you met your seventh heaven in the silken embrace of his white and soft-feathered wings.

with a gentle sigh, you tilt your head back against your angelic lover’s chest. simeon pauses for half a second before pressing yet another kiss into your bare shoulder, nearly bashful as if your gaze on him spoiled your united solace this evening.

“what?” you whisper, a barely veiled laugh on the same breath. “did i ruin everything?”

simeon smiles then, that dazzling one of his that never failed to remind you of his divine nature. he’s quick to thread a hand through your hair with a small shake of his head and an amused sigh. “you could never ruin anything for me.”

your nose scrunches up as you regard his sick-sweet remark and your fingers move to trace his jawline. “then… what is it?”

“i am-" the angel pauses and closes his bright-blue eyes, "i’m just not accustomed to acquiesce or even feel the love of another being. especially not anything this veraciously. the celestial realm’s rules are… strict and relatively unbending, to say the least.”

he notices the way your face slowly molds into a look of dejection, not from his stunted expressions of affection but rather of the way his realm’s principles bound him. “i- i apologize, mc. i am still working around these rules so i can stay here with you an-"

you brush your finger across his petal-soft lips and frown for a moment. "sims, you're here for me. you chose me. and to anyone with eyes, that is all that matters,"

"and even if we find a way off of the celestial realm's leash, i will love you now. and i will love you then."

simeon doesn't respond and instead pulls you further into his arms and winged cocoon, shutting his eyes and hiding his face in your shoulder. it didn't matter for you knew exactly what he meant: he loved you too.
