Unofficial Best Drawfee Character Competition is here!
Tumblr media
The polls will all be held for 24 hours.  Sorry if not all the characters are here, this was already 26 lol.  Maybe at the start of next year we can do a new, smaller one and pit that winner against this years winner.  Depends on if polls are still cool (and working) at that point.

been cosigned by the bi women in my life to say this but i think the whole ‘bi women are 100000x more likely to be victims of partner abuse’ thing gets...almost victim blamey if u think abt it too hard. do we believe that there are men who are totally fine to date as a straight woman but if you’re bi they become Abusers or are we just avoiding thinking too hard about the reality of dating a guy who would hypothetically be beating u if u were bi. are we saying the abuse happens because they’re bi? anyway the elephant in the room is that we’re talking about self-reported statistics here and bi women are more likely to be feminists and informed about consent and coercion and so on in order to RECOGNISE abuse. meanwhile a majority of straight women don’t even believe in marital rape and we know a lot about the lengths people can go to avoid labelling what they experienced/are experiencing as abuse. + DUH sexuality is self reported too so of course going through abuse at the hands of men can be a factor in a woman unpacking compulsory heterosexuality and realising she isn’t straight.
i think it’s important because in one narrative, victim-blaming myths about IPV are subtly reinforced in the name of advocating for bi women while the other recognises that abuse can happen to anyone but bi women are informed and autonomous and not just helpless victims with no choice but to play dating life russian roulette

Baby Fever ~Simon Ghost Riley Imagine~
Summary: Your niece gets attached to Ghost during a family reunion. And luckily for you and Ghost, you two want a future together.
Author’s Note: This won the poll survey I did so here it is!
Part Two
Reader’s Pronouns: She/Her
Warnings: a couple brief sexual mentions, mostly fluff
Side Note: This is a secondary blog. If you comment a question down below, I will not answer since this is not the main blog. Please send the question to my inbox if you want a response back!
Do not repost this anywhere!
Tumblr media
Before meeting you, Simon didn't like leave. He didn't have anyone to go home to, no one waiting for him to come back to, or anything to do even if he did go home. Before you, going on leave was miserable for him.
Then you came along. When you found out the first time that Simon didn't have anywhere to go (nor did he really want to go anywhere), you invited him back over to your place.
"You sure you want me to join you?" Simon asked you.
"I don't see why not. Plus, you can meet my plush toys," you joked. Simon wished you were joking until he actually saw one of your stuff plushies out on the couch when he joined you.
You invited him again on the second and third time you two went on leave. Simon wouldn't admit to you that he liked you. But you knew and he knew that you knew. And everyone knew that you two were together after Simon almost sent one of the newbies to medical after they said that they would tap your ass.
"You two spending leave together again?" Price asked you.
"I don't know. My family invited me to a family reunion and I don't know if Simon is comfortable with that," you tell your Captain.
"True. But yet again, do you really want Simon to be alone during leave?" Price asked you.
"No."
So you ask Simon to join you on leave again to head to your family reunion. He says yes to your surprise.
You tell your family that Simon can be quiet and that he wears a balaclava but that's mainly because of some issues he's had in the past. Your family understands but still tries to make some small conversation with him.
"So, you're the lieutenant she's talked about many times," your sister teases.
"She likes to talk about me?" Simon asked, humored over the fact that your sister had just ratted you out.
"Many times. Oh he's so big and handsome even though he wears a mask," your cousin mocks you as they join in on the teasing.
"Leave Y/n alone please. They just got back," your mother tells the two.
"Glad to know you talk about me," Simon smirks under his mask as he looks over at you.
"Oh shut up. I'm going to help out with the stuff," you tell him as you walk away embarrassed.
Simon sat at a chair, sipping the beer your father handed to him. It wasn't the type of beer Simon would normally drink but he didn't want to be rude.
Simon watched as your family chatted as they got everything set up. He felt a tug on his sleeve, making him look over. He saw as a young girl, no older than five, standing next to him.
"Um, hi," Simon said, unsure how to react.
"My ball went up the tree," the girl told him.
"Okay. Where is it?" Simon asked her as he got up. Her eyes widen from his tall figure. She reached her arms up, motioning him to carry her. Simon let out a sigh before picking her up.
"It's over there," she said as she pointed over at the bright yellow ball on the tree.
"How'd you get it up there?" Simon asked as he walked over to grab it.
"They tossed it up there," the girl said as she pointed over to the older kids.
"Isn't there someone your age to play with?" Simon asked her. The little girl shook her head at him.
This must be Y/n's niece, Simon thought. You had mentioned you had a niece and that she was your first niece in your family.
"What's your name?" Simon asked.
"Lana," your niece told him.
"Nice to meet you Lana. I'm Simon."
"Why do you wear a mask?"
"I just like it."
"Can you play with me?" Lana asked him.
"Alright."
As you helped with getting the party set up, you felt a nudge. You looked over at your aunt who motioned over at Simon and your niece.
"Isn't that cute. Have you two thought about getting married and having kids?" Your aunt asks you.
"Here and there but I think we've been so focus on work, we don't think about domestic life as much," you tell her.
"Well if you two ever decide to have a kid, just know you have free babysitting with us here," your mom mentioned. You smile before looking back at Simon and your niece.
When you both got back to your house, you sat on the couch with Simon.
"Have you thought about having kids?" You asked Simon.
"I don't think I'd be a good father since my father was shit," Simon tells you.
"Well I think today you proved that wrong," you tell him.
"What do you mean?"
"With my niece. You two got along pretty well," you tell him.
"She's a good kid."
"Yeah. But I'm just asking," you tell him before getting up to take a shower.
"Have you thought about having kids?" Simon asked you.
"A couple times. But when I saw you with my niece, I thought it'd be nice to have a mini us. But I don't want to pressure you," you tell him before heading to your bedroom. You turned on the water before stripping off your clothes.
You stepping into the shower before relaxing a little under the water. You heard the door open before the shower curtain opened. You watched as Simon join you in the shower before closing the curtain shut.
"I don't remember asking you to join me," you joked.
Simon shook his head at the joke before pulling you in for a kiss.
"I want it with you."
"What?" You asked confused.
"The whole marriage and kid thing. I want it with you," Simon tells you.
"Are you serious?" You asked in shock.
"Yes. I don't want anyone else but you and if we have a kids then at least I have you to raise them with," Simon admitted you. You smiled up at Simon before leaning up to kiss him.
"I'd like that," you smiled.
"Now, let's get onto baby practicing shall we?" Simon said, smiling down at you.

POLL RESULTS JUST DROPPED!!
My hockeyblr experiences are largely catered to my own personal tastes -- mostly Leafs, a little Penguins and Stars, one or two who post about Stevie Y and Sergei Fedorov. These are obviously not the only teams out there.
This study was designed to survey as much of hockeyblr as it possibly could, gathering data on which teams people like and to what degrees. There were five questions and a free space -- my attempt to ask people to rank the teams they enjoyed in three levels, from religiously followed to casually affectionate, and an additional couple of questions on love for players versus team. I received over 500 responses. Here are the results.
