once again coming back to apologize for my inactivity, I've not only been depressed but also burnt out of tumblr 🫠 I haven't been motivated to check tumblr and haven't really cared (as much as I love it here) to just reblog and wtv. Today was a really hot day (for me) and if the rest of the week or month looks like this, then definitely do not expect anything from me (especially as we ease into spring and eventually enter summer), hot weather is my mortal enemy and it's like im fighting demons nonstop whenever summer/late spring rolls around so... yea.

on top of that I just haven't used my laptop in a couple of days LMAO after the play on Saturday, I was absolutely knocked out for all of Sunday and the last two days I've been playing red dead redemption 2, which I've really been enjoying 🙃🙃 which means eventually when I get back to tumblr will probably be rbing rdr2 stuff lmao

cut is just me rambling about the next two games I'm planning on playing after rdr2

also I currently have a line of games (and by line, I mean 2 games LMAO) I'm seriously looking forward to playing on my Xbox/Laptop-

First game is skyrim, I LOVEDDDD playing it on my switch, but I haven't played it properly for sooo long, but I recently saw that skyrim is free on gamepass and will definitely be installing it on my laptop 🥹 Granted, my character in skyrim is veryyyy op and it'll be upsetting to have to restart but whatevs! I just have to do what I always do and power thru battles that are intended for higher levels- and also grind pickpocketing cuz I can NOT live without that skill LMAO

Second game is a well-loved game of mine, ARK, I've played well over 500 hours on my phone and well over 250 hours on my switch (which ofc I enjoyed infinitely more, but nothing beats the nostalgia of mobile ARK LMAO), and when I TELL you I was elated to see it for free on gamepass, I mean it cuz I was SOO giddy, of course I know rdr2 will take bloody forever to finish (at the rate I'm going) but I'm just so excited to play it, especially since I think all the expansions are free as well, which means I can play genesis without paying for it (since I bought the other expansions on my switch- aberration FTW btw)

#anyways! my little life update i suppose #i feel bad letting this tumblr die down #but life is life and such means that i cannot exist on tumblr 25/8 like i used to #on a diff note. i wont be posting anything about rdr2 cuz im just too lazy #and its on my xbox so trying to get screenshots from point a (xbox) to point b (laptop) will def be too tedious for me #i have to say that i am NOTT a controller savant. ive always been better at playing on keyboard and mouse #so trying to play a game like rdr2 on a controller with barely any grasp of aiming on controller...#yea its just SUCH a fun time for me 😞😞 usually i never have aim assist on but with rdr2... i have to have it on to even figure out where-#-someone is cuz i can barely bloody see with how slow the aimed sensitivity is #“you can change i-” I DID. ITS ON THE HIGHEST SETTING AND ITS STILL TOO SLOW FOR ME 😭#im not even bad at aiming or finding ppl or wtv. i had a 2 or 3 K/D ratio on cod mobile (i was a mobile gamer for so long 😭)-#so again its just that im not well versed in using a controller cuz i normally do nott have the problems i do on keyboard and mouse-#-that i do on controller #yapping

Tbh this post and the tag comments keeps making me think because; it truly seems like some fellas don't know how to control their own knee jerk reactions to weird people

And its like- I can be an asshole. I get Asshole thoughts all the time. I see an stranger being a bit weird or awkward in a way i dont like and monke brain goes "lmao we should maul this guy". But what is what one must do? Not just follow the natural instinct, but instead pause and reflect "oh but is this fella doing anything harmful? Are they insulting me or messing with me? Am i strongly disagreeing with an opinion of theirs? Or are they just being themselves and having fun in a way i don't vibe with?" Dont just act based on feelings but instead reflect on them and then figure out a way to react accordingly.

If a person is just living their life then the best thing to do is not to antagonize them but rather just let them do whatever, or communicate directly what the issue is and see how both of you can find a way to solve it and coexist peacefully, all while venting the frustration through a diff outlet that won't harm the other.

