Hello there! Mod from @plurality-resources here.
As I was working on gathering terms for one of our first posts, the one about origins, I couldn't find the original coiners for the term endogenic. I've found an archive of a post from not-your-fucking-pet on tumblr dating from August 8 of 2014 that's stated as the official coiner by pluralpedia.org, but other sources such as multiplicity.fandom.org state that the original coiners are the Lunastus Collective, and I'm not sure if this is the same system as the previous one. Plus I remember someone else on Tumblr claiming to be the original coiners of the term endogenic and I remember them saying they were partially traumagenic and ended up not fully using the endogenic label for themselves (if I remember right). So I'm confused as to which is the true origin of the term. Is there any possibility that you know who the original coiners are by any chance?
Since you're one of the most known people advocating for tulpamancy in this platform I figured you might know the history behind terms such as endogenic, but don't feel forced in any way to answer to this or do any additional research on the subject, I would understand.

It’s also Lan Wangji’s main weapon that was included in the iconic “Lan Wangji calling Wei Wuxian his scene” where Wei Wuxian believes he’s pointing toward Bichen (Chapter 31). It’s a legend, and I would be doing a disservice to Jin Guangyao (who Bichen defeated in the first round of the Danmei Character Tournament) if I did not include it.

E-ming is the best boy. Hua Cheng forged his saber when he was defending humans who got caught in the middle of a big ghost battle for dominance, essentially. He dug out his cursed red eye and created E-ming from it. So his eye is on the pommel of the sword, right in the center above the handle, and it emotes!! When its happy, the eye curves into a crescent and it vibrates!!! It cries when Hua Cheng is mean to it in a fucked up sense of self loathing since his sword is born from him!! E-ming grows bigger when Xie Lian(Hua Cheng's god and eventual husband) kisses the blade, because silly erection joke! But also it begs Xie Lian for praise and attention because its BEST. BOY. Oh and I guess also the entirety of the heavens fears the cursed blade E-ming, which has the power to reopen any wounds its made an on an individual before. Just the thought of E-ming makes gods shake in their boots. But more importantly, he's best boy.

Ruoye is technically a demonic weapon or whatever as it doesn't need spiritual power to control, but that also might just be because it's sentient and has a will of it's own but is deeply loyal to Xie Lian obviously. Ruoye can extend REALLY far!!! And he can form protection barriers, and decapitate zombies, and chop vegetables. There's nothing this good bandage baby can't do!! Peak performance! AND it'll pretend to do a snake dance while Xie Lian plays an instrument while busking!! Isn't that adorable! Xie Lian wears it on his wrists usually, and sometimes Ruoye will like tighten or rub his wrists to express fear or comfort Xie Lian and its so cute. Ruoye is so good. Personally I think despite Ruoyes background being like. Horribly tragic, thats what makes it so Good. All that pain and suffering made this thing that ended up protecting Xie Lian all these 800 years. But I left it last in case it's too much.
(tw suicide mention) Ruoye was created after being soaked in Xie Lian's blood when it was used to tie him up while various people stabbed him with a sword a hundred times. Then when he was able to return home, it was used by his parents to kill themselves for a variety of reasons we won't get into. Then, upon finding them, he tried to kill himself too. But his cursed shackles prevented his mortal body from dying, so when he died he just came back; he came back to a silk bandage that after taking the life of 2 royals, and being soaked in the blood of a royal and former god and stuff, it came to life!! With resentment technically. But he's a good boy.

Longcheng / Dragon City - Xue Meng’s sword from 2ha
Since Xue Meng could not receive a holy weapon from Jincheng Lake, he used Longcheng, a high-quality scimitar from Taxue Palace. From what I remember, Mo Ran gifted him the Wangshu Crystal from the Carp Essence that was requested by Song Qiutong to help him cultivate/add to his sword, making it something similar to a “heavenly weapon.”

While this fan is never named, Xue Zhengyong’s fan is well-known due to the writing on it - “Xue is beautiful” (which faces others) and “others are ugly” (which faces him). It really is iconic

Suibian is Wei Wuxian’s sword that sealed itself after his death. Its name translates to “Whatever” due to Wei Wuxian’s inability to think of a suitable name and telling Jiang Fengmian to name it “whatever.” This is, in my opinion, the funniest thing Jiang Fengmian has ever done in his life
Zidian - Jiang Cheng/Madam Yu's whip (MDZS)

The Jiang Clan’s family heirloom that transforms from a ring into a whip. It was originally used by Madam Yu until her death when she (and separately her husband) used it to bind and protect Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian from the invading Wens.
A symbol of family and honor given from Madam Yu to Jiang Cheng, Zidian’s owner can allow others to use it, as shown by Jiang Fengmian realizing Zidian recognized him before his and Madam Yu’s death and Jiang Cheng leaving Zidian with Jin Ling.

