ok so currently on S4 of my rewatch and I'm actually losing my mind I forgot how much I love the list scene. I think it just sums up bellarke's whole dynamic and how they feel about e/o soooo well!

like ik people joke about how Bellamy was 99 on the list when if Clarke really loved him he would have been first but no because: Clarke Is The Head!!!

Bellamy doesn't need to be on the list cos there are already leaders on the list and his specialties that helped the 100 survive in S1 (like protection from grounders, fighting, hunting, etc.) won't really be useful/integral. he's not an engineer or a doctor or anything like that so obviously he's not on the list and yet she! puts! him! anyway! (because she can't bring herself not to so she puts it off until she has to 😭)

and so Bellamy being the heart and driven by his emotions just straight up refuses to survive if Clarke doesn't and she lets him write her name. I just love the whole scene because it reflects so well what they do for each other, they can't forgive themselves so they forgive each other and they can't accept that they should survive themselves so they! save! each! other!

basically they're in love, soulmates, etc. :)