Yeah, yeah, you all want to know: The most popular team is the Penguins, by a long shot, then the Leafs.
Because my sample size (n = 523) is actually fairly small compared to the number of NHL teams there are, I find definitive rankings tend to be difficult. It’s also worth noting that, as a mainly Leafs blog, my numbers are definitely going to be skewed a little in favour of the Leafs.
Your Guys
These are the teams closest to your heart: the ship you go down with, metaphorically or, depending on how married your old men are, literally. For me, I picked just the Leafs.
The average respondent had 1.9 teams in this category. The most popular, by far, was the Pittsburgh Penguins. Below is a table of teams, arranged roughly into tiers by the number of respondents. Each team has the number of respondents in brackets next to their three-letter code.
Tumblr media
I allowed people to pick as many teams as they would like; the average person picked 1.9 teams, but here’s a distribution of how many teams they picked:
Tumblr media
4 people picked 0 “your guys” teams, and 2 people picked seven, nine, or ten each teams. Just about half of people had one main team.
I then wondered: what teams were people most likely to only follow? That is, if you hold [x] team in the closest part of your heart, are you more or less likely to also hold any other teams? Almost exactly 25% of picks were solo; I wondered if there was any correlation at all.
Tumblr media
Only a little bit! Of the samples large enough to actually consider (so: nothing in that cluster at the bottom left, who all received fewer than 10 picks total, and a few of whom -- CGY, CHI, NSH -- received zero solo pickers), the most devoted fans chose the Sharks, the Bruins, and the Leafs. The fans who liked the most other teams chose the Avs, the Kraken, the Canucks, Panthers, Sens, and Ducks.
Probably a next step would be to look for correlations: if people are a fan of one team, are they more likely to be fans of another? THAT BEING SAID that’s a lot of regressions. Maybe keep an eye on that for the future, but I don’t know!!
Objects of Enjoyment, and Generally Nice
These two were successive tiers meant to distinguish teams that people like from the ones in the category above. I admit I probably could have phrased the questions better; I received several comments saying that they’d watch any hockey when they wanted to put a game on. The dynamics between Your Guys versus Objects of Enjoyment versus Generally Nice would best be described as devoted fan of versus casual fan of versus favourable opinion towards.
As I said a few paragraphs back, people picked 1.9 “devoted fan” teams on average. Again on average, they picked 4.7 “casual fan” teams and 6.5 “favourable opinion” teams. Not all ratios are equal, though! Some teams had significantly more casual than devoted fans, and others still were much more liked generally than average.
I gave each team’s “devoted” count an index number of 1 and measured their casual and favourable count as a ratio against the index number. The teams assembled themselves into a few groups.
No Commitment
Tumblr media
Arizona and Anaheim have decided to be soulbonded (Excel refuses to let them have different-coloured dots) and it took me three hundred million years to attempt to (and unsuccessfully) fix, so let’s ignore that. These teams all have a fairly high slope of interest -- a range of casual interest at about five times the pace of fervent interest, and good opinion at about ten times fervent interest. The Calgary Flames are an outlier on the entire graph, not just here.
Casual Interest
Tumblr media
I gave up on trying to colour teams according to their real colours shortly after the Anaheim/Arizona debacle. Please employ the legend. Nashville is included on all five graphs for reference. These teams all have a casual interest factor of about 3, and a favourable opinion factor of around 5; the same ratio as the casual fans of the teams in the first category to their fervent fans.
Saturated Market
Tumblr media
These teams have a much lower ratio of hardcore:casual:favourable fans, at about 1:2:3.
We Get It, Those Are Your Guys
Tumblr media
Pittsburgh and Toronto; these teams have an almost equal ratio of all three categories.
...Whatever This Is
Tumblr media
Every other category is defined by its ratios; this category is defined by its shape. While all teams have their rate of hardcore fandom set as 1, the other two tend to increase in a roughly linear form, without too much significant difference between the first interval and the second interval.
These teams, though (again, Nashville is for scale) don’t do that: they have a set increase between hardcore and casual, and a significantly smaller increase (or, in a couple cases, a decrease) between casual and favourable. This suggests perhaps some kind of divisiveness; if you’re not already in there, do you really want to get in further? Either that, or it’s something closer to what the Leafs and Penguins have: that is, a devotion. Like you’re in or you’re out.
Taking these values together
Because the casual:hardcore ratios are measured as indexes and not absolute values, they say nothing about the actual popularity of the team in question -- Calgary is one of the least popular, which is why I assume it’s so weirdly high up; small sample sizes lead to higher error values!
But we do have the absolute values, so we can measure them against each other.
Tumblr media
If we consider the “In or Out” to be a category of its own while the other four are along more of a continuum, then we can absolutely see a correlation here -- larger fandoms tend to have more involved fanbases.
Players or Teams?
I also asked participants if their guys tended to be players or teams -- and if those they liked at a more casual level tended to be players or teams.
The results are… not particularly surprising.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On a hardcore level, people tended to prefer teams, although the variability was pretty slight. On a casual level, individual players were much more popular.
I also wondered if people who chose more teams in the hardcore fan question tended to do that because they prefer players.
On average, people who picked players on their hardcore level chose 2.1 teams. People who picked teams chose 1.7 teams. That’s definitely a difference!
Fun Shtuff
I got way more write-in responses on the hardcore player/team question than on the casual question, including this:
Tumblr media
Three separate people answered “Minnesota Wild” for their guys and chose no other teams on any level. Hell yes. (One person also did this for the Kings.)
It took about 300 responses before the first Flames fan (at the hardcore level.)
On all three levels, the Seattle Kraken are really popular -- they’re in the top five in each.
What's Next?
If I were to update this survey, I would probably include a question about where all of you are from -- some people (like me) follow their hometown team, while some people most certainly don't (shoutout to the one person from Edmonton who dislikes the Oilers) and others still don't have a hometown team (shoutout to my brasilian + european + etc mutuals and everyone else!!)
Feel free to shoot me an ask if you want me to do anything else with this data -- examine a specific team, give actual casual fan/etc counts and total aggregate rankings, anything else!

"doubt thou the stars are fire // doubt that the sun doth move // doubt truth to be a liar // but never doubt that i love (you)" x gilbert (or whoever you feel fits this best)
-revassierum
Tumblr media
A/N: Gilbert won the poll so the first fic belongs to him.
This is the fic that comes before this one but I think that you can read this on its own.
Gilbert x Reader
WC: 2.3k
Tumblr media
Full quote:
"Doubt thou the stars are fire; doubt that the sun doth move; doubt truth to be a liar; but never doubt I love you. I love thee, I love but thee with a love that shall not die. Till the sun grows cold and the stars grow old. -William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act II, Scene II
Tumblr media
His knuckles, hidden under his black leather gloves, are white as he grasps the cold gray parapet. His eye, red as a hellish comet streaking across a midnight sky, surveys the shapes he can make out below, the ones revealed by the twin luminance of moonlight and torches: the shadowy lines of the encampment tents in front of the castle; light winking weakly off the metal of soldiers’ helmets as they move around. Beyond them the ribbon of pale gray road that disappears into the imposing darkness of the treeline, so dark it drinks in all the light without leaving a single drop.
