IIIIKKKKEEEEEEEE. oh my GOOOOODDDDD if i didn't have a type he would've been my favorite just bc of THE EYEBROW PIERCING! we've gone full circle lads! and i love how tcb-mama did his hair and helped him write. especially because his old hair hides the piercing so well that's so funny. and he looks so comfy eeee. this is a guy that you would've seen volunteering to read stories to children in a barnes and noble in the mid 2000s. like this is the guy in a corny schworny teen/college rom com that's the female lead's best friend since childhood and always roots for her even when she starts dating this guy that totally doesn't get her at all and when he breaks her heart he's the one to remind her that she's so deserving of love and someone that actually does care about her and who knows maybe he could be in this room riiiiight nowwwwww. like this is a guy that draws eyes in the margins of his notes

i'll be the first to admit he's grown on me but i'm so sorry mysta. the outfit is peak british and whenever i see him in the coat and monocle i feel like i'm about to be asked about my world cup team. the suspenders and his necklaces are amazing tho. and his hat it's so goofy but adorable i love it

fun fact: Coinky-Dink World is in my top 3 EQG shorts simply because of how much I love the idea of Pinkie working in a 50′s diner. It’s an idea so perfect that if I came up with it on my own I’d be discouraged from it.

Alrighty, don’t know if you’re taking asks right now or not…

But, shit’s getting really bad with the whole Roe v. Wade abortion thing and as a woman, I’m deeply scared at what all this is gonna mean and what could happen if I get pregnant one day, especially with an illness where I can’t get pregnant or shit could get really bad for me and the baby.

This entire thing has been clouding my mind and putting a damper on my mood (especially my right-wing mom, who seems to have no problem with the fact that HUMAN RIGHTS ARE SLOWLY AND SURELY BEING TAKEN FROM US).

Magical girl shows are usually my form of entertainment and cope. I got addicted to them in middle school because at both school and home I faced issues that made me feel as though I wasn’t smart enough or that I only existed to cause problems for my family and everyone around me and magical girl shows gave me that hope that I could become someone greater one day or that maybe there was someone out there fighting for me (and what a coinky dink that I got infatuated with Loki years later that rekindled that idea that someone was out there fighting for me.)

I even made a small rewrite of Magical Girl Raising Project on my sideblog, so I was wondering if you had any good MG shows that I could watch to keep my mind off the fact that my country is being run by clowns. All I’m looking for is mindless happiness and bright glitter to make me feel like the young girl I once was in the early 2010s, far too busy watching tv and playing with Legos to pay attention to the outside world.

Well, anything but Madoka Magica and its lookalikes is fair game.

Look, realistically speaking, this doesn't affect me much because I'm not american; however, that doesn't mean I'm not worried about my US followers/mutuals. I just think that beating yourself up for something that's not your fault/way beyond your control is not a good thing to do.

There's a damn good reason why I don't keep up with the news nowadays. I've become completely apathetic towards whatever awful thing is happening in the world. Just tell me whatever catastrophe is happening, and then leave!

Honestly, I am so done.

And let's not forget one thing here: Humans are spiteful and stubborn little creatures. Even if the odds are against their favor, they always will find a way to fight back, or just to get by.

In other words: Civil unrest.

Though it would be nice if someone just went apeshit and murdered conservative politicians in cold blood; any horrible and cruel death to greedy snobs is fair game now. My well of patience and compassion ran dry after the pandemic, anyone who threatens the well-being of an innocent should perish, and I do not mean this as a funny meme.

And this goes without saying, but abortions are universally legal in Wondaria, no matter if the pregnancy is risky or not. It is a personal choice, and no one should interfere.

I think the point was all three of these ladies’ have press or buzz surrounded this specific event. Like if you search each person’s name and tribeca film festival 2022 you’ll find that they were there in some capacity.

These came before Forgotten Friendship, so I should have done these a week ago.

