Wild daisies tickled Merlin’s cheek as he turned to Lancelot. He watched intently the clouds swim by above the tree canopy.

“That one,” he pointed. “That looks like a dragon.”

Merlin tried to find it. “You’re making stuff up now.”

“I see a dragon. You have to do it.”

Merlin huffed a laugh and shook his head. He cupped his hands, and with sunlight he created a tiny golden dragon— one that actually looked like the part. When Lancelot reached for it, it perched on his finger.

Merlin watched him smile before saying, “Your turn.”

Lancelot bit his lip. He cupped his hands the same way Merlin had done it and whispered, “Draca.”

Lancelot’s eyes glowed the sunset, then in his palms appeared a creature more or less similar to a wyvern. It was deformed and ugly, and it didn't fly.

“I love it,” Merlin said. Lancelot tried to make it move and laughed when it fell off his hand. It disappeared when he stopped looking at it.

Lancelot kissed him. It tasted like cherries. When they pulled away, Merlin raised a hand and reshaped the cloud— only slightly. Only noticeable to them.

“Any other tricks under your sleeve?” Lancelot asked.

“Yeah,” Merlin brought a hand to his cheek. “Many.”

“Is that so?”

He hummed, then pulled him close to kiss him again. The clouds and the magic could wait.

You were spending some time on the couch with your boyfriend- Harbor, watching a movie in the living area of the Valorant HQ. You had a habit of not really asking for things, instead just taking them, so when you decided mid movie that you wanted to put on his zip up hoodie this was no exception.

Climbing up out of his warm grasp you sat on the top of the couch behind Harbor and tugged on his hoodie, a small chuckle left the man as you managed to tug his jacket off him.

"You know you could've just asked?" He said, a sweet smile tracing his face as you settled back into his arms, his jacket now on your back. "What's the fun in that?" You ask, a teasing grin on your face.

Neglecting to respond he instead decided the best course of action to be pulling you all the way up into his lap, pressing kisses all over your neck and face. "stahhAAAAaapppp-" you giggled, not really wanting it to stop.

Buck gives off goes for a run and cooks in the morning energy but also he’s a disaster bisexual so as a fellow disaster bisexual I choose to headcanon that he is at his most unbearable in the morning, chugs down coffee and is disoriented for a good hour type of thing

So ofc eddie would be endlessly fond of this because he’s been up for ages and has just been giving utter heart eyes at sleeping snoring buck and now is met with awake slightly unbearable buck

2. First of all, the PTA loves him and who can blame them, but back to buddie, I think to Eddie it’s such a calming thing to be able to rely on another person like that, to be able to delegate or anything without feeling guilty or like you’re a bad parent, like he can trust Buck with the fun stuff but also the heavy stuff, but also with some of the 1,000 little responsibilities and obligations of parenthood and it’s just this relief and like equilibrium to it of being part of a unit

3. I’m a SLUT for eyes, I don’t know what I can say though honestly you’ve seen them, Eddie definitely is pro buck wearing light blue tops because they do in fact do the Zoey deschanel in 100 days of summer effect

4. I feel like Eddie will have very mixed feelings on marriage, I think a part of him has a lot of guilt and resentment toward the institution of marriage, I think to him a part of him sees his to Shannon marriage as the start of the end for them.

Buck we know wants to be someone’s husband SO bad, like bro came out of margret’s evil womb probably asking for an apron and some kids of his own, jokes aside I think that Buck’s abandonment issues and lack of self esteem longs for this BECAUSE in his eyes it’s the connotations of being chosen and being kept, like to him marriage is saying “out of everyone in the world I choose you and I’m never gonna leave you” so I think it’s very important to him and the idea of not having that eventually would definitely make his insecurities go brrrr

So I’m an AVID enjoyer of all the fics where Eddie is very aware of this and like it’s a thing™️ in their relationship- before the self healing ensues and Eddie realises it’s different this time

i’m a little split between jaytim & jaysteph for this—working in a throuple could be really cool. i’m thinking jason is ofc from the park row area. it’s being hit hard by the rise in crime; his parents having been middle class but poverty hitting them when his mom gets sick / his dad gets fired, or in debt to the wrong people. jason’s life is turned upside down as a kid, watching his dad fall deeper & deeper into crime. at first he was determined not to follow the same path but as he gets older, he gets more jaded, and much like in canon decides to stop crime by controlling it.

steph is a flapper—heavily involved in feminist circles, rebelling against the life she was raised for. her father is maybe an early actor, though he falls out of grace for,,, idk, reasons. her mother got hooked on drugs in part due to the stars & producers they hung out with. anyway, steph is determined to make something of herself.

tim—

i think the drakes are newish money, so there’s some stigma among the rest of high society. he never wanted to take over his parent’s business, despite his razor sharp mind, but when they die in a tragic accident he has no choice. his paths cross with both steph & jay.

jay is pro-feminism from the start i think; tim has some stuff to unlearn. bit of conflict there, but they manage to work through it. i’m picturing them somehow all getting tangled up together.

jason is trying to unseat black mask or penguin or joker or—someone from the top seat. or. okay, maybe that’s ambitious, so let’s just go with black mask. black mask isn’t the ~top~ criminal in the city but he’s up there, and he’s jason’s first target now that he’s got his own following. sionis is competing with drake industries and viewed tim as a non-issue, figuring DI would dissolve after janet & jack died, so he arranged their deaths. tim discovers this during some digging, because he has a bad feeling about their deaths.

steph is tangled up in it too—her own vendetta with mask maybe, or mask being obsessed with her somehow? or maybe she’s just. guilty by association ig, and once she learns what’s going on ends up involved despite herself.

i’m not sure how i would / if i would work in the others; it would maybe come up as needed?

but yeah, basically a very… noir (?) type tale of intrigue & danger & love that isn’t a the best of ideas but is irresistible nonetheless.
