Age: 24
Species: Demon (lion shape shifter)
Backstory: A child, no older than six, held the hand of their older brother tight, his presence their only source of comfort at the moment. "Louis, I'm scared. What are we doing here? We're not supposed to be outside this late. Mom and Dad are going to be upset."
The person in question a fourteen year old just shushed the child.
"I have to look after you and I need to meet up with my friends for something, so you're coming with me" He explained. The both of them walk for about an hour, arriving in the middle of nowhere.
Louis starts looking for his friend, and soon finds them, walking in their direction while dragging their younger sibling along.
There are three of them. One of them waves at Louis, while another scoffs at the sight of the six year old.
"Did you have to bring them here?"
"Yeah, my parents are busy and I'm supposed to be watching over them."
"Well, I hope they don't come crying from how scared they'll be after this."
The child looks at their brother in confusion. What were they doing that would make them scared? They were already scared, it was so dark here and they were not used to being outside at this time.
"You got everything?" One of them asks, and another nods.
" What if it actually works? What if one of us actually turns into a demon?" The last one, worried about how this might be a bad idea, says.
"Pfft. Don't tell me you actually believe in this stuff. We're just messing around! We always do. Come on, Brice, just relax.
"I just don't think we should be messing with something like this." Brice commented.
"If you're a coward just leave."
While the two argued, the child stayed silent, drowsy from staying up later than they were used to. They yawned, struggling to stay awake.
Louis shook their shoulder. "Hey! Don't fall asleep here! I don't want to have to carry you all the way back."
"Sorry" The child mumbled, yawning again.
The group of friend drew a pentagram on the floor with some sheep blood, and put various stuff around it, and one of them starting to read words for a piece of paper they had brought for this. Before they were halfway through, a gunshot was heard not too far.
Suddenly very awake, and very scared, the child got closer to their brother, subsequently getting closer to the pentagram, their feet in the circle. No one had seemed to notice.
All five of them stayed still, waiting for something to happen. After nothing happened after a few minutes, they just carried on.
To say the child was scared would be undermining how terrified they really were. Yet they couldn't say anything, just watch as the symbols on the floor starting glowing.
"Wait, it's working?" Louis asked, incredulous.
"I told you we shouldn't be messing with this stuff! Let's get out of here!" Brice said. And so they did. Well, almost all of them.
"I can't move!" The child cried out, trying to get away.
"What?" Louis went up to them and pulled on their arms, but it was like the child was completely stuck to the ground.
"What is happening?!"
"I told you! See, I told you this was a bad idea!"
Another gunshot was heard, this time even closer. All three of Louis' friend started running for their lives, fleeing the scene while Louis was still trying to pull his sibling away from the circle.
Suddenly, he let go, with an expression of pain, holding his hand close to himself.
"You're burning!"
Louis, still not wanting to give up, put their jacket around their hand as protection, but the clothe was quickly engulfed in flames and reduces to ashes.
The child was crying, terrified. And now they were in pain, it was like their entire body was on fire.
"I'm scared" They cried, looking at their brother. Louis looked at them, knowing there was nothing he could do. He hugged them, despite how much it burned.
"I'm so sorry" He said, as his body was engulfed in flames and started burning away.
"Louis!" The child cried, horrified.
Soon, there was nothing left of their brother, nothing but ashes.
Falling to their knees, the child sobbed, unaware this morning that they would be losing their brother.
They were still in agonizing pain, and soon they passed out as the transformation took place.
A few hours later, they regained consciousness, the memory of the previous day blurry.
The pain was gone, and they looked around. Everything came back to them as they saw their brother's ashes. They turned to the side, vomiting.
And then they saw. Their skin had turned blue. Looking at their hands, they blinked, thinking maybe this was all just a bad dream. But no. They solo noticed they also had a tail and horns now.
They got up slowly, unable to process all the emotions they were feeling, and started walking. And walking.
They walked for hours, maybe days, hiding when people came by.
Unknown to them, both them and their brother now had missing posters.
After what seemed like forever, they made it to something that wasn't a village. Zombillenium. They had heard about it, and thought that they could be safer here than amongst humans.
In the middle of the night, they tried to climb the fence, but were quickly caught by the minotaurs.
"I'm sorry!" The demon child apologized, trying to hide. When they realized that this was not a human, the minotaurs' attitude completely changed from annoyed to concerned.
"Hey, come here. Who are you? What's your name?"
"My name? I..I can't remember." It was like anything before that day was slowly fading out. Their name was not something they could remember.
"Really? This isn't good."
"I'll call Francis and tell him what happened"
Francis was shocked to see another demon so young. He knew Astaroth, who was seven at the time, but he had thought he would be in presence of another demon so young.
Knowing they didn't have anywhere to live, Francis let the child stay at Zombillenium
They all soon found a name for them, after hearing how they couldn't remember their original name. Aydhara.

Aydhara is not the same kind of demon as Aurelien or Astaroth. The spell used by their brother and his friends that day actually makes the person that enters the circle into a demon without selling their soul to any existing demon. In a way, they are selling their soul back to themself
Unlike Aurelien or Astaroth, the kind of demon Aydhara is can not acquire other people's soul by contracts. Therefore, they would not be able to be director of Zombillenium.
But, it also works in reverse. Demons, like Behemoth,can not acquire their soul through a contract, because Aydhara is already in a unsigned contract with themself by the ritual made that day.
Legally, Aydhara has no contract tying them to Zombillenium. They are only working there because it was their safest option to be at the time.

it's really nice to write with you and to talk to you on discord, you're i also really really like aydhara and their design and can wait for them and eath to become buddies- after eath escapes the park that is, if she does, who knows she might get stuck there and then we have an AU to explore 👀
