Okay-
Well each of the havoc and homework characters have their own QNA blogs? [ Just wanted to ask because this idea came into my mind. ]
I’ve been thinking about it, but I don’t know if anyone would be interested or how it would be organized
I’d be open to some feedback on this :>

Once a little boy went to school. One morning The teacher said: “Today we are going to make a picture.” “Good!” thought the little boy. He liked to make all kinds; Lions and tigers, Chickens and cows, Trains and boats; And he took out his box of crayons And began to draw.
But the teacher said, “Wait!” “It is not time to begin!” And she waited until everyone looked ready. “Now,” said the teacher, “We are going to make flowers.” “Good!” thought the little boy, He liked to make beautiful ones With his pink and orange and blue crayons. But the teacher said “Wait!” “And I will show you how.” And it was red, with a green stem. “There,” said the teacher, “Now you may begin.”
The little boy looked at his teacher’s flower Then he looked at his own flower. He liked his flower better than the teacher’s But he did not say this. He just turned his paper over, And made a flower like the teacher’s. It was red, with a green stem.
On another day The teacher said: “Today we are going to make something with clay.” “Good!” thought the little boy; He liked clay. He could make all kinds of things with clay: Snakes and snowmen, Elephants and mice, Cars and trucks And he began to pull and pinch His ball of clay.
But the teacher said, “Wait!” “It is not time to begin!” And she waited until everyone looked ready. “Now,” said the teacher, “We are going to make a dish.” “Good!” thought the little boy, He liked to make dishes. And he began to make some That were all shapes and sizes.
But the teacher said “Wait!” “And I will show you how.” And she showed everyone how to make One deep dish. “There,” said the teacher, “Now you may begin.”
The little boy looked at the teacher’s dish; Then he looked at his own. He liked his better than the teacher’s But he did not say this. He just rolled his clay into a big ball again And made a dish like the teacher’s. It was a deep dish.
And pretty soon The little boy learned to wait, And to watch And to make things just like the teacher. And pretty soon He didn’t make things of his own anymore.
Then it happened That the little boy and his family Moved to another house, In another city, And the little boy Had to go to another school.
The teacher said: “Today we are going to make a picture.” “Good!” thought the little boy. And he waited for the teacher To tell what to do. But the teacher didn’t say anything. She just walked around the room.
When she came to the little boy She asked, “Don’t you want to make a picture?” “Yes,” said the little boy. “What are we going to make?” “I don’t know until you make it,” said the teacher. “How shall I make it?” asked the little boy. “Why, anyway you like,” said the teacher. “And any color?” asked the little boy. “Any color,” said the teacher. And he began to make a red flower with a green stem.

“May I please draw your OC?”
Reblog this message if you encourage anyone that wants to draw your OC to do so.  No need to ask for permission in advance.
Go for it.  Draw my OC.  If you want, I’ll even give you reference posts.  Go to town on it.
You are welcome to draw my OC and surprise me with the result.  Seriously.  In fact, I encourage it.  I will proudly display whatever it is you submit to me regarding my OC.  There is a chance that I will squeal about it for several days.
Even if you feel you aren’t good at whatever artistic adventure it is you do, please feel free to submit it to me.  I want to see what you have done.

