not to out myself but seven from infamous isn't even that bad 🤓 why is everyone coming after them lmaooo imagine u getting kicked out of your own band and them still being successful nah I'd be worse
#and every interaction w them has been sure distant but whaaaat am I missing#so far I went after every ro and it's been fun#the outrage from asks I've seen from the authors blog is hilarious now that ik whats going on
THIS!!! seven’s reaction about the band fight is realistic- they feel hurt and acted according to how they feel (even if they hate mc which makes sense with their personality. like. i understand ppl are hurt by seven’s feelings towards mc currently but it makes sense for seven as a character lmao- they feel a lot and express it a lot! does that mean mc deserves the amount of seven’s bitterness? well not really? maybe? i don’t know. i try to see both sides tbh but i feel like i understand seven more tbh. and they have been distant but as a defence mechanism and also BOTB is eagerly waiting for them both to interact and i feel like the last thing seven wants rn is more drama😭)
sorry for this ramble i just wanted to state my thoughts! :D
yeah, I agree their reaction makes sense considering the history. I don't even get the vibe that seven hates the mc? I might be in the minority here but the one POV scene we've gotten from seven just shows how conflicted they are and how they can't help themself with falling back into the mcs orbit -- that's at least how I read it.
their bitterness isn't even that bitter. maybe I'm just used to more drama and toxicity from other IFs or books in general I've read but they're just hurt. like that's it. Idk if I played it wrong or something but even playing a mc that's still in love with seven and it's not that bad. that's not me saying the mc deserves it either way and I've definitely played for max drama with some of the choices I picked but at the end of the day their interactions have been distant but ok.
maybe I'm really just someone that loves maximum messiness but I don't see it in their route (despite us still being just at the beginning).

No bc fuck tim but it really really bothers me how people ignore his growth like he used to be an asshole and I’ll give tim Stans one thing: now he’s so so so stale but what I disagree with is that this staleness is bc nobody likes him like it’s in fact the exact opposite where everyone likes him so much they dont want to do anything. Even when it’s him surface level challenging Bruce it’s when everyone else is doing it too; but he’s still the backbone of the fam! Etc. and it’s so irritating bc him gaining more compassion and empathy even for people he doesn’t fw is so fun to watch and that’s why the captain boomerang thing was so out of character! (Not in a from the author way but in a tim wouldn’t do that and he and Bruce both knew it which is why it went down like it did. Same way dick killing joker was ooc; not in fanon sense but in a he would hate himself forever for this sense) and speaking of that it’s such an interesting mirror to Bruce who genuinely believes that everyone can grow vs Tim’s it doesn’t matter if they grow it’s not my decision to make like it’s the same but it’s not AND WITH CASS’ IT DOESNT MATTER IF THEY CHOOSE NOT TO GROW I WONT DO IT! like ugh. And anyways even when people acknowledge it they boil it down to “Janet and Jack taught him that the capitalist pigs that they are” like no. This is who tim was. Tim was the kind of guy who’d blame a dead kid for dying. That’s ok. Also Janet and Jack? Please reread anything involving them that’s not a fic like Jack had anger issues and they were both aloof at worst like relax.

i hate how ppl use are you feminist? as a question whose response means something™ like idk man i support human rights and that's it. are women humans? then great i support their rights as i do all other human beings. i think it's more of a red flag when people start hard and fast emphasizing their support of a specific branch of human rights and not the whole of human rights if that makes sense. that's why you get people who support queer rights but think anti-queer palestinians should die. the only question should ever be do your support human rights? you can argue back and forth about who gets to use the label woman but you can't argue about whether any human being is a human and since they are a human they deserve to have their humans rights respected and fulfilled. it's not to say that identifying as a supporter of a specific minority group is outright wrong and specific groups help to emphasize the specific needs that are still withheld from that group which is important and necessary. but acting as if there's some like higher merit in someone specifying i'm an x rights activist as opposed to saying i'm a human rights activist makes no sense to me personally.

hm. i've been quiet abt it bc i don't really like being negative on here but honestly the new furby design is. disappointing idk. absolutely nothing against people who like it ofc, and there are def some cute aspects. but it sucks to see that the design is so far removed from original furbies and just doesn't have the same charm idk. the connect was already straying pretty far but honestly i kinda like connects bc the shapes are cute but. idk the 2023 furbs just seem like they're trying to hard to be cutesy and it just feels sort of forced?? if it appeals to kids and young people get to enjoy it that's awesome and honestly that's kind of the point. but i do get why people are unhappy with it. like in regards certain aspects like the eyes the fixed beak & the way it's like. super difficult to take apart bc of the clips and stuff. i can totally see why a lot of customizers especially aren't happy with it. i'm sure lots of people have said the exact same stuff but yeah overall i feel like. relatively neutral to the whole thing idk it's nice to see furbies being produced and sold again and yeah it is cute but i get why people aren't loving it. that said ofc there are people who do love it and that's totally okay. regardless if you love it or hate it what's not okay is people within the community being rude to each other based on whether they like it or not cmon. it's not for everyone but if people do like it that's their business and there's no need to be rude!!! but on the other hand if people have complaints about it they should be allowed to voice that as long as they're not being mean yknow. letting it cause a rift in the community is silly. but anyways
