Tried to keep it gender neutral, but I don’t really edit these. So lemme know if I missed the mark.

Shownu

Your height is really what captivated him in the first place. Also the fact that you weren’t afraid to wear heels. A lot of your earlier talks were about him saying that you looked great in heels and asking about your confidence to actually enjoy being tall and femme. You found it really cute and an honor honestly, that he was so interested. It just sort of came naturally when you found a love of heels despite what everyone said.

“Do you want me to stop wearing them?” You had asked him.

“No. I want you to wear more of them.” He smiled.

And that’s when you knew you loved him.

Wonho

He had known you mostly from being a bodyguard for him and the other members of Monsta X, but hadn’t told you until recently that he liked you. Of course, you thought that he was kidding, playing with the feelings of the taller than average bodyguard. He had decided to go from casual compliments to giving you flowers whenever you two met up for the day. You told him such a relationship was highly inappropriate.

“Even if you work for someone else, I’ll still make sure to send you flowers. If I have to hire someone else for you to believe me, then I will.”

“Wonho, seriously. I’ve seen your ideal type, and it’s not me.” You told him.

He furrowed his brows, “You’re the only type I want, Y/N.”

Minhyuk

Your bf could be stubborn about the most stubborn things. Lately, he had been setting things higher than usual because he didn’t want you to have to reach lower than usual in order to get them. Even after you assured him this wasn’t a problem, he kept setting the plates on the highest shelf even though he had to get on his tip toes to do so. You shook your head and said you were going to take a shower.

Seconds after you turned around, you heard a crash. Cups had shattered all around your lovely boyfriend who just looked at the mess and then back to you.

“Maybe we can just use the middle shelf.” He said.

“Uh-huh.” You rolled your eyes with a smile. “I’ll go get the broom.”

Kihyun

“Ah, jagiya. You’re so tall.” He said when he first laid eyes on you.

This was the first time you two were meeting in person. The two of you had skyped and talked through text, but he had never seen you standing up before. He had to look up in order to meet your eyes. It made you a bit shy and insecure because he seemed to be the type of guy to like someone who was shorter than him. However, he didn’t say anything except smile and hold your hand.

The idol placed a kiss upon it and thanked you. He was thanking you for being tall? Gosh, you really loved him. You couldn’t help but blush which made him smile even more.

Hyungwon

Something had been bothering you lately. Your boyfriend noticed how uncomfortable you got when people pointed and stared at you, asking your height while on dates together while he hid his face in order not to get recognized. He wasn’t sure what to do as you sighed on the couch just staring at the bamboo shoots on the windowsill of the living room. One was much taller than the other. You weren’t one to say if you were uncomfortable, but he had to do something.

“Jagiya, stand up. You be little spoon today.” He said as he laid where you had been and opened his arms to you.

“W-what? No. Wouldn’t that be uncomfortable? I’m taller, so I should--”

Your love shook his head and told you to hurry up. He said he liked this way a lot and he felt you smile against his arm. Hyungwon said he loved you and you responded saying that you loved him more.

Joohoney

He wrote a song called “My Fiance is Taller than Yours” for your birthday party. It was all compliments about how you could reach things that he couldn’t and how he adored you, but you couldn’t help but get sort of insecure that he was just talking about how tall you were. You honestly were about to tell him to stop until he started saying how much he loved all the parts about you. It was just the first verse that was about your height.

Then he looked up at you once he was done, “How’d I do, Y/N?” he asked.

You kissed him right on the lips, “It’s my favorite gift ever, jagiya. Thank you so much.”

I.M

“...Changkyun, sweetie, what are you doing?” You asked when you saw him in platforms.

“I’m trying something new. It must suck that you have to bend down to kiss me every time, so I want to make it easier for you.” He said.

Although he tried to go throughout the date in the tall shoes, you had to save him several times from falling over and cracking his face open on the pavement. The two of you returned from your date earlier than planned because he needed to change his shoes. He apologized, but you just smiled and kissed him because he had been trying to be so thoughtful.