Chapter 1- A storm at sea (Words: 1927)
There was a huge storm surging outside. And a fluffy hybrid torchic was feeling very uneasy about the water slowly filling up his home in the sharpedo bluff. He’d already moved all his things from around the ever growing puddle. He was on his wooden table at this point. Not exactly sure what to do in this situation. ”Oh boy.. What do I do now?” He had already put something there to absorb some of the water but it wasn’t really working as well as he had hoped. And just by luck, he didn’t have a drought orb on hand. Though, he doubted it would work anyways since, his home wasn’t a mystery dungeon. Well, not anymore at least.. He willed himself to hop off the table he was on. He stared at the puddle on the floor, approached it, and used the move, overheat. The water evaporated almost instantly. But it was a temporary fix. He looked out the eye (window?) and saw just how hard the rain was battering everything in its path. “Oh no…the town might be in a bit of a pickle tomorrow..” He scurried over to his cabinet and grabbed some more towels, the water was making a mess again. He placed it all around the soaking area and added another set just outside of the first layer. “That should hold for a little bit.. At least until the morning when I can ask Ms. Kanga or someone at the guild to help me..” He shivered uncomfortably at the thought of walking to the guild. The town already didn’t really accept him, they said it was because he was “from the wilds.” Whatever that means. He knew that Mr. Kanga already had a kid to take care of, he didn’t want to add an extra load on her back. He sighed, knowing the guild was his only option, he waddled over to his nest and pulled himself into it. He felt his eyelids fall heavy and drifted off into slumber.
She was running through the storm, they were right behind her, all of them. They wanted something from her and she wouldn’t give it to them. She ran through the undergrowth, wet tree branches slapped against her glass scales. She tripped on a tree root, pulled herself back to her feet and kept going. She ran up to a cliff and Grovyle was right behind her. He leapt in front of her and went into an offensive stance. She saw them all flooding onto the cliff and knew Grovyle couldn’t defend her from all of them. He leapt at one of the Sableye, violently clawing up its chest. She doubted he would survive. Lightning struck and she crouched down out of fear. Unintentionally dodging a Sableye. The wind picked up and they were thrown off the cliff into the raging sea below. Grovyle had blood all over his claws but was otherwise unharmed. Another wave of Sableye emerged from the forest. She and Grovyle backed up but were soon out of room to go. They knew they were surrounded, but Grovyle refused to surrender. “Grovyle! We can’t fight them all!” She yelled out of pure concern for her friend. He hissed. “I know.. But you need to get out of here..don’t worry about me. The mission is clear.” She stared at him, not really processing what he said. “What..?” He sighed.
“I’m sorry Rain…”
He picked her up and threw her off the cliff. She screamed for Grovyle and she plummeted into the waves below. She struggled keeping her head above the crashing waves. She inevitably sunk under. The rocks jutting up from underneath the sea were tearing up her delicate scales. Leaving nasty slices that resembled cracks against them. She somewhat winced, sucking up a bit of water. She began running out of air and tried swimming upward but she simply couldn’t tread water.
She heard a voice boom from somewhere around her. No, not around her. It sounded..telepathic. “You seem a bit out of place little one.. Allow me to assist you..”
She felt a white hot pain flood into her entire body. She screeched, releasing the breath she was holding. She couldn’t keep her consciousness and she went limp in the crashing waves, under the sea..
She woke up on a beach. Saltwater was flowing on her crack shaped wounds, causing discomfort. She winced and tried to remember what happened or how she ended up there. All she remembered was her name..
“Rain”
She attempted to rise but ultimately failed. She shivered and curled up into a ball. The water continued to rush over her body, stinging every wound it touched. Then, she passed out on the beach at the shore.
