It’s Friday everyone! 😁😱How was your week? Any fun plans this weekend?🌤 My week has been….interesting. I start most mornings preparing myself for the day, because I know that it’s gonna be a hard one. But not the kind of hard that makes waking up that morning not worth it. Waking up every morning is a blessing to me. ☀️ ......... Everyday is a constant battle that I’m fighting, I start overthinking what I’m doing and what I’m not doing and what I should be doing. When I start feeling defeated because things aren’t panning out as I thought they would I start panicking and telling myself I’m not doing anything with my life. I knock myself down and continue to feed negative thoughts to myself. “ What if you don’t make it? What if you’re not important? You aren’t doing anything important. Look what you’ve done. You aren’t special. You don’t work hard enough. You can’t be better than this. You’ll always be stuck.” ............. Part of me wants to feel like a failure, part of me is even comfortable with that. I’m actually really good at being sad and I’m even better at sulking. I’ve been that person for most of my life and I’ve also been the person the rises up and conquers. My life has been a never ending battle with self-doubt and depression. It is a legit roller coaster of emotion. I’m at the top and enjoying the ride and even striving to help others change their lives and at full speed I’m knocked back down again. ....... Do you want to know what the crazy part is? Whether its the universe or myself knocking me down,I still manage pick myself back up. Again and again. It didn’t and still doesn’t matter how insecure or miserable I feel, I never stop believing in myself. I never give up. ......... So know this, whatever struggle you face. It won’t be the last one. Because if it was, that means you’ve stopped fighting. You've been fighting all this time because you know there is more for you. You BELIEVE that there is something worth fighting for. But what most of us don’t realize is that the “more” we are fighting for is actually ourselves. ITS YOU. I swear this dog is such a dummy 😂 But since moving across town he keeps me company every once in awhile 🙂 YES, it's true. I get lonely, ALOT. Way more than I want to be, but I can't help it. For the first time ever I've been away from EVERYTHING and EVERYONE I know (minus my sister, thanks for the spare bedroom 😝) I used to see my dad almost every day, all of my friends and boyfriend lived down the street from me and my favorite hang out spots were just around the corner. It hasn't been easy dealing but I feel like today was a good day. I didn't want to do it today but I listened to myself and took my own advice. ........ That advice being that loneliness is just a temporary feeling. To feel lonely and actually be alone are two very different things. If you are feeling lonely reach out, go for a walk or swim with the dog like I did! As most of you know, I’ve been struggling recently. Going through some big changes in my life and feeling a bit lonely at times. I’ve been feeling better the last few days, just keeping my head high and learning to trust in myself and in the universe. ........ My happiness is the one thing I cherish most in this world. And over the years I’ve learnt that there are a few things I’m constantly doing that block me from my happiness. Such as : * Submitting To My Fears Ex: I have a tendency to not work hard for the things I want in fear that I might not make it. But how will I really know if I NEVER tried? * Living On Autopilot Ex: Living in a pattern or lifestyle that does not serve you such as working too much or in my case, not working at all. * Not Taking Action Ex: For myself this looks like the list of video ideas I have but have never put to action. If you have a goal, plan it out step by step and get started! Our happiness starts with the mindset! Be aware of any bad habits that may be controlling your happiness. I decided to spend some time in the pool for this pic but I’m not sure if I love or hate it 📸 Love because the pool was amazing and my swimsuit is super cute but hate because of my back fat 😖 I try not to be self-conscious about my body because aint nobody got time for that negativity. BUT. I will admit. There is a list of things I would tell you I don’t like if you asked. Over the years I have learned to love myself and in doing that comes the acceptance of who I am. But I’ve become TOO accepting, never pushing myself for more and always settling for what I have. And do you know why? Because admitting that YOU NEED HELP, or that YOU’RE NOT HAPPY with yourself is REALLY hard. So in saying that, I encourage you all to step out of your comfort zone. If you don’t like something, fix it. Don’t settle because it might be too hard or because your pride is too big. Always strive for better.