And like i know its not that simple- a lot of this branch of thought comes from me having nasty social anxiety, and also the fact that i do can slip and be, well, an asshole. I am absolutely no saint. But the point is that your discomfort with another person isn't a permision into attacking them and there are better solutions than that

#me rambles #this one turned out very rambly woops. but yea that post wouldnt leave my head #idk im on that funny diet autismos spot #where i both know the horrors of butchered social interactions to the point of nasty anxiety whenever i mess up the social script #but also can navigate them pretty well most of the time. and also have grown that sort of-#'well put more effort into it and get over it' mentality that comes with being told im 'normal' just 'lazy an anxious'#and tbh that stubborn mentality has helped me to push through. but it can also make me unempathetic with others struggles. even with my own #bc its frustrating to me that you cant just solve shit w willpower even when logically you cant. but i cant move that frustration to-#the ppl struggling bc it'd solve nothing and i'd be harming them further. it would be awful #so the point is to not just act on feels bc they can be harmful. but instead think before acting. not neglecting those feels but rerouting-#them into harmless or helpful actions #anyways. this turned into self reflection so yea that's why the self centered language. still; apologies if it gets grating #delete later #i guess?

also again to ppl who know me and folks who dont anyway, i still like u regardless of if we're mutuals or not so, genuinely sorry it feels like this year i'm kinda more unhinged and unstable than usual. believe me i know, and idk. trying to put into words. it is getting easier to talk about mental health, i think roleplaying and writing again really has made that easier for me to communicate certain feelings and going ons in my head, i guess i just dont like people being in the crossfire. so if i ever say any crazy shit in the spur of any kind of breakdown anywhere, do know i WILL be fine, i often end up fine, i just again, way more unstable than usual and for that im super sorry. a lot of folks have been very kind about it, and it means a lot, i guess what im tryna say is that this might be by new norm for a bit and i bitterly accept this and do whatever i can. i just want to preface that no one is in any capacity to feel responsible for me. if i say something crazy DO assume im working it out and im trying to get it together, dont feel bad for me ykwim. just be like. Damn that guys losing his mind. sucks. because i PROMISE you ill be fine.

i have acid reflux issues (makes breathing feel weird if i haven’t taken antacids) and chronic pain (leads to fatigue) and don’t always realise when im hungry or full (leading to irregular eating). doesn’t help that when they all act up at once they’re the main group of thyroid cancer symptoms i had

#im normal and fine and it’s probably fine i just don’t trust my doctors now so i’m a lil more nervous about this #and my blood tests were all normal too so every time they’re like ‘yea ur blood tests were normal’ that doesn’t mean anything to me #im just a lil put off by my dr not knowing my case when we went in but making recommendations anyway #and then i haven’t had the greatest time with his office as a whole #but again. there’s reasons for all of it. like the acid reflux makes the top of my mouth hurt so when i breathe and the air passes it can #feel weird. and chronic pain plus not having a thyroid can account for the fatigue. and not having much of an appitite can make sense when I #often don’t realise when im hungry or full. and none of it is the exact same as what i felt when i still had the tumour #vent tw #cancer tw #im like a vampire but not and also worse

#the producer is the one from sing again...cant say im a fan of sing again's format even tho i rec the show (1st season)#but it's a whole new series so i'm excited!! jtbc always focuses more on the music side and like behinds process of the performance #so that makes me happy bc that's the whole reason why i watch survival shows like just for the creative processes and cross interactions #this one seems like they're competing as groups the show isn't wanting to make a ''new'' reboot group or anything #so i guess it'll lean close to mnet's kingdom gig?? but jtbc has to do better than that omg that show was.....it was a show i guess #but has jtbc ever done a full blown idol survival show?? all the ones i've watched some have idols in them but the focus is not idols #mostly just unknown/indie/normal people which creates a naturally organic atmosphere i think #anyways i like the more organic artist focus jtbc usually does for their shows so im so excited tryna think which groups would go on omg #but i feel too many groups i knew of are too old for this now but jtbc does pull a pretty different crowd compared to mnet #also their channel audience skews older (that can also be a reason they don't do the drama edits lmao) like the target seems late 20's-40's #so maybe the older groups will come out!! fingers crossed!!#i feel it won't be just 4th gen like it has to have 3rd gen there who knows which gen will be the predominate but that seems like fun #i don't think the stages will be on the scale of mnet and 3rd gen did not have the same performance dance oriented focus #so i wonder how the stages will look what the song choices will be will their be cross group stages despite it being a group vs group show #i think i'm going to have so much to say when more info comes out we still have a long time unless they plan on airing in jan or feb #whatever first half means to them but yea i will be going feral in the text posts #delete #tea talks