While this was happening, The torchic was pacing in front of a large tree with pale orange banners. The banner seemed to have 2 different claw patterns on them. He was muttering to himself about something. Finally, he approached the stand at the front. There was a Fidough intently reading a book there. She looked up, saw the hybrid torchic and rolled her eyes. “Ugh, you again? Listen, I already told you, you can’t form an expedition team without at least 1 other member. Must I show you the rulebook again??” The torchic hybrid shifted uncomfortably “Yes, I’m aware.. But I’m not here for that today. Uhhh my home got flooded in the storm last night..” He kept moving his wings around and shifting. The fidough’s intense glare was making him rather uncomfortable. “And uh..I was wondering if someone could possibly help me?” The Fidough chuckled. “The guild’s busy today. The town’s in a mess. I doubt they’ll have time to help a wildie like you…” The hybrid sighed “Alright.. Well uhhh, could you ask once they deal with everything else?” The fidough groaned. “Yeah, sure whatever. Now shoo wildie, I’m trying to read.” He turned and left. Holding back tears, he headed to the beach. He walked down the winding path and kicked a rock that was on the path. He wished he hadn’t been born in a mystery dungeon. He wondered if his life would be different if that was the case. He made it to the beach and flopped on the sand. He saw a seashell and picked it up. It was cracked. “Oh! Hold on!” He grabbed a string of seaweed nearby and wrapped it around the shell. Then he leaned it up against a nearby stone. “There you go! All better!” He was there for quite a while, until sunset actually. The Krabby came out and began blowing bubbles. Casting the sun’s rays onto the beach. It was a beautiful sight. It made him think about some good times from home. He remembered all his siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins. The bonds that were etched deep into his heart. He sighed, he could probably go back. His mom would accept him, surely. He shook his head. “I’ll stay here, I will prove him wrong.” An image of his father appeared in his head. It caused him to get irritated and he kicked a rock into the sea. He lowered his body onto the sand to calm down. When he cooled down he finally decided to go home, before he was at the beach all night. He turned to go and heard a groan from behind him. It was followed up with a whimper. Confused, he glanced behind him. He didn’t see anyone. He stepped back onto the sand, and called out “Uh, hello? Is anyone there?”
No response
He closed his eyes, detecting any auras nearby, like his oldest brother taught him to.
He spread out his aura all around him, He felt the Krabby, a few Shellder, and a pod of Finizen and Palafin. There. He found it. It was fluttering, like it was really weak. He opened his eyes and dashed to the spot where he sensed the weak aura. It was behind a rock. He peered around it and saw..
A Mudkip.
“Not just any Mudkip..” He realized. Taking note of the liquid filled body. “A glass variant..” It had crack-like cuts. “W-What happened..?”
He inched closer to the Mudkip and poked it. It whimpered and tried to move away but he stepped closer and got low.
“Hey.. it’s alright, I won’t hurt you..” He gently put his wing over the strange Mudkip. It seemed to relax quite a bit when he did that. It snuggled against him and he pulled away, clearly uncomfortable.
“That’s it, take your time.. Can you stand? No, probably not..”
He somehow managed to scoop up the Mudkip. He couldn’t treat its wounds here. A voice was nagging at his ear. “Y’know, you can’t take it home.. It didn’t really say that you could.. And it’ll be really confused when it wakes up.." He ignored the voice and grabbed a few ingredients from his fluff. He only had enough to make 1 Invisify orb. Meaning, that he would have to act like he didn’t have anything on his back, keep his posture upright and not act like he was hiding something. He groaned and worked his magic. “There, everything's in place. All it needs now is my special touch..” He focused a Safeguard on the pile of ingredients, creating a glassy, white orb.
“Awesome.” He congratulated himself. He pressed the orb on the Mudkip’s paw. The orb caused it to turn invisible. He picked it up and somehow carried it all the way to the sharpedo bluff. He moved the shrub blocking the entrance to his home. As he went down, he pulled the shrub back over the staircase, concealing it completely. He carried the Mudkip to his nest and gently placed it on top. He looked around and saw that his home was spotless. Everything was back in place. Like there wasn’t water in there at all the night before. There was something on his cabinets.
“A note?” He pulled it off and read it.
“Dear Phoenix, We saw that your home was a bit of a mess, so we cleaned it up for you. You’re welcome. Signed, Guildmasters Zen and Doku. ^^”
He found himself smiling and he placed the note down. He grabbed a first aid kit from a cupboard. And slowly approached the Mudkip. “Hey, I’m gonna treat your wounds now.. It might sting a bit..”
The Mudkip was unresponsive.
