I'm enrolled in a pretty intense degree and don't have a lot of time and energy to stream currently, but winter break is just one week away! I've missed streaming, so I might break out the camera and pegboards again soon if anyone is interested in a stream 😉 I have a few new colors that I haven't had the chance to play with yet!

I want to buy more perler beads but it’s so expensive if I’m buying many colors. Are there any places that sell them for cheap?

If you're just starting out and not sure if you want to dedicate a lot of money to the art, I'd start by buying the mixed color buckets of beads! They have a large variety of colors to play with so you can see if you like it 😊

If you want to just buy solo bags, check your local JoAnn's for sales on perler beads! They'll sometimes have them for 50% off, or you can use coupons! If you're buying a LOT, I'd go directly through Perler's website. The price per bag drops depending on how many bags you buy 😊

Shop update!

With the huge hike in fees on Etsy's end, I've been looking around at a lot of different websites to try selling on with little success 😞

If you guys have any suggestions for online store websites, I'd love to hear them! 😃 If I can't find an alternative within the next couple of weeks, I'll be reopening with Etsy!

On a slightly more exciting note, 95% of my stock has sold, leaving me with very little to photograph! I've changed a good bit of my setup in the last few weeks, including my picture backgrounds! You know what that means?

Whew! I'm finally home!

Now that I'm back in front of my own computer (and perler beads!), I can work on the ideas I've got buzzing around in my head! 😁

I've been thinking a lot about filming another timelapse; Overwatch seems to be flitting around in my head a good bit 😉

My new workstation/streaming setup!

I built a computer in March and my monitors have just been sitting on my bead boxes since then, but I installed a wall mounted shelf (that matches my desk EXTREMELY well somehow???) and my space seems so much more organized and pretty~

Hey guys! It's been a hot minute since I was active on here; I'm sorry about that!

With Etsy's new policies and life beating my family with a baseball bat, it's been difficult to keep up with all my social medias 😭

This point gets brought up often, so I figured I’d answer 😊

A lot of times, people will take pictures or video without asking first, even if the artist has signs on their table asking that they, and their merchandise, not be photographed.

On the other hand, some artists are okay with photographs and just request that they not be posted. After all, some fans may just want to get a quick picture with their favorite artist!

In any case, if someone asks you to not post a picture of them, it’d be rude to go against their wishes and post it anyways even if there is no ill-intent.

Tl;dr not every artist says "yes" to photos, and no matter the circumstances, if someone asks for their pictures to not be posted, you should respect their request 😊
