thoughts while rewatching rvb season 17 of course none of this really matters because the retcon but whatever

-Honestly not having church back feels like a missed opportunity. -So Donut part Ai now cause Chrovos save him? Okay. -Despite everything Donut still hasn't forgotten he's almost died. -I still don't think it was a good idea for Chrovos to tell Donut how to fix things but at least they explain it. -Doctor Grey commits insurance fraud -Wash please don't explain in front of the enemy -God 17 is so cringe -stop with the speeches and get on with it -Genkins pretending to be Epsilon is so mean, I need more angst fics -Wash having to shot Donut over and over

Time travel doesn't help with Wash's character disconnect, nor with setting up the tragedy of project freelancer. They make so many chances and then turn around and do fuck all with it. I get Carolina but Maine has the bruteshot they should be "friends" by now. Nor should Wash be so low on the leader board. I cannot believe that Wash was ever 'forgot to pull the pin out of the grenade' bad in freelancer.

-Time travel and they still don't show the Dinos vs Robots fight :( -Caboose is the first one to get it again - They literally had a whole Wash bounces back bit, but sure Carolina the one who survives things that would have broke most people (shaking my head) - I seriously just have god I hate this god I hate this in the notes -yay Doc help's Donut -Donut say pink instead of lightish red around 1:13, but he couldn't keep it since it's noncanon -'Church this will make much more sense if you go to bed'

I think Tucker moment to fix time would have been more gut punching if it was the point where he toss Felix the grenade. They could still have Genkins temp him, it would be fixing his mistake in trusting Felix, making it so much harder for him. But nooo they can't take the chances that they fucking made.

-Nice job breaking it hero/ fixing it villain, Donut giving Genkins the push to betray Chrovos first. -So much shipping fuel 'if he's single there's no hope for us' 'everybody out I'm gonna fuck him!'

The fear thing was another missed opportunity. They could have done so much more and better. It Should have gotten more time instead. I mean Sarge loves violence, he betray the team for war, expending on the office bit would have been more interesting. Him having face that he is tried and still not being able to handle it. Grif's is exercise really? And Simmons's is a Joke.

-I get the pride thing but come on we shit to do Carolina, and they ended up helping anyway! Didn't something like this already happen? but it was Tex? Twice!? -They should have saved the budget for a Chrovos and/or Genkins fight - the ending was kinda mehh, being retcon twice doesn't help

I used to find it strange that Megaman (the net navi) was afraid of ghost. Like you're a program in a computer connect to the internet, you know it's fake. How would old ghosts even get in there?

seriously Locus? you have Wash pinned! A whole lotta not just shooting them going on here.

Why did Wash, Carolina or Epsilon leave without making sure they were dead especially after what happen with Sharkface? Why did Locus and Felix leave without making sure the Temple wasn't working anymore?

Why are they acting like this is a big deal for r&bs they fought the Meta with less people and they went in not knowing any freelancers would be one their side. Not to mention the army of Texases, who was also someone they had never really won against. Which they only hesitated because Epsilon snapped at them and Carolina was an extra Actually they've had more victories against Felix at that point using his known faults against him and Tucker went one on one. But now their worried and need a pep talk?

Santa I thought you said you couldn't meddle? Why r u Meddling? Honestly a better twist would have been despite having the sword Santa wouldn't let them have accesses to the Temple cause he was made to keep the Tech away from people like them. It would have been Santa getting in the way without breaking the not interfering rule, That he totally breaks here and in the future acting as Kimball A.I.

Why did you give Felix your gun Locus? That was so Dumb

While funny I don't really like what they they did to Caboose he was one of the better fighter dealing with Zealots and Texbots almost solo to having Freckles control everything. Probably why we don't see Freckles again after this season.

Why didn't they see that coming? What would the Chairman have to loose at that point. Why didn't the Chairman just nuke 'em at that point? If wanted despair what could they really do about a nuke?

This is so dumb

FLISS hating the chairman is pretty funny. It's also neat to see Epsilon anger at memory Texas's helmet being kept as a trophy

For all the problems there is only really one thing to say about that ending

thoughts while rewatching rvb season 13

i've been avoiding this probs gonna put it in multi parts

I'm glad the two armies of chorus didn't suddenly become friends after last season

Why didn't Sharkface stay to make sure they died, I guess the key was more important but they still ha control of the communications mostly so I argue it made more sense to not let them fully explain. None of that would have matter if Felix and Locus hadn't fuck off for no reason

The downfall of the chorus trilogy too many plot holes and bad use of tropes

Same villains can't get it so they wait for the heroes to, why didn't Santa said anything. Hell the team didn't even ask about the purge so the mercs would have had nothing but defense. And you can't say Santa couldn't interfere it his job to keep the relics out of unworthy hands and despite what he says he get in controls way later anyway! And you can't said Santa didn't know they were there he was just testing them! Too many decisions made cause the plot demands so

They said they chose jokes over plot but the biggest problems this arc has is from the story choices

