Fernando Alonso to Aston Martin in 2023 means Oscar Piastri to Alpine in 2022!

This low key seems like a great deal for everyone: For Vettel who is leaving by his own choice, for Aston Martin who gets a world champion in their team that also boasts the team image, for Alonso who also gets his own image boasted as he goes to AM, for Alpine as they now have a free spot for Oscar Piastri which they have been desperately looking for and this spot is in their own team, and for Oscar Piastri himself because now he has a realistic chance and risks less to go in Williams!

And yes, I am aware that it is uncertain whether Piastri will go to Alpine in 2023 but aside from Williams(as a likely replacement for Latifi) and Alfa Romeo (in case they decide to move Zhou to Alpine) , this is the most direct option so far and even though they have a hard time finding him something valuable to do this year, the Renault Sport Academy cares about having him and that’s undeniable.

people love the idea of you have to make enemies to succeed in f1 and be mean and "bite or get bitten". calling male drivers clear pettiness, lack of accountability and lack of intelligence "cunty" but when it's a woman doing not even half of that she's called every name in the book and is delusional and doesn't deserve her seat and is a pick me even if she's good she's not because she's a woman. going through sophia tags and most of them is just hate and some of it is obsessive hate. i know people love to jump to say so you can't criticize her just because she's a woman and accuse you of babying the woman but most of the criticism I see that she gets are misogynistic but people criticize her because "she's a pick me" and "is not like other girls" if you're gonna be mad at least reflect first and do it right. a lot of people don't want a woman in this sport and if they do they want a perfect angel girl that would not threaten their golden boys or someone to throw their fantasies on or be their punching bag in the name of being "honest and fair".

Okay, apparently some drivers have commented on the Horner situation in the press conference... I haven't watched it yet, but I've read what they said and saw the disappointed reaction from fans online and I just feel beaten.

Cause no matter how hard we women fight for a place in this world and in this motorsport community, men will always be men.

Even the men that we look up to and want to watch every week, they are no different.

Susie almost lost her job over 1 rumour, but Horner will walk away unharmed (and even pitied by certain people) from evidence-based accusations. That just shows not only how F1 apparently works these days, but it's a painful mirror of our society.

These drivers that are "just here to do their job", yeah, so was she. How do you expect her to continue doing her job now? With all these reactions online and not a single drop of empathy?

These "noise and distractions" are what ruined a woman's life. And that was ruined by someone who walks in the same paddock as all the drivers' girlfriends, wives, daughters, nieces, sisters, and this week, even the entire F1 Academy paddock. They are women that are making a place for themselves in this sport, an example for all young girls, and this is how the drivers treat them.

They don't care because he was "always great to them" and that's just men being men unfortunately.

I'm sorry for this outburst, I just scrolled on Twitter when I woke up and felt so disappointed. I know it's not all drivers because we'll always have Lewis on our side. But that's not a suprise because Lewis is the only driver that truly cares about equality and diversity in the sport, and I admire him so much for that. Lewis is an ally, a brother, and a friend in a world full of men.
