that was made up by being sent later. 

A specific letter that always stuck out to the young Robotnik was this one in particular. At least certain lines.

'I miss talking to you in person.  Everyone else seems so much less intelligent without you around. It's kind of infuriating. '

Which was a fair assessment. No one could truly match his intelligence.  But the other one.

'Exams are coming up so I probably won't be able to write to you as often as I'd like. Sorry Doctor. I promise to make it up to you. I love you <3' 

Doctor. I love you. Odd choice words considering. The last one was certainly new within their messages. Ivo leans back into his chair, spinning around in it. 

What he wasn't expecting was for the letters to stop altogether. The first 3 weeks he brushed under the rug. By the time 4, 5, and 6 went by he found himself worried. Stone couldn't have forgotten,  right? Surely everything was… ok.

It wasn't like their Junior year. It wasn't. Stone was fine. Maybe the letters just got lost in the mail. Incompetence was common within mailing. 

Still. He couldn't help but feel uneasy.

Weeks turned into months. And before he realized it. 4 years had gone by. 4 years, 5 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, and 14 hours. 

Why had he still been counting, anyhow? What was the point? Stone hadn't sent him a trace to know if he was alive or not. So why keep counting? Every second that ticked by, every minute, hour, day, week- he was still waiting. This was silly. Even when he pondered his orb something would nag at him.

Why did Stone leave?

Shadow the hedgehog. A seemingly edgelord on the surface but truthfully a traumatized introvert. He simply stands on the planes of green hills. A tired sigh escaping the ebony hog as the breeze blows through his quills. The sound of quick footsteps skidding to a stop next to him cause the red and black hedgehog to glance over. Scowl slightly on his face that only lightly softens as he realizes who it is.

Sonic. The blue blur waves with some energy as he grins at the other.

"Hey Shads! Howzit going?" Shadow does an eye roll, shaking his head and looking towards the slight sunset.

"It's going fine, faker. What brings you here?" The blue hedgehog bounces on his feet, smile wide.

"Eh ya know me. Always getting some fresh air in with a good run. Speaking of which. Wanna race?" Shadow turns to the other with a blank expression. Before cracking a small smile that looked more like a smirk than anything.

"Sure. Gives me another chance to absolutely humiliate you." The two hogs share a glance before chuckling. Sonic holds up 3 fingers. Lowering them slowly. Both hedgehogs crouching into a running position and taking off at 1.

There was no fighting, just leisurely running and dodging of obstacles every now and then.

"Ya doing good there, Shads?"

"Just fine, Sonic!"

"Great! Let's step it up some then!" A slight increase in speed as the duo zoom around the zone. Loud, wild laughter from Sonic as Shadow cracks a grin with a soft chuckle. This was truly fun.

But. Something's started to be amiss with their run. Was Sonic getting faster? Shadow frowns. Struggling to keep up with the other. Sonic turns back and laughs softly.

"C'mon Shads! You can do better than that!" Shadow growls lightly in frustration. The blue blur getting farther away from him. To a very concerning extent. Shadow seems to falter iin his normal demeanor. Becoming almost worried to an extent.

"Sonic! Slow down!" He hated having to call after with that of all things. But sonic was getting far ahead. The world around them slowly shifts. Shadow growing more worried, though attempting to stay calm.

The area was no longer colorful like how green hills normally is. Instead the plant life looked rather dead. Dull grey. The sky grew dark before being illuminated with oranges, yellows, and reds. Fire shades. Eventually Sonic comes to a halt. Shadow finally catching up, being only a few feet away. Sonic doesn't mind the world looking very off. Almost like he didn't acknowledge the shift at all.

"S-Sonic.. Jeez Faker. When did you-"

"Shads?" The sudden cut off causes the ebony hedgehog to freeze. Sonic turning back to the other with a grin. A strained one that felt too familiar.

"You know I care about you. Right?" Where was this going? Why was this so sudden?

"Sonic? I. Of course. I care about you as well but what does this have to-" The words getting caught in his throat. Was it getting warmer in here? Sonic's grin trembles as tears prick the hedgehog's eyes. The fire rises, slowly surrounding the two.

"Sayonara. Shadow the Hedgehog." Shadow's eyes widen. As the fire comes closer a robotic figure comes into view. It looked awfully like Sonic but with a grey color as a base instead of the bright blue color like the hedgehog. The robot was massive as well. It grabbed Sonic rather harshly. Shadow reaching out as panicked words die in his throat. The robot would be smiling if it could as its chest plate opens, reveling a furnace type cavern. The blue blur being shoved in.

"SONIC-"

There were screams, defeaningly so. And the smell was horrible. Absolutely revolting. The smell of burning fur, cooking flesh. Shadow covers his muzzle. Sinking to his knees. Not real. This couldn't be real-

Shadow sits up abruptly. Choked sob escaping his body. Another one. He thought he'd have gotten over these. But just like Maria's death. It was still so fresh. He couldn't save Sonic if he tried, he knew that much. But the guilt ate at him. Long time rival that became a friend- maybe more. Gone like that. And it hurt to remember.

Shakily the ebony hog touches his cheek. The bite mark still there, the fur never quite managed to heal over it and left a bite shaped scar. He grimaces through the hot tears. Maria.

Fucking. He hated the memories. Of that awful game. Maria would never hurt him. But the one of her he met back then.

The one who used the falling mobians for food of all things. He hated that corpse that wore her face. Maria was a saint that wouldn't hurt a soul. Shadow sighs.

Sonic would have liked her more than that phoney. The door to his room opens as Amy peers in with concern in her eyes. Holding a mug of warm milk and one of hot chocolate she comes and sits next to the shaking hedgehog.

Shadow hadn't even registered his body shaking.

He should really stop sleeping to pass time since he didn't need any.

"Shadow?" His name being called snaps him out of his thoughts, turning to Amy who offers the milk.

"I heard you... sobbing. Did you. Want to talk about it?" He shakes his head. She knew it was more of a 'not atm' rather than a 'I don't'so she didn't push. Shadow holds the mug in his hands. Mumbling an apology under his breath.

"It's ok. I'm not mad. You're still recovering and grieving after all." How was she so understanding? He wouldn't know. For now he just sits. Letting Amy sit next to him as they sat in silence.

MKB is an odd entity that roams the digital and outside realm. She chooses the form of a similar yet not quite look of Amy Rose. Mostly for representation of a strong, slightly mature female character. Even though Amy is a bit childish. She is very protective of children and often will give young people that met an untimely death a second chance. She’s HIGHLY weary of adults.

She has a secondary form, reserved only for when dangerous threats enter her domain to harm the ones she keeps. This form compared to her normal- which is around 3’4- towers over most at 20 feet. It’s a large, almost indescribable mass but also looks like a giant wolf crossed with a hedgehog. She takes this form to fend off any threats.
