anywho, ‘tis the homeworld of the Aenarhi - Tsetah, as well as her parent-gas giant Alevann and it’s second moon Laene, with the orange K-class star Aikka and blue mists of the Forbidden Gardens nebulae in the background. and i just noticed that i totally forgot Tseta’s rings… oh well, all the more reasons to practise more space drawing.

quick sketch before bed, including all 10 species (minus the humans, the synths and the “mysterious extinct ancients”) from my lil’ sci-fi project-thingy. these are:

Tebbran - the best diplomats, politicians and bureaucrats of the Galaxy from their always-changing-it’s-leaders Union of the Confederate Stars. They say that every empire that wishes to survive on the arena of galactic politics will dump half of its paperwork onto Tebbran lawyers.

Naevos - the best artisans and poets ever who named their empire… Oceans of Dreams. They are the forever suffering creator’s block poor souls, but boy do they know how to make thing pretty.

Lapion - the best craftsmen, who are never afraid to get their hands dirty, standing proud under the Galactic Guilds Alliance. Have been in a mutually beneficial relationship with the catfolk, who make sure their partners get well paid for their crafts. And I mean really well paid.

Oloon - the most spiritual of them all, who fanatically protect their Holy Assembly and her leaders like they were gods. Despite being the alien incarnation of the Spanish Inquisition, are actually kinda cool with everybody… as long as their religious passion is well respected and accepted.

Ram’Shanee - they have wares if you have credits! They are the ones who established universal galactic currency and basically built the entirety of galactic economics. They are proud members of the Uniform Consortium and will ruin your entire economics if you don’t treat their Lapion partners kindly.

Az’Zhar - the only surviving ancient empire, which was established hundreds of thousands of years before any of the other species even reached the space age, is the Great Protectorate. These giant hive-minded arachnids prefer to mind their own business, though every millennia or so they tend to just disappear into seemingly thin air, only to re-appear a century or so later like nothing happened. Why this happens, they, of course, will not tell anybody…

Aenarhi - the very first of these species to achieve FTL technology, they are the most influential of them all. The Interstellar Dominion, a galactic-wide union which includes all ten of these species, was established by them in order to protect every species’ freedom and propagate multi-cultural exchange. Basically, they’re the biggest player on the arena of galactic politics and you better befriend them for your own sake… luckily, it’s as easy as saying “hi!”.

Nuah - extreme pacifists, who posses unique abilities regarding any sort of plantlife and thus are extremely valued as botanists and terraformers all across the Galaxy. Even the name of their empire - Eternal Bloom - speaks of what they’re best at. They are mostly beloved by the Aenarhi and they will throw bombs at anyone who screws with their flower buddies (and that’s saying something, ‘cuz they’re pacifistic AF).

Khogarr - their Triumvirate of Great Warclans caused a lot of stir in the Galaxy and even centuries later their relationship with the Dominion was anything but peaceful. They are, however, the best thing to put between yourself and any sort of mortal danger - they will be just glad to kill something.

Jeradh - honor, discipline, patriotism and loyalty to the allies - these are the most important things to any Jeradhian citizen from the United Empire, which is known for being a home to the best soldiers, bodyguards and enforcers in all of the Galaxy. Also… Best. Sports players. Ever.
