2022 Art Fight attacks!! Part 1 of 4 

Nine-Tailed Assassin (for Flyingcornchips) An incredibly ambitious first attack! Guys- I like- never do backgrounds. Still surprised I didn’t burn out on the spot. But yes, LOVE Tanya and the concept of her character. 

Cool Yet Cozy (for Neko707) Much more in my comfort zone! Designed an outfit for this adorable cat lady, Cara, based on red hues. Love her. Would hug. 

Team Dark (for alan900900900 / @alan900900900) These Pokémon gijinkas are from an Alpha-Sapphire Nuzlocke run?? and I love them so much?? This dude made this awesome mass attack last year including my Poochyena gijinka Zaria (not posted here yet) and I was delighted to see we were on opposite teams this year. Attack I must!

Finally finally finally got this one out of my sketchbook and into color! Here’s my Gold Elemental magical girl! Went with an ancient Egyptian theme because they used to use gold for pretty much everything! 

I had another art block at the end of June, but I got revitalized just in time for Art Fight! Nearly all Elementals I’ve posted here are also on my page! I’ll see you there!

Magical Girl Neon concepts~ 

I thought a neon magical girl based on neon signs and whose costume glowed certain colors depending on which of her teammates she fought alongside would’ve been a perfect idea, except that,  1) actually, neon signs rarely contain actual neon (only red ones do?), and 2) neon is a noble gas, meaning that it can’t(?) bond with other elements.  

So I guess her costume can glow red while she uses her powers… 

…but I’m still giving her glow bracelets and light-up shoes for her civilian form-

Hi– I’m back with another periodic table element inspired magical girl– 

Hydrogen was one of the first magical girls I started brainstorming for when I first thought of this “story” like- what- 12 years ago? Her design’s changed pretty drastically over time. 

The design on the left is “canon” now, but I like the little cape too much to drop it entirely….

Both these girls are in very early development stages; I need to learn more about copper as an element and I’m trying to nail down a silhouette for Nitrogen so I can start design drafts.

mario and luigi are literally one of the best sibling duos in existence and no i will not listen to criticism.

mario loves luigi so much. he's chosen luigi over treasure, says thank you everytime the younger saves him from king boo, in one of the attacks of dreamy bowser he attacks the airship to protect luigi, have you HEARD his voice lines when luigi falls in the m&l rpgs??? does NOT sound like the voice of someone who's abusive, forgets his brother behind, or whatever people try to say

luigi admires mario so much. his wish on star road in smrpg is "i want to become a great plumber like my brother mario", luigi has faced his greatest fear three times just to save his brother, the entirety of dream team is honestly just luigi being a mario fanboy, he doesn't hate mario he admires him

if you try to pull that "bUt mArIo stEppeD oN luIgiS fOOt" crap on me your opinion is immediately fucking invalid shut the fuck up. mario and luigi are siblings. siblings fuck with each other. and besides, these teasing moments between mario and luigi are honestly far and few between. in melee luigi stepped on mario's head. in mario bros 3 (iirc) he kicked a shell at mario. they're siblings, and they barely mess with each other anyway.

the m&l games immediately disprove all "they hate each other" theories. they scream out for each other when the other falls, they carry their unconscious brother to keep them safe, the HUGS. the HUGS

luigis mansion also immediately disproves those theories and i hope i don't have to elaborate on that

mario and luigi deserve better, they're an amazing duo and im tired of people putting them against each other. stop. they're better together, please stop making them fight