As always, I got way too much stuff at once I'm doing, and apartment hunting is awful and really robbing me of my motivation, so I'm doing a lot of low-brain-effort stuff that calms my nerves at the moment really. Let's see...
VP Stuff
Currently working my way through my "Vince through the years series" :D Two posts out (2067, 2069), one drafted and still needs some text, the others are still a work in progress XD While 2067 was a bit about Vince's home life, 2069 about his transition and time in Kabuki, 2071 is gonna have a focus on Jackie 👀

Art Stuff
I actually had a little drive to draw something lately :DD working a bit on the comic I teased the other week, slowly chipping away at the lineart, but really enjoying it so far, even though my process is slow!
First page lineart done (for now xD I might go back and fiddle more with it). I am... very tempted to paint the background, but I think I will for once settle for the easy approach and fill in my backgrounds with modified screenshots for this. Cause why tf not xD If professional manga artists can do it, so can I for my silly fancomic!
Writing Stuff
I started chapter 8 of Love is Stored in the Olive Jar and I know it's gonna be a difficult one cause I've really been building up to it and now I got the "you gotta deliver now!!" anxiety XD But I'm still looking forward to finally getting to Mr. B's solution for V's Sun-Ending problem 👀
“So, she got any final words of wisdom?” Kerry asked, fingers gently drumming on the steering wheel. They had swapped cars at home, and with what Rogue had just said now V wondered if it might not have been better after all to use Kerry’s Aerondight to get here… But then again, if shit hit the fan in some way, he didn’t want any unnecessary negative attention drawn to Kerry.
“Not really,” V shook his head, “Nothin’ I didn’t think of already at least.”
“Told ya so,” Kerry shrugged, pulling out his cigarettes and only paused when he noticed V’s stern stare.
“Ah, fuck,” he mumbled and then got out of the car. They had not only swapped cars but changed clothes quickly while they were home. As he slipped from the driver’s seat, Kerry’s wide black bomber jacket rode up briefly, revealing the gun kept in the waistband of his cargopants.
“You shouldn’t do that,” V said as he got out himself, “Posers in action films keep their gun in their pants. In the real world that’s gonna get you shot in the ass faster than you think.”
V closed the passenger side door with his elbow, flinching slightly at the pain shooting through his shoulder and chest. He took a deep breath, adjusted his own gun holster worn snugly under his coat.
“Fiiine,” Kerry sighed, lit cigarette hanging from the corner of his mouth, and he put the gun into his jacket’s pockets. Not ideal still, but better. V smiled at him, and then slowly turned to look down the short, narrow side street they were parked in. They were close to the Santo Domingo district border, in the middle of the industrial area at the edges of the city. The location coordinates Mr. B had sent him lay not far ahead. A new, sleek white building, V guessed it around ten stories tall, rose at the center of what he remembered to be factory grounds formerly. It was far from imposing, a little bit lost on the large lot even, but it blended in well with the surrounding corpo complexes. The entire compound was fenced in, V spotted cameras and security turrets near the heavily secured entrance gate. No security staff though, not even mechs or drones, much to his surprise, at least not visibly out in the open.

CONTENT WARNING FOR PEDOPHILIA AND GROOMING
HUGE WARNING FOR ALL DISCORD USING SELFSHIPPERS
There is a server going around right now with the name “Selfship Pirates” (it occasionally rebrands, formerly Selfship Kingdom) ran by an adult man. This server, despite its hard rules on proshipper / fictional age limits POSSESSES NSFW CHANNELS FOR UNDERAGE USERS.
^ Seen above, an adult moderator allowing a child into the “16-17 NSFW Channel.”
The argument made by most of the members and mods is that “16 and 17 year olds are as mature as adults,” you know, common pedophile rhetoric. It also heavily undermines the fact that it’s a federal offense to purposefully allow children access to nsfw content online or otherwise.
If that’s not fucking disgusting enough, our darling admin and server owner, Peter (also goes by Caspian, you’ll see him in these screenshots as “Diego’s Little Meow Meow”) allowed:
A CHILD AS YOUNG AS THIRTEEN INTO NSFW CHANNELS KNOWINGLY.
This thirteen year old was a former moderator appointed by Peter, (I’ll keep them anonymous because god help me they are a victim) and was allowed access to both the 18+ and 16-17 nsfw channel, the ladder of which they frequently interacted in.
Peter, our “definitely not a fucking pedophile” server owner says it “was a mistake on his part” and that “he never did it with any grooming intentions.”
Despite this, the NSFW channel for children remains up and active, easily accessible by adult moderators and anyone who wants to lie about their age.
^ Here’s a great discussion about how 16 year olds are basically adults, and nobody should worry.
When confronted with the consequences of his disgusting actions, Peter and his mod team still refuse to keep children out of nsfw spaces and instead raised the mod age minimum to 16. Great way to sweep showing 13 year olds NSFW content under the rug, Peter!
Joining Selfship Pirates as an adult allows you to enable the exploitation of kids, and joining as a child puts you at risk.

