500 Follower Raffle

I've never done something like this on Tumblr, so bear with me.

I want to say thank you so much to the 500 people who have decided to stick with my blog! (even though I only post, like, once a month)

As thanks, I'm going to hold a raffle where the winners will get a finished artwork of their character.

I'll pick a few winners on August 21st. (I can't pick that many since university is starting soon and I won't have that much time to draw)

To enter the raffle, reblog this post or message me with a reference of your character and tell me any specific pose or background you would like. (Don't send an ask cause I might accidentally delete it) If you don't have any specific pose or background requests I'll pick one.

References aren't necessary, but if you don't have one you'll have to describe your character's appearance and personality in detail.

Any artwork I create for this is for personal non-commercial use only (you can use it as a profile picture or background or whatnot, but can't sell it.)

To celebrate, I'd like to propose a small raffle with a drawing as a reward.

The rules to enter are simple :

1/ Like this post

2/ Reblog this post with your character's visual references.

→ FFXIV characters only please. → Modded or vanilla characters alike are welcome.

3/ Bonus entry because I love to discover more about people's OCs: if you feel like talking about your character, adding a little fact about them or else, i'll add your name a 2nd time.

Following is welcomed, but not required, so do not feel pressured of you're just interested in the raffle.

How I'll pick winners : Randomly ! I'll be registering your username in a random drawing machine to see who won.

How many winners ? Right now, I consider picking 1 or 2 persons. Though, depending on how many people entered the raffle, I'll consider adding more winners.

What can you win ? I don't know what form of drawing I'll be offering, so by entering this raffle, you accept to receive a surprise. Format can be different between winners though I'll try to keep things alike for the sake of not doing preferences. I really don't know the format I'll be offering as I usually decide while drawing.

No examples of what there is to win ? The primary aims to this blog is to ask questions so you can all share about your characters and encourage people interacting with each other. I choose to not promote my artblog here even if the raffle is art-reward based as it is not the aim of this blog. Thank you so much to everyone who followed me over these past couple of years. I'm still baffled that I've reached 500. It means a lot to me! I wanted to use this opportunity to give back to you.

I wanted to try an art raffle. Only rules are as follows:

-One Entry per Person

-Must be following me to win

-Dont just follow me to unfollow after this competition, as that's not very fair to me or the other people who have followed me for a long time.

-I will draw one character for you. Can be from a show or movie. I'd prefer it to be a show or movie I am familiar with, like from my favorite Fandom(s), but I will also draw from other series too. Please provide a reference if it is not from one of my main Fandoms so I can be sure to get it right!

I just saw that it's the one year anniversary of the blog! I also saw an anon or two step out to tell you they love your content and kinda wanted to do the same. Only difference is that I, for some reason, prefer to be Identifiable most of the time

I haven't been here for all of it, and I don't think I've made myself known for anything more than liking a bunch of your content, but I wanted to let you know that your writing is AMAZING. That it's interesting and wanted and enjoyed, and that for people like me and all the lurking anons and SO MANY MORE, seeing your stuff, even if we've already seen it, honestly makes a person's entire day.

I wanna be honest; right now, this period of time in my life, might be the most difficult I've ever experienced, emotionally speaking. Things are hard, and coping is harder. And I know it's not just me out there having a hard time, either. What I mean to achieve by saying this is that in spite of it, I find myself a little more at peace just reading through the blog here.

Genuinely! It may seem silly that an xReader blog based on characters for fan content of fan content, can be a source of stability for anyone, but it is!

I have access to a miniature library of niche content that feels like it's just for me, and that makes me feel wanted , important and special, even knowing that all these interactions I'm reading are fictional in their entirety. And sharing this niche interest with other people? Knowing that I am not the only one completely enchanted by these stories and left feeling less alone in the world, is exhilarating!

AND YOU'RE THE CREATOR.

Everyone knows how good it feels to get an "Oh, I like this" kinda comment for their stuff, and that the more said about the content the better you feel. Here, I feel like it is SO IMPORTANT that I make it absolutely clear how much I like this, though. YOU make people happy, YOU create content people treasure completely, YOU leave people feeling all silly and giggly and special.

This is what marks a YEAR of total success! And I REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT SO MANY OF US ARE SO HAPPY YOU ARE HERE!!! We are SO HAPPY you do what you do, SO HAPPY you write and create and interact, SO HAPPY that you just love the fans you've attracted and make friends with everyone!!! ugh fine okay you guys i'll do the thing nobody asked for.

i'm doing an art raffle or something! i have officially forfeited all of my sanity and will now tell you what that means.

for every 5000 notes I have by the end of february i'll do one (1) piece of art. what it is shall be voted on somehow. i'm not sure how, but probably something like asking you guys for ideas and then doing polls until it's done and we have the amount we need. i will also do one (1) art piece per 500 followers. and, since i'm feeling generous and disbelieving in all of you, if we hit like 20000 notes or 2000 followers by then i'll add five more to the count, on top of the one (1) you would've got already. so, if we get for example, 14000 notes and 1100 followers somehow, then i'll do 4 art pieces. and if, somehow, you dimwits get me to 40000 notes and 2500 followers or something else stupid, then that'll be like 23 masterful works of art.