There’s a bunch of shorts to go through, though it is pretty simple. I’m guessing these take place at random times between the first movie and Forgotten Friendship. Like it honestly feels like some of these shorts were during Pony Twilight’s time in the Human World. Specifically the first three shorts. I’ll let you decide if that’s the case or not.

First is Make Up Shake Up and Rarity gets to apply makeup to Applejack. On the night of the Fall Formal. In their first movie outfits. These are some of the shorts I think were during the first movie. After a while, Applejack got makeup on, but after AJ suggested removing some it basically is back to no makeup.

The second short is Raise the Roof where it's Applejack Vs Rainbow Dash in a Dance Battle. You know how it goes. The winner of the Dance Contest is Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. The animation kind of looks more fluid than the movies. Like if it was animated like the movie, using the Equestria Girl assets. Maybe it's just me.

After that is A Photo Booth Story. The girls try to take a picture together, but Photo Finish is Photo Finish. You know how that goes if you saw the last Equestria Girls short with her. With a recreation of the Sonic Rainboom episode. After that is Steps of Pep, where Pinkie Pie cheers on any group, regardless of sport or activity. Fluttershy is also there so you can guess how these shorts go. Also, Rarity is in the Wondertones, as well as the Rainbooms...

I’m gonna save the music videos for last so I’m skipping them for now. So Pet Project is next and the girls are gonna take pictures of their pets for a Charity Calendar. Sunset Shimmer can’t participate since she doesn’t have a pet. But seeing them all with pets makes her want one. And when Fluttershy hears this, she drops everything to get Sunset one. She picks a lizard and Ray joins the Pet crew.

Subs Rock is next and Celestia tries to be a substitute teacher, but she keeps getting interrupted. By the time everything is settled, the class is over. Poor Celestia. The Art of Friendship is next and Pinkie is trying to figure out what to paint. Sunset makes a suggestion about finding inspiration and Pinkie tries to. She eventually decides to paint Sunset. Very similarly to Izzy in G5 when she gets in the creative streak.

The Canterlot Movie Club, likely taking place after Mirror Magic, The CMC just saw the Daring Do movie 5 times and want to see it a 6th time. But Gummy is missing and Pinkie is asking them for help. They find Gummy in the Crane Game and win him. Again, some scenes seem a lot more animated than normal. Leaping Off the Page is Rainbow Dash reading a book and fantasizing about being Daring Do. Shame she forgot she was supposed to hang out with her friends.

Next is Epic Fails and it's basically a collection of embarrassing moments with the seven. And that’s the last of the shorts. Now for the music videos. There are six of them this time. Mad Twience is about building Spike a Girlfriend while she sings about trying to figure out love. It's alright, but not really my cup of tea. But do you know what is my cup of tea? No, not a cup of tea.

Monday Blues is a really good song in my book. And the Music video is really nice as it is Sunset and Twilight trying to go to school in their own ways. All the while things don’t go their way. Shake Things Up is an Applejack song when she’s on the job. It's pretty good. Get the Show on the Road is next and it's with the Rainbooms. They got to fix up a bus so it can be their tour bus. It's alright. Again, not my cup of tea.

Coinky-Dink World is a Pinkie Song about her working her job. It got an old school vibe to it. I think it is fine. Not on my i-pod but still pretty good. I doubt I’ll listen to this again on my own though. And our final song is Good Vibes. It's a Rainboom Song and shows how kindness can spread. It is really nice. Maybe I’ll add it to my i-pod if I find a clean version. Still, Monday Blues is my favorite out of these music videos.

Overall, they were simple but nice. Perfectly harmless. Though if you’re like me, you may notice the increased animation in some of these shorts. I wonder what the story is behind those. Like maybe more frames of animation or trying to be more dynamic. These should be fine to include in GLAB’s version of Equesira Girls.

So I was browsing the BOTW tag the other day, and came across this post by @imdrunkontea. I showed it to my wife, and she immediately declared that we needed a print. So, I messaged the artist, and when I mentioned that I'm a fan of their Equestria Girls work, they threw in a 50s Diner Pinkie print for a nominal fee!