He sighed and began cleaning the wounds. When he started the Mudkip tried to bite him. “Hey hey! It’s okay.. I’m trying to help!” It took a little while but he finally finished. “Phew, done..” He looked out the window and the sun had completely set. He grabbed a blanket from a cabinet and gently tossed it over the Mudkip. “There we go… all better now!” He hoped that the Mudkip was okay, It was quite odd to see one on the grass continent. Now that he thought about it, it was weird to see a Mudkip anywhere near saltwater. They lived in freshwater. They knew not to go anywhere near the ocean. They couldn't possibly survive in the sea. Phoenix decided not to worry about that. So, he went over to his cabinets and pulled out his freshly created orbs. He sat next to his bed and began polishing them quietly. Before long the moon rose high into the sky.
It was waking hour.
"Welp, time to go.." He headed out of his home, shooting a look at the Mudkip.
Then, he went out. Where? Time will tell

Some of my favorite words and phrases to describe a character in pain
coiling (up in a ball, in on themselves, against something, etc)
panting (there’s a slew of adjectives you can put after this, my favorites are shakily, weakly, etc)
keeling over (synonyms are words like collapsing, which is equally as good but overused in media)
trembling/shivering (additional adjectives could be violently, uncontrollably, etc)
sobbing (weeping is a synonym but i’ve never liked that word. also love using sob by itself, as a noun, like “he let out a quiet sob”)
whimpering (love hitting the wips with this word when a character is weak, especially when the pain is subsiding. also love using it for nightmares/attacks and things like that)
clinging (to someone or something, maybe even to themselves or their own clothes)
writhing/thrashing (maybe someone’s holding them down, or maybe they’re in bed alone)
crying (not actual tears. cry as in a shrill, sudden shout)
dazed (usually after the pain has subsided, or when adrenaline is still flowing)
wincing (probably overused but i love this word. synonym could be grimacing)
doubling-over (kinda close to keeling over but they don’t actually hit the ground, just kinda fold in on themselves)
heaving (i like to use it for describing the way someone’s breathing, ex. “heaving breaths” but can also be used for the nasty stuff like dry heaving or vomiting)
gasping/sucking/drawing in a breath (or any other words and phrases that mean a sharp intake of breath, that shite is gold)
murmuring/muttering/whispering (or other quiet forms of speaking after enduring intense pain)
hiccuping/spluttering/sniffling (words that generally imply crying without saying crying. the word crying is used so much it kinda loses its appeal, that’s why i like to mix other words like these in)
stuttering (or other general terms that show an impaired ability to speak — when someone’s in intense pain, it gets hard to talk)
staggering/stumbling (there is a difference between pain that makes you not want to stand, and pain that makes it impossible to stand. explore that!)
recoiling/shrinking away (from either the threat or someone trying to help)
pleading/begging (again, to the threat, someone trying to help, or just begging the pain to stop)
Feel free to add your favorites or most used in the comments/reblogs!

Ah, nice! I might use these one day!
Some of My Favorite Ways to Describe a Character Who’s Sick
pressing their forehead into something cool or comfortable (this could be an array of things. the table, the floor, someones leather jacket, their water bottle, the countertop)
warm to the touch, or heat radiating from them (could be noticed if someone’s gauging their temperature with their hands, hugging them, or just generally touching them)
leaning into people’s touch, or just spontaneously leaning on them (like pressing into their hand when someone’s checking their temp, or just, like, literally walking up and laying their head on them from fatigue. bonus points if the character is usually feral and the other is scared to engage™︎)
falling asleep all over the place (at the dinner table, on their homework, in the car, in the bathroom — just being so exhausted from doing literally nothing)
being overly emotional (crying over things that don’t usually bother them, like their siblings arguing, or their homework, or literally just nothing)
stumbling/careening/staggering into things (the wall, furniture, other people. there is no coordination in feverish brains. running into chairs, hitting the door, falling over the couch, anything and everything)
slurring their words (could be from fatigue or pain. connecting words that shouldn’t be connected, murdering all of their conversations with the excessive use of ‘mm’ and ‘nn’ in place of words) (this is my favorite thing ever)
being overly touchy (basically like a sick kid — just hold them, please. do that thing where you brush their hair back out of their face, or rub circles on their back, or snuggle them. they won’t care. bonus points if this is also the feral character and they refuse to believe it afterwards)
being extremely resistant to touch (flinching away when they usually don’t so someone can’t feel the fever, not letting themselves be touched because they’re so tired they just know they’ll be putty in their hands if they do)
growing aggressive or being extremely rude (it’s a defense mechanism — they feel vulnerable and are afraid of being manipulated or deceived while they’re ill)
whimpering/whining/groaning (this was in my “characters in pain” post but it’s so good that i’m putting it here too. this shite is gold, especially if it’s just an involuntary reaction to their symptoms)
having nightmares caused by a fever and/or delirium (crying and murmuring in their sleep, or being awake but completely out of it and convinced they’re somewhere else)
making themselves as small as possible (curling up into a ball everywhere they lay, hunching over slightly when standing, wrapping their arms around themselves)
TW for vomiting below cut !!