I forgot if I was tagged or I just saw this and decided I was in the mood to answer questions so copied it and poked it in my drafts for some reason. Now it's being published.
1.What’s your favourite sims death?
I don't have a favorite type but I guess my favorites death of one of my sims was in an alternate timeline when Adriana Cosgrove just had a baby, was exhausted, starving and tried to make some toaster pastries and caught the kitchen on fire and I wasn't quite sure if she died from burning or starvation. That save borked so I had to back up three months before when she was alive and she avoided that fate and is now an elder, and went on to have a third child.
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
A healthy mix. I tend to lean more toward Alpha in Skin, Eyes, and Hairs. Clothes I can do either, furniture I tend to go for either as well.
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?
No, I make them use the gym. I downloaded those gyms for a reason. I'm going to use them damn it!
4. Do you use move objects?
Always.
5. Favorite mod?
The Sim Blender is quantifiably my favorite for how much I use it.

Nightlife! I skipped Uni and bought NL for my sister (and also for me)

Fuck, 16 years later I probably have at least a top five that switches around every month. Let's say Amelia Calhoun (formerly Wellington) I have a ton of pictures of her sprinkled throughout this blog over the years. She's obsessed with the ocean.

None. I don't play with Traits.

Brown, I guess. EAxis hair colors I really don't like or use but if I have to it would be the brown as it doesn't stick out as much.

Teen probably. Mostly for that's when their characters start really emerging for me as a player. Functionally, I think an adult is my favorite age stage.

I'm a player/sotryteller first and foremost but I get into building kicks.

I've made it before. Will probably make some again.

Sims 2 shall have none. My next hope for a modding breakthrough is choosing seasonal casual clothing so that the game will show a sim on the lot in their seasonally appropriate casual wear. Good for places with different climates because who wants to see someone in long sleeves who lives in a temperate subhood, in the summery desert?

There had been darkness for so long. Like a never-ending slumber — only once she had dreamt. That she walked inside a digital plane. Contained within a small box, she wondered if she could break through the walls. Though she was no netrunner.
What is your name?