The road holds his gaze, has every ounce of his attention so thoroughly that he doesn’t react to the man who joins him, the one who is silent as he stares at Gilbert, his expression as stoic as the stone Gilbert’s gloves are so tightly clenching.
After a moment, he speaks.
“Yes, Doctor?”
Walter reaches up, adjusting his glasses.
“The night is chilled. You should be abed, resting for what is to come.”
Few people in the world can speak to Gilbert in such a way, telling him what he should be doing. But Walter is one of them. The man who carries the weight of Obsidian on his broad shoulders doesn’t answer his physician but the tightness of his jawline is enough of a sign that he has heard.
Walter finally turns his head, his pale gaze following Gilbert’s line of sight until he too is looking at the place where the road vanishes into black forest. He remembers a whispered conversation with Roderich, hushed and hurried, quick as a sparrow nervously jumping from branch to branch lest it be snapped up by the jaws of some far-quicker predator.
“If I may speak freely….”
Gilbert waves a hand. “As if that would be something new.” Though there is a faint glimmer of humor in his voice, his gaze is as intensely focused as ever and he does not glance at the doctor.
“You sent her away. Quite….forcefully, if I recall the story.”
That gets his attention. He turns away, a movement as quick and sleek as silvery clouds sliding across the face of the moon.
Walter knows him well enough to read his face. He sees the miniscule flash of surprise in the depths of his crimson eye, the slight drawing of his shoulders. Anyone else would think Gilbert had no reaction. The doctor knows that this particular subject has just set off a cascade of emotion within the Obsidian leader.
“I won’t ask how you know this or else I would be forced to deprive Obsidian of its best healer.” Annoyance lines his words as he turns back to the parapet, as if he cannot help himself, as if staring at the line between the encampment and the forest is necessary. Agitation dances across the tight line of his shoulders, the straight rod of his back.
Walter clears his throat, stifling the urge to place a hand on Gilbert’s arm.
“Rhodolite may be the enemy. But it is where she is safest.”
His statement is met with silence, as cool as the night breeze winding its way across the battlement, Gilbert’s black cloak dancing in its wake.
“I’ve taken my tonic. I believe your presence is no longer required tonight, Doctor.”
The dismissal doesn’t bother Walter. He knows Gilbert has heard him. His dark head bows in deference.
“Gute Nacht,” he murmurs, casting one last look at the man whose life he is charged with keeping safe. He may be responsible for Gilbert's body but there is no doubt that his heart is within someone else’s hands.
Gilbert waits until the doctor’s footsteps fade into the other sounds of nighttime, the ebbing murmur of his soldiers as they retire for the evening, the faint clanking of armor as guards patrol the grounds, the lone, mournful hoot of an owl. Only when he is certain he is alone does he allow his head to drop, eye closing for a brief moment.
There is little that escapes Gilbert von Obsidian. He is three steps ahead of everyone, always, the human mind a complicated puzzle he is adept at solving. And yet, when he sent you away from his tent, you with your starlight tears and petal-soft mouth, when he watched you flee, eyes as wild as a fearful rabbit, when he told you to return home to your roses and your pale-haired king…..he was not entirely certain you would listen.
The doctor is right. It was the more rational choice. But it was not the one that his heart wanted, the one it is still screaming for. You belong with him. You should be his.
He has tasted you, knows the sound of his name when it escapes your lips on a wavering sigh of want. His teeth have sunk into the soft skin of your shoulder, his tongue has traced the line of your neck. He has felt the waves of desire as they ripple through your veins, all because of him. All for him. It is all he has wanted for so very long, all that has consumed him….
And yet he had smiled, sharp as the edge of his sword, and told you to run. Sent you away even as your scent of lavender and roses lingered in his tent, settled across his black mantle like a ghost unable to find peace.
What is he even looking for, out here in the night, as the tents darken one by one like candles blown out by the wind. You are halfway back to your kingdom of roses. You chose home and you chose Chevalier.
So why can’t he tear his gaze away from the darkening road?
It becomes a phantom as the torchlight dims and the moon excuses herself, stepping behind a barricade of clouds. And still he lingers, even as the night air turns cold and unwelcoming, and he feels his muscles contracting in response, struggling to support the cry of his heart to stay….just in case.
Teeth clenched like a beast on the edge of growling, he is about to turn and head inside when he sees it. A shadowy shape bursting out of the black treeline, a spectral horse and rider charging down the ribbon of road.
And he knows.
The castle walls blur as he flies down the spiral stone steps, down down down and then out, past the startled guards. He is a tiger honed in on its prey, eyes flashing with resolve and hunger.
You’re already off your horse, speaking in that voice to a soldier with his sword raised in your direction. You are, after all, a stranger who has just flown into their camp like a banshee.
When he arrives at the scene, the soldier immediately lowers his sword and drops to one knee. Gilbert does not hear any of his stammered words. Instead he reaches out, his gloved fingers closing around your wrist as he pulls you towards the nearest tent.
“Raus,” he orders the soldier who was just getting ready to bed down for the night. The word is iron, undeniable and final. The man gathers his things quicker than he ever has before in his life and exits, the tent flap falling closed behind him with a soft whooshing sound.
It is a simple foot soldier’s dwelling with an oil lantern still burning next to the untouched bedroll. The wan light throws your shadows across the thick canvas walls, moving like images inside a zoetrope.
Gilbert is breathing hard, his chest rising and falling as he struggles to catch his breath, but there is nothing unsteady about the way his eye, the color of wine in moonlight, is fixed on you. With trembling hands you push back the hood of your cloak, white with small red roses embroidered along the hem like drops of blood. Your cheeks are flushed with the urgency and speed of your ride. Your skirts and boots are splattered with mud.
“I know….you warned me to go and I started to.” Your voice is airy but uncontrolled, a tornado forcing its way past your throat. “I got just past the border and stopped at a tavern to rest the horse. Rhodolite soldiers were there, several tankards in, and they were bragging…they’re coming, Gilbert. At first dawn they’ll be here.”
You step forward, your hands reaching to gather the soft folds of his black cloak, fingers curling into it as it could steady you, a bulwark against the storm of information you need to tell him.
“They have weapons. They intercepted an Obsidian transport and they have guns.” He hasn’t said a word yet, hasn’t had a chance in the face of all the words you’re hurling at him but now you pause, searching his face. “Gilbert, did you hear me? They have-”
He finally moves, twisting his leather glove off his hand and tossing it aside fecklessly. The next thing you feel is the cool touch of his palm against your cheek, his fingers curling to cup your face.
“You’re here.”
The words are husky, maybe because he is still catching his breath. Maybe because he can’t believe it.  Or maybe because he can and he’s basking in the confirmation of his prediction.
“I…..” You need him to understand the urgency of what you are telling him and yet his hand feels so good. The last time he touched you that hand was at your throat. Now it is cradling your face with a gentleness just as dangerous.
Your words drop to a whisper. “Gilbert…..they’re coming and they–” And then, as he raises his other hand to his lips, biting into the tip of his glove and removing it with his teeth, the truth hits you like an avalanche careening down a mountain. The encampment here. Gilbert occupying a castle so close to the border and not heading home.
