A living, breathing finish.
Brass is an incredible alloy. When left unlacquered, it evolves and reacts to our touch and the air we breathe, aging alongside us. I designed these brass mushroom lamps to act like living organisms, with an ever changing patinated finish and hand bent stalks, making each one an irreplicable 1-of-1 piece just like us.

You’re about to feel all warm and fuzzy cause I started making my solid brass mushroom lamps into table lamps. The raw patina will evolve over time as you interact with it, with patches of opalescent blue and purple reflections that make it just as moody during the day. Made to order, and since I patina them and bend the stems by hand, each one is unique.

Brought another space from my home world to New York for Apartment Therapy’s Small/Cool NYC 2023. Clad in brass chains and ebonized wood, this stoop is so grand that you not only want to peek through the keyhole, you want to saunter through it. You can darken this doorstep in person at Industry City ‘til the end of the month.

Made a bunch of these spike ball lamp prototypes. The long polymer chain is super lightweight so you can actually swing them around (but don’t do that)

Little promo I had made to announce my pop-up office. Was a real challenge to shoot this entire thing by myself with programmable sliders and timers ☠️

Some shots of my office pop-up in Sunnyslope. This space was such a challenge to put together and involved so many custom details and learning opportunities.

Imported these rare 1930s Otto Schulz for BOET nightstands from Sweden and restored them. The original wood inlay ‘intarsia’ knobs were missing, so I had some custom ones made that are a little more in brand. These things are built like tanks.

I was making a clear smoked whiskey sour a lot one year and decided to do a little photoshoot for it. Complete with polka dot bitters in the foam.

Very few would say a 1997 GE fridge is the star of their kitchen design. I made this abominable thing cool again with some custom designed wheatpasted wallpaper and solid brass hardware. Y’all, go wallpaper your fridge already.

This antique iron vanity chair from France has been remixed with a blend of provincial and industrial aesthetics. The fully custom chainlink upholstery was designed to fit perfectly along the refinished frame. The curule legs are contrasted by the rigid ebonized square iron frame with petite worn gilded copper finials.
