I've meant to revisit this spectacular dress ever since it first featured in Coeli's picks, and since today was Hedy Lamarr's birthday, this seems an appropriate time. Delilah wears a jaw-dropping array of costumes in this film, each one more sumptuous than the last. Just when you think they couldn't possibly top the last one, she shows up for the finale in this peacock gown!

The cape is lavishly adorned with real feathers. Legend says they were "donated" by the peacocks owned by Paramount Studios!

The costume was part of Debbie Reynolds' collection, and it has survived in remarkably good condition.

this man most def has 2 kids idky but he does—and their names are not name saked at all except the last one.

This ain’t the 1950s Jake drilled into his son’s head that their mother and sister aren’t maids and they don’t pick up after him unless they want to.

When Ivy first got her period she thought her father would be digusted or feel awkward hearing the words period in the a sentence but not Jake Seresin hell no.“Sweetheart it’s natural it also would be unmanly of me if i couldn’t handle hearing the word period— hell me and mama track her period’s together”. Jake flashed his signature dumbass grin at Ivy, don’t doubt for a minute he wasn’t proud of himself of that last line.

this man right here is so opened to hearing anything whether a kid or kids are getting in trouble he’ll hear their side first. Jake wants his children to have the options he didn’t have growing up. if the kids tell him a secret he won’t share it with his wife unless it’s life threatening.

when RJ comes out to his dad— Rj expecting a violent tongue lash instead (of course) he’s gets squished to death by his dad. “Son I’m glad you feel safe enough to tell me, and I’m also glad you considered me a safe place— I love you so much kiddo”.

when rj got made fun of for wearing his robin cape at seven years old. Jake showed up in the front office with a batman cape, and picked up his son and took him to a local dinner and ate food their wearing the cape. “Don’t ever let someone tear you down like that kid”.

the man is very empathetic when comes to kids especially when their sick. the first time ivy came down with a cold, y/n found her husband infront of their daughters crib with tears in his eyes

By heart he knows what time his kids were born at.