“You already knew.”
And now he’s holding your face in both hands, the coolness of his skin paradoxically sending waves of something unbearably hot through your limbs.
“But you didn’t. And you came back, risking everything to tell me.”
The world begins and ends in the red of his eye, the fall of dark hair across his pale forehead. Something inside you breaks, shatters like stained glass struck by stone. You reach up, curling your hands around his wrists.
“I….I couldn’t live with the thought that something could happen to you….I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t try to stop it, even if it meant-”
The rest is stopped by the savage press of his mouth against yours. He will not even allow you to finish that sentence. The grip of his hands tightens as he hungrily swallows any other words you wanted to say, as he drinks deeply from the gasps of your lungs and the moans of your throat. Over and over he devours you while still holding you between his hands, your own having gone slack at the very first kiss.
He kisses you until your lips ache from the crush of his mouth, the sting of his teeth. Your tongue is full of him, the rich, cool taste of him. It is the sweetest nectar, ambrosia as heady as the starlit sky. It leaves you spinning with satisfaction, dizzy with content. And yet, it leaves you parched, always seeking more and more and more of him as the hot winds of desire blow through your veins.
Gilbert is the one to break away, to gasp a lungful of air, feeling the absence of your lips as keenly as any ache. His eye burns like a singular star, swallowing up the darkness.
“Retreat to the castle.” His hands roam your body as he speaks the order, as if he can’t help but touch you even as he demands you to leave him. “The cellar is safeguarded. My men will go with you-”
You shake your head vehemently, capturing his hands in yours, holding them hostage in your own tight grip.
"I have turned against my country for you. I was ready to face whatever hell awaited me here if it meant keeping you safe.” Your voice is low, trembling as it skirts the bedrock of emotion in your chest. “I'm damn well not leaving your side now."
He recognizes a mind as sharp as his own, a will as iron. As much as he has craved your gentle heart, your kind spirit, those soft, beautiful parts of you, he is equally as drawn to the steel in your nerves, the forge of determination in your bright eyes.
He could have you sent away, dragged by his soldiers down to the underbelly of the castle where you would be safe. But as he reaches up, cradling the nape of your neck with one hand, he realizes you are right. After all, who could protect you as well as him? Who but him would trample the world for you? Would set the night ablaze before allowing anyone or anything to harm you?
One arm winds its way around your waist and pulls you close. He leans down, his lips brushing the sensitive shell of your ear. His voice is hushed, but rough, gravelly with emotion.
"When all this is over, my brave Häschen, I will reward you.” He catches your earlobe between his white teeth, his heart fluttering at your gasp. “Over and over until your voice is hoarse with the sound of my name."
There is no time to catch the breath his words have robbed you off. The distant warning of cannon fire fills the night and the encampment is coming awake, following the carefully laid-out plan in preparation for what is coming.
“Come.” And with your fingers linked with his, you step out of the tent together, into the foreboding night.

Listen I can’t finish it tonight but I’m real real close but next week is gonna be buuuuuuusy so chapter 15 is right on the line of done and we’ll see if I get it up before next Wednesday 👀
If I do, we may not have a WIP Wednesday next week so again, we shall see
This week, have second place from the poll, Waylon and Danny!
————————
I’ll Take The Highway part vi
Waylon sat back in his seat, back scraping against the wall of the booth as he surveyed the kid in front of him.
Little squirt was tougher ‘n he looked, that much was definitely true. Harley had given him the short run down on their way to the milkshake bar, all the powers she knew he had.
And that he’d been hunted by his folks for a while. Waylon knew how that kinda shit could mess ya up.
He appreciated the heads up too, cuz this kinda shit coming up outta nowhere? Also pretty damn rough. He’d wondered if the kid just wanted to come along for another fight.
If he just wanted another chance to say he’d looked Killer Croc in the eye.
But there was no real bravado there, not even when he challenged Waylon to a rematch. Shit, the kid treated him more normal than most of his henchmen had ever managed to.
Made sense, knowing he was part a ghost an’ fought ghost rogues, but it left Waylon wondering. Apparently he was getting his answer.
Same damn question he’d asked himself a thousand times, ‘specially around the kind of young vigilantes who’d taken a turn to the bad.
Didn’t mean he had a good answer.
He regarded the kid for a long minute, watching the fidgeting, the sudden shyness from a boy who’d literally tackled him from behind on a whim.
This wasn’t just an idle question. Something made him sure of that, and he’d never been involved in all that much of the really weird shit. You heard stories, especially in Arkham.
So he decided to give the kid the best answer he had.
“Cuz I was the worst version of myself. I let myself be the monster they thought I was, got pretty good at it. But it never made me happy.” He paused, mulling it over.
Chuckled softly and looked down into his half drunk milkshake. It was kinda funny how obvious it seemed, in hindsight.
“Shit, there was never even anythin’ I wanted. Not like Penguin, Freeze, or the others. People treated me like a monster so I tried to be one, cuz why the hell not? Couldn’t be worse, could it?”
His gaze shifted back to Danny’s face, watching the kid’s expression. No judgement, which was nice. But he did look confused.
“So you just… got sick of it?” Danny asked, his brows furrowed as he played with his fingers.
Waylon chuckled and shook his head.
“Kinda. Spent a while thinkin’ if people couldn’t treat me with respect, fear’d do. But it ain’t the same. An’ I never had the drive or creative cruelty to stand out in Gotham.”
Danny looked a little incredulous at that, eyebrows rising, but he caught himself before commenting. Snickered and shook his head.
“Yeah, I guess being in a city that’s used to people like Scarecrow and the Joker puts “big and green” into perspective,” he agreed dryly, and Waylon laughed.
It felt good to laugh.
“Oh yeah. City’s got more than its share of low level thugs anyway. I spent a while as extra muscle for the big boys, but I ain’t the takin’ orders sort,” he explained with a modest shrug.
Danny grinned, folding his arms on the table and leaning forward.
“What, a shy and retiring guy like you?” He asked, clearly teasing, and Waylon waved a hand dismissively.
“I’m lucky it was Gotham,” he added after a moment, reflection sobering his mood. “Got sent t’ Arkham. Met Harley. An’ the Bat’s not all that bad. He tried gettin’ me outta the life a couple times.”
Danny cocked his head, a slight frown returning to his face. Following Waylon’s lead.
“How did Batman try and get you out?” There was a little too much intensity for it to be a casual question, and Waylon noted it. Not that he’d figure it out on his own.
Just tryin’ to make sure he didn’t damage the kid.
“Oh, there were a couple ways. Got me moved down to Florida once. Out in the green, away from people. I figured bein’ a wild animal might be more my speed, but it wasn’t. An’ it got messy when I left. Like that whatever he tried, really. There’s lines you can’t uncross.”
Lines like being a cannibal.
Not that he was sobbin’ on a preacher’s shoulder about it. Most of the people he’d eaten were assholes who’d deserved it, and it’d been a preference not a need.
For all people loved to go on about him eatin’ kids and babies, he’d never actually done it. A guy had to have standards.
Made it easy to stop, once he was in a better head space. He and Harley had talked a lotta old shit out.