Ah, the start of the reds and blues just standing in a line or v shape. They're not even talking it's like they didn't know what to do with all of them. Yes I'm aware this has happen before but rvb has always had a large cast and these seasons and onwards where it starts getting really noticeable. Questioning starts, and it becomes a problem

thoughts while rewatching rvb season 16

I was so hyped for pizza quest when it first came out, why did they have to do all this god and time travel stuff? I type gods first cause rvb has handle time travel well before so it really the gods when they Jump the shark. Hell it could have been the shit going on Chorus they never got back to, have them force Locus to come, it would be super awkward

Tucker had sex with entire planet and knowing sister I don't buy they they hadn't fucked. Why is he acting like this? He should be more excited about clubs if this is the route they're going rather than hung up on sister. Did they just bring sister back to drag Tucker down? His experiences changing him would have made more sense while Sister not changing nearly as much and him freaking out over his change. Like not being able to relax with Sister focus more on his mistakes. Like they did reverse of what should have logically happen.

God they're too hard on Doc? an then he goes evil out of nowhere

Cursed firewall?! foreshadowing

The cyclops is when I lost hope of the writers turning this around. I think I remember someone saying if they had stuck to the time loops it would have been okay, but disagree the inclusion of the "Gods" and light beings fuck it up

Wash's story line is of course heartbreaking. I actually can tolerate Carolina here, but it ain't her story & they don't make about her.

Jax is more entertaining this season

Carolina doesn't have a personality so they gave her Wash's

The whole speech for Huggins death was over done, she was barely there and skipped over

After the reveal this Gods stuff become even more dumb in hindsight

Genkins might be name after Jenkins the new character who show up the most in alternate universes roosterteeth show. Well before season 14

Doc and Donut fight scene is way better than what I had remember. Unlike season 1 to 13 I've only watch this once

It's like they're afraid of their own characters, They basically drop Dylan after beginning when she was playing Wash's role in S6. Why could they have started with r&bs vacation and have the blues and reds be a cliff hanger? It could have been like Chorus trilogy not a master piece by any means but still rewatchable & good if you can turn off your brain

Hidding the flag is actually low key a good idea.

And the answer to earlier question is they were still testing halo4 armor during project freelancer so the director did have his hand in it

Tex, Carolina, you have guns, why aren't you using them?

These matrix commercial I have seen with the zero cast is not making me look forward to watching either

Are they trying to say the past is a villain?

This is the most fun I've seen Lopez have. Well, I guess he did say he wanted them to shoot him into space earlier.

Fuck, Locus has more convincing character development then Carolina, and he has barely any screen time compare to you. Stop asking him question your just making yourself sound stupid

Fuck them and there Carolina worship. She was susposeily the badass while Wash was the cockharch. He should having been able to handle it better. I think they only did it to Wash cause they couldn't write Carolina like that. And no one would have care nearly as much

I dislike how they made the blues and reds plus Zealots racist Nazi & (insert anything you'd think is bad here) in the end. Removing all depth they might have, so Carolina wouldn't angst about later, since 10 season in self defense is no longer good enough sometimes unless the freelancer says so. Like a last minute fix cause they realize they punching down not up, even though cool motive still murder would have worked better

Dylan monolog feels like it' missing context and an arc about putting family before work (*but that what Temple was doing?); Kimball did the same speech but way better.

*Well before the rush character assassination. What should have been a slower descend into madness from grief to be consumed by revenge showing what would have happen if don't let go. Turn into suddenly a different character who is a coward who can put others before themselves. Not the type of person who would go to war for a fallen friend. It would made more sense if they reveled it was actually he felt entitle to more reimbursements, and just using Biff story to manipulate the others while hiding they're. And the real fight would have been to try to save the simulation troopers from the deception

At least you can blame Jax for being a bad story teller if you want, like there saying the change in humor is because of him telling it.

thoughts while rewatching season 15

It looks like they uploaded a bad copy for season 15 it has a lot of weird glitches. I don't have copies beyond season 10 so it will have to do.

I prefer the original camera guy Frank to Jax

a feeling I get a lot this season is how it could have worked, like it could have been interesting

Jax is Tv tropes, and it might have worked if it was just him

I've said this before S9 but I'll says it again I'd rather have seen the vacation than this reporter stuff it could have defiantly been it own season. The finally could have been the robots vs Dinosaurs. You can't tell me that wouldn't have been cool. The recap is the best part of this season

They summaries the attacks, they recap what the reds&blues were doing, They speed run though Temple motives. I get that it turns out this was just Jax retelling but still for the season obsessed with movies they don't understand show not tell

Who has the idiot ball? Carolina or the r&bs? Temple does have a point we're told earlier that the press doesn't care & the government hasn't done shit for the sims troopers. Even the most famous ones (the blood crew) still haven't been sent home from their fake war

How did Wash not notice the armor corpses? or hippy peace no shoot Carolina? Carolina why did you put away your guns? Just shoot him! You know like you did with did with Sharkface? WASH

Everything we know about Temple Tell me that he totally would have monolog to Carolina the person who KILL Biff about his past. Though he and others suddenly became different characters in the last few minutes so maybe he just forgot his personality, maybe Carolina stole it so we wouldn't her blandness

This could have worked if given more time. As it is it feels rushed yet dragged out.
