Dean Winchester stood under the steaming hot water, letting the spray cascade over his tired muscles. The hunt had been rough, and he welcomed the soothing embrace of the shower.
Just as he reached for the soap, a familiar flutter of wings announced Castiel's arrival. Dean's eyes widened in disbelief as the angel materialized right in the bathroom, his signature trench coat billowing behind him.
"Dude, what the hell?!" Dean yelped, hastily covering his modesty with one hand while fumbling for the shower curtain with the other.
Castiel tilted his head in confusion, his blue eyes innocent. "I apologize, Dean. I did not realize this was an inappropriate moment. I merely wished to inquire about our next hunt."
"Inappropriate? You think?!" Dean sputtered, the water continuing to drench him as he struggled to maintain some semblance of privacy. "Cas, I'm in the freakin' shower!"
Castiel blinked, as if processing the concept. "Ah, I see. Humans have a cultural taboo against nudity in certain contexts. My apologies, Dean. I shall wait outside."
As quickly as he had appeared, Castiel vanished, leaving Dean to sigh in relief. He shook his head, muttering to himself as he resumed his shower routine.
Minutes later, just as Dean was finally starting to relax again, the sound of fluttering wings filled the air once more. This time, however, Castiel remained outside the bathroom door, his voice muffled through the wood.
"Dean, I believe I have solved the case of the missing socks in the laundry room. It appears to be the work of a mischievous poltergeist."
Dean chuckled despite himself, the absurdity of the situation washing away the tension of the hunt. "Thanks, Cas. We'll deal with it when I'm not... you know, naked."
"Understood, Dean. I shall await your convenience." With that, Castiel's presence receded, leaving Dean to finish his shower in peace.
As he dried off and got dressed, Dean couldn't help but shake his head at the angel's complete lack of boundaries. But deep down, he knew he wouldn't have it any other way. After all, what were friends for if not to blip into your bathroom and chat about poltergeists while you were stark naked?

Look at me, such a happy little sexist with this list. I guess I like men (1-10), I like them pretty (all, but esp. 1,4,5,8,9) and I like them just a little mean and bitchy but with a secret heart of gold (2,3,6,7,8,9,10). Some have not secret hearts of gold (1,4,5).
I even like them kind of petty and shallow as long as they have a character arc where they get a lot less shallow (esp. #8, 9, 10).

In the dimly lit corridors of the bunker, Castiel stumbled upon an unexpected discovery—a small, fluffy creature with curious eyes and a playful demeanor. Bewildered by its presence, he scooped up the cat in his arms and made his way back to Dean, whose attention was fixated on the latest lore book.
"Dean," Castiel announced in his usual deadpan tone, "I have found a... creature. I am uncertain of its origin, but I believe we should keep it."
Dean's eyes darted from the book to Castiel, then to the furball nestled in Castiel's arms. He couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation. "Well, Cas, looks like we've got ourselves a cat."
Castiel regarded Dean with a puzzled expression. "A cat?"
"Yeah, you know, a pet. They're like... miniature lions, but less scary," Dean explained, trying to suppress his laughter.
Castiel nodded slowly, processing this new information. "Very well. We shall keep the... miniature lion."
And so began the misadventures of Dean, Castiel, and their newfound feline friend. From attempting to decipher the cat's dietary preferences (turns out, it's not a fan of pie) to grappling with the concept of litter boxes, the duo found themselves in a whirlwind of hilarity and confusion.
Dean couldn't help but marvel at Castiel's determination to care for the cat, despite their mutual lack of expertise in the matter. "You know, Cas," he remarked one evening as they watched the cat chase after a wayward dust mote, "you may not know much about cats, but you sure know a lot about love."
Castiel turned to Dean, a soft smile gracing his features. "And you, Dean Winchester, may not know much about angels, but you sure know a lot about loyalty."
With that, they settled into their makeshift family, Dean, Castiel, and their eccentric little cat, forging bonds stronger than steel and softer than fur. And as they navigated the ups and downs of pet ownership together, they knew one thing for certain—no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them as a team.
For in the vast expanse of the universe, amidst all its mysteries and wonders, there was nothing quite like the love shared between a hunter, an angel, and a cat named Fluffy.
I was gonna attach this to my writing summary post, but the Keep Reading bar on that one doesn't seem to be working, which is awkward, so here we go.