Kid didn’t need to know those grisly details though, at least not from his own mouth. Watching Danny a moment longer, Waylon came to a decision.
“Look, kid. There’s a lotta reasons people go bad. Some of ‘em can’t be helped. But if they’re not gettin’ anything out of it, if there’s no goal? The appeal runs out. And sometimes all it takes is someone willin’ to reach down an’ haul yer back up to the light.”
He wouldn’t ask if that was the case with whoever the kid wanted to help. Everyone heard stories, ‘specially about heroes meeting their evil selves.
The fear looked personal, but the asking coulda been for anyone. Waylon was in no rush to judge.
Danny mulled over his words for a while, lips moving soundlessly as he frowned down at the table. This time when he looked up, there was a peace in his eyes.
He’d come to a decision. Good for him.
“Thanks, Waylon. You seem like a pretty great guy to me,” he said simply, and Waylon definitely did not feel a lump in his throat.
“This is after years o’ Harley workin’ on me,” he grumbled gruffly. Shaking his head, he slurped down the last of his milkshake quickly.
Nothing like brain freeze to explain being a little misty eyed.

Camping in The Exterior
Hi Everyone! This is a full-length fic based on a post I did a few days ago about the idea. Reader and Levi are not in a relationship yet in this fic. I hope everyone likes it and let me know if you want more or have any ideas/questions about Caption (Y/N) and Caption Levi's relationship.
W.C. 948
———————————————————
Tumblr media
“No Erwin, I’m not letting that man on my squad.” I turned from the kitchen counter; my lips turned downward. The moonlight shined through the window, leaving a glow of shadows on the floor of two bodies. “Keith and I believe this is what would be the best use of Levi. He would be going on my squad, but I do not have room. He has the skill if that is what worries you.” Erwin was not pleased with the conversation at hand. (Y/N) had always been selective of the people on their squad, causing it to be the smallest of any in the survey corps. “I don’t care that he has the skill.” I turn knife in hand from spreading butter on bread, pointing it at Erwin. “I hand pick my squad, terms of me being caption, and now Keith goes back on that. HA! I run the special operations squad, by force might I add, by my terms.” I turn away. “Everything I do for this military, and this is how they repay me.” Erwin smiles, a chuckle rumbling deep from his chest, “I knew you would break; you can’t overlook talent.” He turns to walk away, eyebrows relaxed and pleased with how the conversation went.
*Two Weeks Later*
“I do not understand what we are doing out here. Why has the rest of the squad not joined us?” Levi barked as he rode horseback, growing uncertain about his new captain. “The rest of the squad isn’t joining us. I thought we could get to know each other better. I have special relationships with all my cadets.” “But why are we going to the exterior? What type of mission is this?” (Y/N) fell silent for a moment. It’s not a mission, more of a hazing. “We’re going camping Levi.”
We rode out to the exterior, finding a forest area to set up camp. Start to unpack the tent, screwing the rods together and sticking them into the ground. Levi looked puzzled, “You really meant that we were fucking camping? In the middle of an area that could be filled with titans any minute that we are out here!” (Y/N) glances over at Levi, “If you don’t like it, you can always ride back to base and tell Keith you don’t want to be on my squad anymore. If you’re going to be on my squad then we are going to camp for the night.” I threw the tarp over the polls, finishing the tent. I start looking around for pieces of wood to build a fire, anything to stay warm for the night. “This is fucking unbelievable. Does anyone even know we are out here? Couldn’t this get you de-ranked if we don’t end up dead?” “We won’t die.”
The fire crackles as it burns orange and hot. We sat around it keeping warm as the sun went down for the night, I put a piece of bread on a stick to toast it, in the end only catching it on fire. We sit in uncomfortable silence. Levi shifts back and forth, uncomfortable with the whole situation. I sit and eat my burnt bread when we hear a set of stomps. “That must be a titan,” Levi states as he looks around, trying to spot it. “Oh really? Usually, they sleep at night. Must be an abnormal.” I stay nonchalant about the situation. “If we stay here and leave it alone it should leave us alone. As long as it doesn’t stop us. We could hear a dozen or so tonight alone.” I put down my toast and stretched my arms. I stand and make my way to the tent. “There’s just one tent, so don’t be shy Levi. We’re both adults here.”
Levi sat at the campfire, puzzled by the whole situation. I had heard she was crazy, but this is batshit. If she wanted to die, why bring me out here with her? I crinkle of leave caused Levi to bring his head up. Looking around he spotted the titan, a few feet ahead, staring the campfire down. He used his ODM gear to shoot up into the trees and kept watch. Once the titan was closer to the tent he flew down and sliced the nape of the neck, killing it. Maybe I should stay in the trees and keep watch. At least then nothing could happen to the caption. So as the hours went on and as Titan appropriated, Levi stood watch until the sun started to come up and he saw his caption emerge from the tent.
I looked around puzzled as to where my cadet had gone off to. Did he go back to base during the night and leave me for dead? That's when I heard the ODM gear go off and Levi stood in front of me. “It’s daybreak, can we go now?” With the fire long out and titans to be on the move more frequently, the two packed up their tent and got on their horses to return to base. This trip left Levi with more questions about this caption than he came to the exterior with. Why would they just sleep in that tent when a titan could have eaten them at any moment? Why did they bring me out here to begin with? Does any of this have to do with me being put on their squad and not chosen to be there? (Y/N) on the other hand, had learned everything she needed to know about Levi. He was loyal and wasn’t going to just let their caption die. The question thought was why he cared so much for someone he just met.

nhl x f1 fandom survey results
hello there! about two months ago, @andreisvechnikov and i posted a form meant to gather data from fans on tumblr of both f1 and the nhl so we could take a look at demographics, trends, and then subsequently share interesting corresponding insights.
in total, our form received n = 102 responses — honestly not that great of a sample size for stratifying data by teams when considering that there are 32 nhl teams and 10 f1 teams, so a lot of findings come with a large caveat, but hopefully this post will be interesting to you anyway! (of note is also that all of this data was collected before the nhl regular season began, so hopefully we can rerun this experiment sometime next year when the seasons are running concurrently and see how results have changed then.)
unrelated to our survey, @sergeifyodorov also polled hockey fans on their favorite teams a while back; his results will be referenced as well throughout this post! he was extremely kind and generous enough to send over his data so that we could play around with it on our own, so thank you again for that!!! one last time, please note that our results are not easily comparable because of different sample sizes and team/blog reach (for example: the leafs were heavily underrepresented in our data, but i'm pretty sure it's because the form simply never made its way to that corner of hockeyblr and not because leafs fans are statistically less likely to enjoy f1 LOL...)
without further ado:
DEMOGRAPHICS
"Where do you currently live?" + "How old are you?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
out of 102 participants, an overwhelming amount — 85.3% — live in north/central america or europe, and most respondents were also between the ages of 18-25. since the nhl is based in north america and f1 teams are (mostly) based in europe, i was curious to see how fandom trends varied across these two demographics specifically.
EUROPE VS. AMERICA
"Do you consider yourself more of an F1 or hockey fan?"