sleeping in the bathroom floor because they keep getting sick over and over (bonus if someone finds them all weak and pitiful. bonus bonus if they find them there in the morning only to learn they’ve been there all night)
using their hands/other body parts to clamp over their mouth so nothing can come out (like pulling their knees up to their chest and using that, or like, their arm, y’know) (~maccreadysbaby who has emetophobia suddenly gets very awkward about this post~) (~yes i have a phobia of puke and still write this happening to my characters, shut up~) (~it’s about the hurt/comfort okay~)
sympathy pukers (people who aren’t the sick ones but get nauseous/vomit when they see someone else throw up) (~aka me~) (~okay I’m done now~)
dry heaving (it’s gross, but good for making your characters absolutely freaking miserable)
rolling/churning/spinning/cramping/ lurching and all those awesome words that describe what stomachs do when sick (i hate these words with a deep, fiery passion. but they’re good for writing or whatever)

YOOOOO
Tui Event Info
Info from Tui's in person event today (10/1/23) about Arc 4 and the TV Show. The full event video can be found here
Arc 4/Books -Tui has confirmed that she'll be making a fourth arc but not to expect it anytime soon as she is working on a non-wof related book rn. -They are still talking about "how forward they want to go and what characters to focus on" Tui is open to requests from fans to see what characters and tribes people want to see. -She knows people probably want to see more MudWings and what happened to Umber. Tui also wants to get the little dragons together like "Bumblebee, Mink, Peacemaker, and Auklet". These are ideas she currently has in her head but not confirmed to be the main focus of the next arc. -When asked about a Scorching Book Tui talked about how now that it's been explained it's possible, but that she would need a main character that has a "different experience than what's already in the book" to tell that story. "It's not a no, anything is possible, but we don't have a specific plan for that yet". -Continuing from the Scorching talk Tui mentioned how she could probably tell more about Clearsight's story arriving on Pantala, but again these are just ideas floating around and not confirmed to become books. TV Show -The work on the tv show has been set back to a clean slate, but they are talking about the show again. There is hope but nothing is official yet. It's a "distinct possibility"

2 fresh pmd ocs.
and unlike Inkpot and System, these two have a lil story being written by yours truly!
Ehehe it's still a long way from finished though! So, I'll tell you a few facts (under the cut)
Phoenix facts:
Phoenix probably has autism. ( i'm still deciding because I don't want to portray it the wrong way and insult people with autism)
Phoenix is trans (Female to Male)
He was supposed to get his hair, feather..things..Cut. But he didn't have any money to pay with. While he was getting money, he kinda fell in love with it.
Phoenix is a hybrid of a Woobat and a Torchic
Phoenix can make orbs, he has a cabinet full of them in his home.
Phoenix has arctic blue eyes
Rain facts:
Rain's scars apparently came from rocks in the ocean slicing her a bit too hard. They resemble cracks in glass when they're fresh.
Rain is a glass Mudkip variant.
Rain doesn't have any idea what the liquid is.
Rain has heterochromia. She finds it odd so she covers up her eyes.
And that's about all I have or can tell you without spoiling almost everything so uhh, have a good day or night!
