shout-out to people who fit the demonised DID stereotypes seen in movies & other media:
if you have violent &/or aggressive alters, i love you.
if you have complete blackout amnesia between alters, i love you.
if you have little to no communication between alters, i love you.
if your switches are overt & "distressing to witness", i love you.
if you've ever been called "scary", a "freak", or even "evil" for how your DID presents, i love you so much.
your experiences are real. you do not have to sugar-coat your disorder to make it more palatable for others. your brain helped you survive as best it could, so i hope you will find peace & healing when the worst is over. 🤍

I will never get over Angel's entire attitude change when Charlie gets into his work. How when he's asking her to leave before Val shows up he's frantic and pleading because he doesn't want her to get hurt and I just... *punches wall* I love them so much.
Genuinely, this episode broke me a little. It's so clear Angel cares about Charlie more than he lets on.
Like putting aside the fact that she probably COULD kick Vals ass, Angel knows what kind of person she is and the fact that he was willing to put himself in harms way to defend her is so wjdoefjkdmfekkf GOD
It's such a good glimpse of the kind of person he is. Charlie was one of the first and only people to see good in him. She cared when he felt like no one else did, and you can see how hard that stuck with him.
I know the prequel comics have all been archived, but the one about how Angel first met Charlie and Vaggie was always my favorite, and I can't help but think about it during this episode
There's a lot more to you than what you think there is, Angel!"
(I know this comic isn't canon anymore, but still fun stuff to chew on. And by fun i mean im in pain LOL)

You see Umineko fans do this but in reverse. When an Umineko fan notices another piece of media has anything in common with Umineko they too say "this is just like Umineko", though not to shun it, but to celebrate it for anything that is vaguely Umineko shaped makes them very excited and happy.

no one should force you to:
switch.
tell them who is fronting.
give them your alter count.
tell them what trauma caused your CDD.
go to therapy if you are not ready yet.
list your alters' names, ages or roles.
change the language you prefer to use for your experiences (unless that language is genuinely harmful).
assign/have a host alter.
go searching for your trauma if you do not remember it.
forgive those who hurt you if you do not want to.
disclose an introject alter's source.
be open about your system/alters.
hide your system/alters.
use PK or SP.
use plural language when you prefer to be treated as one.
use singular language when you prefer to be treated as multiple.
if someone expects you to do something, you do not have to do it just because some other pwCDDs are fine with it. you deserve autonomy & the ability to choose what you will/won't reveal or do. no one should take that from you. 🤍

when asked what nanami thinks of geto becoming a curse user gege said “nanami can’t say he blames him for switching” and i think it shows how understanding nanami is and despite not being one of the main characters imo he’s one of the best written ones cause he doesn’t follow any cliche, he’s a rebel in a suit