Tumblr media
interestingly enough, 2 in 3 of the european respondents said that they like or follow hockey more, with only 15.15% preferring f1. asian and north/central american fans were a little more evenly split, with 38.9% north/central american fans saying they liked f1 and hockey about the same. however, altogether 89.2% of global respondents said that they prefer hockey OR that they like both sports about the same, so it seems that fans in our survey skew more toward hockey in general.
"Do you follow any top-division hockey leagues outside of North America?"
again, since f1 is primarily based in europe and since europe boasts a huge hockey market outside of the nhl, this question was aimed at understanding interest in other top-division hockey leagues outside of north america. more specifically — not anything like the ahl or ncaa but instead leagues like the shl and liiga.
Tumblr media
the majority of the respondents who said they followed top-division hockey outside of north america were, unsurprisingly, based in europe, with over half (54.5%) claiming to follow other leagues and 1 in 4 (24.2%) preferring these to north american hockey.
as for north/central american respondents, a large majority — 85.2% — claimed to not follow any leagues outside of north america. here were the leagues mentioned at least twice:
Tumblr media
"Do you follow professional leagues for any of these following sports?"
for this question, we gave several multiple-option choices of obvious sports and also allowed respondents to submit their own answers if we missed any. here were the most-commonly followed professional sports outside of f1 and the nhl, filtered to at least 2 responses:
Tumblr media
interestingly, football and baseball were on par at 26.5% — or about 1 in 4 — each, although the most common response was actually none; 37.3% of respondents said they only watch hockey and motorsports for professional sports. the sports that received one vote each were: volleyball, tour de france, swimming, pro wrestling, gymnastics, figure skating, cycling, climbing, and australian rules football.
TEAM POPULARITY
NHL STATS
"What is your favorite NHL team?" + "If you like multiple NHL teams, feel free to name any others below." (<;- capped at 3)
in order to rank each team — despite different voting methodology and sample sizes from both surveys — i normalized a popularity score based on a weighted value, composed of how many people voted for it as their favorite team and then how many people mentioned it in the "other teams i like" question. each team was then graded relative to the top team, in our case dallas and in cody's case pittsburgh.
in the table below, the numbers in purple correspond to our survey and the numbers in grey show cody's results as reference. as you can see, toronto is very underrepresented in our data, while dallas is considerably more popular and tops the chart. 3rd-place vancouver was also our most commonly mentioned "other" team with 19 votes, despite only being 6 people's favorite team.
Tumblr media
does this mean that fans of both f1 and hockey are statistically more likely to enjoy dallas than your average hockey fan? or does it just mean that i'm primarily a dallas stars blog and this was the audience i accidentally reached when sharing my survey? (most likely the second) the world may never know!!!
another way of looking at the popularity differences across both surveys is with a little scatter plot. same data, just different presentation!
Tumblr media
F1 STATS
"What is your favorite F1 team?" + "If you like multiple F1 teams, feel free to name any others below."
not much that needs to be explained here — mercedes and ferrari were far and away the favorites, but red bull and mclaren were also fairly popular! the least popular team of all was haas, with only one person mentioning it as a team they liked and no one voting for it as their favorite team.
Tumblr media
interestingly enough, 1 in 3 (34) of respondents said that they had no favorite team at all, with this response scoring higher than any single team (mercedes only had 21 "favorite" votes, although it had 36 total responses). this was a large contrast to the nhl results, where only 6 people answered none for their favorite hockey team — meaning that 94.11% of respondents claimed a favorite nhl team!
(perhaps this means that f1 fans are less likely to be loyal to a team and instead prefer to follow drivers' individual careers, or that team allegiances are simply stronger in hockey fandom. or maybe not! who knows.)
something else i was curious to see concerning the most popular teams was another location distribution, although this time i didn't want to simply calculate percentages straight-up since we already know that the global distribution skews mainly toward north/central america and europe. because of this, i filtered only teams that had n >= 10 votes and calculated the difference for each percentage from the global average, so i could see which teams were more biased toward a location than "expected."
Tumblr media
for f1: ferrari, mclaren, and red bull all had slightly higher american interest than average, with red bull especially skewing lower on the european side.
for hockey: dallas had higher than average interest in oceania, with pittsburgh scoring higher in asia and seattle being especially strong in north/central america (and thus less so in europe). toronto, carolina, and florida also had higher support in europe.
(note again that these are very small sample numbers, especially for teams with less than 20 votes!)
+ just for fun, here's how the top 4 other sports (football, baseball, american football, and basketball) skewed location-wise.
Tumblr media
probably not much of a surprise here, although interestingly europeans were more likely than americans to say they only followed motorsport and hockey.
PLAYER / DRIVER POPULARITY
"Who are your favorite NHL players?" + "Who are your favorite F1 drivers?"
when it came to calculating the most popular players, we asked that survey respondents list up to three of their favorite players, then assigned 3 points to the first player, 2 to the second, and 1 to the third. using this weighted count, i ranked drivers and players using a normalized score.
86 unique nhl players were mentioned for this question. out of them, 84.9% (73) are still actively playing in the nhl. the most popular active players were sidney crosby and quinn hughes, while the most popular inactive player was paul kariya, with 2 mentions and a score of 11.76%.
using the same process, 39 unique f1 drivers were mentioned for this question, this time with 95% (19/20) of the current grid being represented — the only driver not mentioned a single time was nico hülkenberg. the remaining 20 drivers were either retired or reserve drivers. lewis hamilton was far and away the most popular driver in this survey, while the most popular inactive driver was 3rd-placed sebastian vettel with a relative score of 61.18%.
here are the top 25 for each sport alongside their corresponding teams:
Tumblr media
as you can see, the most-represented team in the nhl top-25 is dallas, with 4 players (robertson, hintz, heiskanen, oettinger) making the cut! other teams to have at least 2 athletes in the top 10 are edmonton for the nhl and alphatauri for f1.
F1 X NHL CROSSOVER
this was the main reason we created this survey in the first place. our burning question was: Which F1 teams do fans of certain NHL teams tend to like — and vice versa?
in order to calculate this, i mapped all the nhl teams each respondent voted for to all the f1 teams they voted for, assigning 1 point to each. so if someone had a favorite team and named three "other" liked teams for each sport, that would be 8 points on the matrix altogether. i then filtered out any nhl team that had less than 20 total tallies for f1 teams and created the chart below:
Tumblr media
i also removed "none" votes since i was more interested in the distribution of interest strictly across f1 teams. finally, i filtered out the f1 teams with negligible amounts of votes and created another percentage chart relative to the global average (since we "expect" mercedes and ferrari to be most popular overall):
Tumblr media
some summarizing thoughts:
DAL and VAN fans were both less interested in red bull and ferrari and more interested in mclaren and williams
NJD and PHI both voted less for mercedes; the former preferred ferrari and the latter red bull
CAR didn't have huge discrepancies across the board, but skewed a bit toward red bull and williams
COL had the lowest relative interest in mclaren of all teams, while SEA had the highest relative interest in williams
again, these sample sizes were pretty small so maybe it means nothing at all. i'd love to run this survey again with more responses and maybe also restrict the team choices to only 1 favorite + 1 other team per sport in order to really drill down into people's preferences, but hopefully this is interesting anyway!
