So I just finished the Infernal Devices for the first time!

I finished TMI 4 years and ik of the Infernal Devices, but never really got the time to read Infernal Devices, but I finally broke and bought all three books and read them, and GODS I'M IN LOVE! I feel like someone ripped my heart out and healed it for me, but could never put it back, because it lives in the words and the pages, the fights and the declarations, the sass and the love that live in these pages. Gods, I can't believe I've been living in such painful ignorance, and I'm so happy I've found these books!

I'm re-reading TMI for the 4th time, and had started The Infernal Devices after finishing the City of Glass, and the epilogue of the Clockwork Princess makes me want to desperately finish the last 3 books in TMI to reach the epilogue of City of Heavenly Fire and see Tessa and Jem and Church (GODS I LOVE CHURCH).

I loved seeing Magnus here, so different, speaking Victorian English and being beautiful as always, and I loved seeing Jem (or Brother Zachariah as I knew him from TMI) and who he actually is and I saw who Tessa was and I finally understood who she was in City of Glass and finally Heavenly Fire! And, when Jem says "I will tell you the story of it. Another story of Lightwoods and Herondales and Fairchilds.", I'm telling you I screamed and cried at the same time, because gods, I fell in love with all of them again so hard!😭♥️

I see traces of Will in Jace, and Charolette in Clary, and Gideon in Alec and I feel myself falling in love all over again! So thank you such @cassandraclare, because you have created such a beautiful world for so many people, and I find so much solace from Cecy and Tessa, and Clary and Izzy, and Sophie and I thank you so much for that!

This was a completely uncalled-for rant, and I apologise from the bottom of my heart, BUT BY THE ANGEL I'M IN LOVE😭😭❤️
