“The dust from the old newspaper slides down and makes L/uke sneeze repeatedly.”
— Another actual quote from the game
Happy Birthday to my favourite of the guys from T/ear/s o/f Th/emis, the detective himself 🔎
From what we get from him in the game, he seems to be sensitive to dust. What a fun little quirk for a guy who handles antiques in his store and does secret agent-type stuff in addition to his detective work~

I love my beautiful darling little antiques... I just need to learn more about maintanance for things like reel to reels! I love my big ol reel to reel... It's so beautiful. I'm so glad I found it with the little milk crate of tapes too!! All of them are either severely mislabeled or... not labelled at all! So it is always a mystery... always in the 60s-70s range though! It's such a treat..
What reel will I get today! Classical music? Oldies artists I've not heard of before that I'll become obsessed with? Or those reels full of yearning love songs of hopeless romantics? I love it oh I could go on and on... I desprately want to share it with the world but I'm not quite sure how! Or if people would enjoy it as much as I do...

ive seen people 1 or 2 times have simon go back to Looking For Ancient Artifacts after the end of adventure time and 1. i think that’s so true he’s absolutely out there on wild quests to catalogue old junk and sometimes its cool important magic stuff from the past 1000 years and sometimes its seriously old stuff from a very very long time ago and sometime it’s “um. That’s an iphone” but 2. THATS SO FUNNY. THE IDEA OF THAT IS SO FUNNY. I KNOW ITS WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH HIS LIFE BUT THE LAST TIME HE DID THAT IT WENT EXTREMELY BAD

For those of you curious, this is what figure 1 looks like. How splendid!
The book is "A Textbook of Chemistry" by Le Roy Clark Cooley, published in 1869. It was actually made for Harvard University, but let's just say there was some cross talk. You can find the entire text for free here!