FANDOM ORIGINS
i always love learning about how people got into a fandom, so we also asked respondents how they got into f1 and hockey, with the following options being provided:
Grew up around it/Family
Hockey or F1 RPF
Introduced by friends (online or IRL)
Discovered individually through fandom content (gifs, YouTube, podcasts, etc.)
Hockey books & romances (Hockey)
Drive to Survive (F1)
Other films, documentaries, etc.
3 respondents clarified that they specifically discovered hockey through reading the webcomic check, please!, but i decided to implicitly include this in the "hockey books" category. a few of the "other" options for hockey also specifically mentioned the olympics.
here was the distribution of responses, noting that the question was multi-option so there is overlap:
Tumblr media
i also made a side-by-side bar chart to note differences between f1 and hockey origins. in this case, i paired "hockey books/romances" with "drive to survive," since i see them as the two biggest respective examples of mainstream media movements for each fandom (around social media/rps spaces i should say), the former being mainly based in booktok.
Tumblr media
as you can see here, a considerable amount of fans got into f1 through dts (1 in 5). in terms of fanfiction, hockey rpf was a lot more influential in getting people into hockey than f1 rpf was in getting people into f1 (23.7% vs. 11.3%). lastly, hockey was also slightly more common as a childhood/family sport than f1, although only by a few percentage points — 28.9% of fans grew up with hockey and 23.2% grew up with f1.
of course, i couldn't end this question without doing another location analysis, which gave some interesting results:
Tumblr media
for f1, the overwhelming majority of european respondents said that they grew up around f1 or were introduced to it by family — 51.5%, or over half (the chart says 44.7% because of multi-option overlap). in contrast, only 24.1% — or 1 in 4 — of north/central americans said this. their results were much more evenly split in general, with drive to survive and fandom content ranking considerably higher.
Tumblr media
for hockey, the distribution actually looked quite similar between north/central americans and europeans, although americans ranked a little higher in terms of growing up around the sport. it's pretty much the same though — the main difference is that a good chunk of the "other" votes for the europeans specified getting into hockey through the olympics. altogether, respondents from asia, oceania, and south america mostly discovered hockey through a mixture of rpf and hockey books, although these are very small sample sizes so not fully reflective of overall experiences.
OTHER MOTORSPORTS
"What other motorsports do you follow?"
we were also interested in knowing what other kinds of motorsport people liked.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
interestingly, north/central americans had the smallest proportion of f1-exclusive respondents, with 37.7% saying f1 is the only motorsport they follow. here were the series that received at least 10 votes:
Tumblr media
indycar was by far the most popular "other" motorsport series, with motogp, nascar, and general feeder formulae (f2, f3, etc.) faring well too. unsurprisingly, you can also tell at a glance that there is overwhelming american interest in indycar and nascar compared to other series!
CONCLUSION
that's about all we've got at the moment. if there's anything else you'd like to see more of, or anything you're confused about/think doesn't make sense, feel free to reply to this post or shoot me an ask :') thank you again for reading and i hope you enjoyed this little post!!! 🥲❤️

teaching you how to play guitar

Tumblr media
"Do you mind teaching me how to play?"
You finally collected enough courage to come up to him for the first time as your squadron was settling down for the night. Jean Kirstein — elite and revered member of the Survey Corps — took his eyes off the singing strings to meet yours. His quick with movements fingers though kept on fiddling, with precise pinches and harsh strokes to the cords eliciting a lively tune out of otherwise stiff metal. Truly fascinating you found this, alluring even, that his fingers were capable of creating such a lovely thing.
Service had become luck-luster and boring as of late with all the titans eradicated and Survey Corps having nothing better to do other than to sit around on the coast waylaying the currently non-existing Marleyan ships, as you explained to Jean. Then might as well entertain yourself and put the hours into a skill that you'd actually enjoy, you mused.
He agreed surprisingly easy. Amber of his eyes shimmering from the flames of the dying campfire as he suggested you two should meet after the lights-out in his tent. It was bigger than yours anyway and his only tentmate Connie was on the watch duty that night so you could have all the place to yourselves.
At that time you thought that the glint in his eyes was all anticipation at the sight of a near practice session, seeing as Jean found guilty pleasure in patronizing. That smile he gave you as you both parted your ways quickly morphed into an amorous smirk when you weren't looking anymore.
Who'd have thunk that it'd end up with you sprawled on the tarpaulin, mind fuzzy and body sheening with sweat, as Jean kept on spearing your sopping cunt with his fingers.
You'd give him that, he at least had a decency to actually start off with teaching you. Positioning himself behind you on the floor as you were holding a guitar, his arms going over yours to guide your movements. You were such a diligent student. Your eyes following each motion of his fingers in an attempt to recreate it afterwards, asking him to go through each chord step-by-step slowly this time and turning your pretty face to him in search of approval each time you got the sound right.
It wasn't like Jean wasn't enjoying teaching you. Just that his thoughts weren't exclusively dedicated to the process. Blame it on the pretty much non-existent distance between your ass and his crotch, your giddy with excitement wriggles coiling him even further. Jean nearly hissed at the feeling of his cock growing hard and heavy against the groove of your ass. The Scout uniform was already damningly form-hugging but now with the arousal taking form there surely wasn't a way for you to not notice it.
And notice it you did. Fucking hell. You couldn't help but to feel pleased with yourself. It's not every day that you get a chance to fuck Jean Kirstein. You leaned against him even more, trying to feel upon the outline of his cock.
Maybe you might've actually learned something about playing guitar this night. Too bad your body was pressing against his a little too hard for Jean's composure to last more than a few minutes before finally snapping. His mind giving way to the intrusive thoughts of your image he succumbed to the urge of planting hot wet kisses down your neck. Caught up by surprise you shuddered with pleasure each time his lips crushed into your supple skin, his mouth burning hot and greedy. Yet another avid caress captivating your lips, you felt Jean's hands pry the guitar away from your grasp and putting it aside as he intended on having you only to himself this night.
"Jean!" you gasped almost jerking at his mere touch to your core once he finally had you bare beneath him, "Your fingers, they're too rough"
The curve of his lips gained a feigned sympathetic expression as he brought his fingertips to his mouth to wet them.
"That's how it's gonna be though," he sweetened your sudden discontent with his tongue licking away at your entrance, "Playing the strings got my pads all rough. But these fingers are meant to last so by the time I'm done with you'll be numb with pleasure"
As you'd come to know very shortly he wasn't the one to be throwing promises around.
His touch remained just as rough. The callouses on his fingertips bullying your sensitive flesh to no end. The whimpers and mewls falling past the brim of your bitten lips Jean drank up with such poise and pleasure as if he wasn't the one to cause them with every drag of his digits against your gummy walls. The solace you found in seeing scarlet stripes your nails left on his shoulders was although sweet yet not enough to forget about your discomfort. All you were left to do is to writhe and whine in a futile attempt to escape his merciless caresses.