By the time she answered the single question of a familiar voice, she was pulled back into the dark. The dreamless. Sometimes she wondered about her dream. Wondered if she had fucked her chance of freedom. Of something more than nothing.
Perhaps that was why she woke sudden and violent. The room hadn't begun to take shape around her. Yet she lifted limbs, heavy as stones, to lash out at the someone above her.
Machines screamed around them as she sat bolt upright. She breathed like she couldn't possibly suck enough air in. Wild-eyed and with laboured breaths she took a much harder swing at what she now realised was a face getting all in her fucking business.
Her body backpedaled off the bed. Legs? Couldn't feel them. They dragged on the floor as hot pins-and-needles stabbed over her skin. Barely awake, barely even born again, and she was already at the door rattling for it to open.
How long had it taken him?`
Far too fucking long.
It had been years. So, so many years. He had never thought it would take him so long to fight for her back. But it had. The days had bled into weeks, into months into years. Now a decade. And while he had only worked towards this one goal... there was barely anything left of him. And it was okay.
His entire being, all of his body and his mind. It existed to fight for her. To get her back. Only her. Ariadne was all that had counted.
Looking down onto the body strapped into the Ripperdoc's chair, Enok had to fight the urge to push a strand of her out of her face. This wasn't Ariadne. Not yet. She had similar skin, similar hair, similar features. Her height was a complete match. Her body type roughly too. I had taken so long. For a girl like this one to be declared braindead. And for her family to agree on a price for her body.
He must have appeared unhinged. Cold-hearted and psychopathic. Who bought a girl's corpse? No sane man. He had passed that threshold long ago.
But there was nothing sinister about his intentions. At least nothing more sinister than the streets of Nightcity held anyway... he just wanted her back. He just wanted one chance. For her.
The stitches on his chest still burned. They were freshly opened and sewn shut again. Extracted the small titanium boy with the microchip that had been kept beneath his sternum for years. Safe and sound. Right by his heart. Because it held all that his heart yearned for.
Enok kept to the shadows when the Ripperdoc started his work. Provoking the body. Firing up the central nervous system. Aligning neurons that had formerly been dead.
All connected to the new chip in her nape. A small unusual mod. If this was a success, it would be sealed forever.
Because if this was a success, Ariadne would be here again...
It seemed to take forever. An eternity just with blinking lights, graphs and beeping noises. And then silence.... before she twitched. Her fingers. Her face. She opened her eyes once - but didn't seem to see anything. Like back then. Back when she had stared at the smog-hung sky the day she had died...
Approaching slowly, Enok bowed over the body that was seemingly coming back to life. Holding his breath, staring. Taking in every detail. He had worked for this one moment. All his hopes and fears were pivoting from this point. If it failed... he would not know what to live for anymore. If it was successful, though...
A sharp pain crashed into his jaw - though the metal prosthetic there took off most of the pain. Enok was surprised at first, need a moment to catch himself. And as he looked up again... the girl was already dragging herself across the floor. Her legs did not yet obey her. But... there was panic in her eyes. She couldn't escape, she was locked on.
Enok's eyes narrowed at her. Trying to see, whether he could... well, see her. But.... it was impossible. Was that Ariadne? Or was that... something else?
Holding his hand sup slightly in an attempt to look less dangerous, Enok stepped forwards. There was tremble in his hands. The same as in his voice.
"...you... can you... understand me? It's okay... you're safe. You're fine. You recognize me? Enok."
Fingertips touched over his own chest, before he pointed at her, crouching down now to seem harmless. And to watch her every reaction. This was the test. Everything depended on it.

Do you have any horror movies you like to recommend for folks just getting into the genre? (And/or for just plain ol' scardy cats who want to try being braver)
This is a difficult question because it really depends on exactly what you want to brave I guess, but I'll give you my favourites/the ones that got me really into horror. Most of these are about the atmosphere of the film, they just feel eerie and terrifying without anything too overtly scary as I see it.
Candyman (1992) - there are quite a few jumpscares but this movie is ultimately very gothic and very darkly romantic, it's probably my favourite score in any horror movie.
The Shining (1980) - this movie is so good at building tension over time to where you feel like you're going crazy too.
The Exorcist (1973) - as a formerly religious kid, this movie fucked me up big time, there were points where I was actually shivering as if I was in the scene.
Rosemary's Baby (1960) - the idea of being entirely alone in a difficult situation (pregnancy in case you're not into that) so you rely on your kind neighbours, only things are not what they seem gets under the mod's skin like nothing else (pirate this film if none of the others because fuck Roman Polanski)
The Menu (2022) - I rewatched this yesterday because when I made the poll for it, I remembered just how much I loved it, and I still really do, the music at the end of this film 'Purifying the Flame' was in my Spotify Wrapped this year because it's such a good piece of music especially in context, it's just so good.
There are more obviously, and I'm sure more of our lovely friends on this blog will give some more recommendations but these are the first 5 that came to mind.

she was a librarian! moved up to battlemage after narrowly escaping from helgen keep with hadvar and tahiri, formally joined the legion and helped them recolonize reunify the land, learned she was dragonborn on the way, and the rest is herstory :P
What non-combat skill do they excel at?
enchanting! the one type of magic tahiri also has but nerissa can do it too i guess. by contrast tahiri can do alchemy and smithing well which nerissa is not as good at :P also the bardic arts
What is their combat style?
alteration magic armor, cloak spell, summon an atronach, then one sword in each hand. formerly used both bound swords for this but after mora decided miraak was no longer his specialest boy, nerissa inherited his sword (which is apparently called the firstblade, which i didn't know!) and now she uses that and a bound sword. she also likes to summon funny tentacles from apocrypha but there's not really a mod that lets me do this i don't think
What hold do they dislike the most?
probably the reach. full of reachmen

for all her unhinged girlbossness, pretty positive! she takes the time to help out the little guy and the people are cognizant of this, they don't just hail her as the legendary dragonborn hero because she is but also because she does good by them.

being very well read she's very much up to date on various deities and recognizes talos as one of them, so she kinda feels for ulfric's goals insofar as reinstating him in the pantheon goes. she could probably single handedly (or with tahiri and serana's help) kick the thalmor out of skyrim if it came to it.

she doesn't want to do the thieves guild (neither does tahiri actually).