But the way he was putting his fingers to use — good grief. As if possessing a hidden knowledge of your body all this time, Jean knew the exact points to hit to make you a squirming mess under his touch. Avid precision to his strokes, he never missed that sweet spot, the pressure he applied just right for your pleasure to get at its peak.
"Now, is that what gets you going sweet thing?" He'd coo at you each time he brought your features to a new stage of twisted pleasure, "Keep those pretty eyes open for me, would you?"
Bliss and pain mixing together in a ontradictory concoction, you felt as if your body would soon shut down.
The first time you came on his fingers, it was unexpected. Orgasm creeping up behind the waves pain and crushing over you in shudders. Ever so gracious, Jean helped you ride out your high, his body towering over yours and his lips covering your contorted face in quick pecks as he indulges you into another kiss.
"Jean," you carded your clammy fingers aimlessly through his hair, trying to get your fleeing mind some sort of purchase, "That was so good"
"I know," through the squint of your eyes you can see him smirk down at you, beaming with benevolence, "Boring life of a Scout, my ass. Just come to my tent every now and then and see how quickly you'd forget your complaints"
Your orgasm leaving you still so sensitive, you quickly noticed how his fingers returned to rubbing circles round your bud of nerves. Your clit still angry and puffy, it hurt so much each time his rough fingerpads did so much as brushed up slightly against your core.
With an intruding kiss he shushed your huffs of protest, "Oh, sweet thing I'm not done with you yet. Haven't you heard me the first time?" his hot breath searing the shell of your ear. "You'll be numb with pleasure"
The man of his word, he kept you up in the tent for almost all night drawing orgasm after orgasm out of your feeble body. Prying you open and discovering the new layers of bliss in you you've never even known of before.
How beautiful he was looking down at you, lulling your distress away with his attentive touch and caress. Like a string of his guitar he had you pinned down, left at the mercy of his never-resting fingers. Impeccable strokes succumbing your body to his will, whimpers and moans chording a sweet melody to his ears.
And just as promised, your mind was a haze, your flesh a putty under his touch by the end of the night. It seemed as your body had no bones, so pliable for him. As he held your trembling form close to his chest he kissed away the salt from your cheeks — the only remnants of your former soreness on your otherwise painted with bliss features.
"Such a sweet thing for me," you smiled lazily at his words, "Coming undone on my fingers like that. The next time I'm teaching you playing guitar, you're going to be riding my dick all throughout"

I've actually had polls for over a week now but I only got the idea to use it just now
This is just a survey to help me gauge the amount of followers (or ppl in general ig) I have who know about my AU. I've been limiting myself a bit on drawing more about them lately because I don't have a firm grasp on how much are familiar or not with the contexts involved especially with the sudden influx of newcomers in this blog so here we are
If you answered no to the poll and are curious on what it's about, check out the following links:

Lakshya Jain and Giacomo Squatriti at Split Ticket:
Over the course of this election cycle, perhaps no single demographic has received more attention than young voters, which many polls now suggest to be increasingly Trump-curious. This has been observed alongside a similarly shocking swing toward Biden among elderly voters. If these surveys are correct, then our political landscape would be undergoing an incredible, unprecedented age-based shift in public opinion, despite 2024 being a rematch election in a period of record polarization. To better understand and test this notion, we conducted two surveys. The first was a small, but focused, poll of 255 young voters, weighted by race, gender, and partisanship to be representative of the age group, with respondents probabilistically sampled from a voter file and interviewed, crucially, via live texting.
The second was a national poll of registered voters with a youth oversample, done through an opt-in web panel. This non-probability methodology is an increasingly prevalent way of conducting polls — organizations like YouGov, Data For Progress, and Morning Consult use these types of panels. As online opt-in panel methodologies have gotten more popular, their proponents have pointed to their strengths: quick field times, large sample sizes, more diverse respondents, and (of course) lower costs. But these methodologies may also have pitfalls, especially because they compromise the basic tenet of probability-based sampling (that every individual in the population has an equal probability of being in the sample) and the anonymity of their respondents may yield poorer-quality data. We decided to do this analysis in order to compare this non-probability methodology to our (probability-based) voter file study conducted via live text.
This latest poll was fielded between March 25th and 28th, had a sample size of n=847 registered voters and a margin of error of ±3.37%, and was weighted by race, gender, region, age, education, and 2020 vote. To facilitate proper analysis of the youth vote, we oversampled young voters (n=300) in this survey and weighted the oversample internally by race, gender, education and 2020 vote. And to ensure that young voters didn’t comprise a disproportionately high share of the electorate, we weighted them to the appropriate electorate share for the final results. So, what did this national poll say about 2024? Among all voters, Donald Trump leads the field with 39% to Biden’s 37% of the vote. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. comes in at a distant third, with 11% of the vote. Around 10% of Americans are still undecided, and a further 3% say they would not vote if these candidates are the only ones on the ballot.
When the undecided voters are pushed, the candidate shares rise to 41% for Trump, 40% for Biden, and 16% for RFK Jr. Interestingly, this Trump lead comes despite Democrats actually leading Republicans on the generic ballot, 44% to 42% (though neither are statistically significant leads).
The topline itself probably doesn’t come as a big surprise — this result is broadly in line with the vast majority of recent polls. A more interesting result, however, is found in the youth vote, because the national, opt-in panel-based survey yielded drastically different results from the live texting poll for voters under 30. As a reminder, our live texting survey suggested minimal gains for Donald Trump among young voters in both favorability and vote share. While president Joe Biden remained deeply unpopular with this demographic, the support that he lost went to RFK Jr. or to abstentions, rather than to Trump. This is why Biden led Trump among young voters in our previous survey, 35% to 25%. Importantly, while those voters broadly disliked Biden in our text-based survey, their antipathy towards him was much lower than it was towards Trump, whom a full 61% of young voters viewed “very unfavorably”. This explained why Trump’s vote share remained so low despite Biden’s incredibly poor approvals — young voters strongly disliked the former more than they did the latter. It also explained the surprisingly high vote share for RFK Jr. (23%), as a large chunk of disaffected voters seemed to view him as an outlet for a “protest vote”.
The online panel, however, was entirely different. In this survey, Donald Trump narrowly won young voters outright, getting 34% of the vote. In doing so, he eclipses Joe Biden’s 32% share and RFK Jr.’s 18%. Pushing undecided voters doesn’t change these numbers much. When undecideds are pushed, Trump gets 37% among young voters, compared to Biden’s 36% and RFK Jr.’s 24%. In this survey, Trump gets a considerably higher share of the vote overall, and the young respondents seem significantly more “Trump-curious” — his favorability with young voters registers at a relatively high 39%, which is virtually identical to his overall favorability of 40% in our survey.
Essentially, the opt-in panel methodology appears to yield very different results from the oversample live-texting poll, and it is mostly centered around differences in young voter opinions of Donald Trump (though it may be worth pointing out that even Biden’s “strongly favorable” rating is significantly higher in the panel, at 11%, than it is in the text-based survey, where it sits at an abysmal 3%).
Split Ticket takes a look at crosstab chaos we're seeing in polling that is oversampling of Trump-curious young voters and also of senior citizen Biden voters. Polling methodology differences are playing a role, such as live texting v. online opt-in polling.
