My first ever OC was a self-insert for a three-way crossover of Danny Phantom, Fairly OddParents, and Teen Titans, because i thought a half-ghost cousin of Timmy Turner who fights bad guys with the Teen Titans was a really cool idea. I created her when I was 12 and she was like the main thing i would draw from the ages of 12-15. She was the first of many, MANY OCs, kicking off a phase that would last until the end of my freshman year of college, actually. However, Liz has actually stuck around and evolved into someone who could almost exist separately from the fandoms she started in, if only I could figure out how to make a cool-sounding teen hero group name on my own. ANYWAY Liz kicks ass and takes names and can't figure out what the fuck her superhero code name should be (because I originally called her Storm before I realized the name Storm was already taken, and haven't been able to come up with another good name since.)

SO BASICALLY its a pretty well known the fact that timmys life is miserable hence he got fairys but what if timmys parents are people who should get a divorce like if timmys parents isnt leaving timmy alone with vicky to do something and is at home they argue and what if timmy got cosmo and wanda a bit later than he did and what if vicky does things way worse.

so thats why timmy has so much anxiety for this au

now some of you may wonder from the fact that i am a nicktoons unite fan what happens in nicktoons unite!

well timmy isnt really so agressive only when provoked and since timmy already knows jimmy and trusts him he trusts the others too

now WHAT ABOUT MY DANNY AND TIMMY COUSINS HC (not the head cannon that timmy accidentally summons danny)

well for this i think the cousins never met each other till nu gang happened and LET ME TELL YA WHY

because for timmys parents and dannys parents just dont interact often. sure they call eachother from time to time but havent gone to each others places

or danny and timmy met before but timmy was so young he didnt remember (no this isnt a reference to forgor au i swear 😭)

timmy before getting fairies (remember i said he got fairies later) sometimes cries himself to sleep or listen to music because timmys parents are so fucking loud when fighting at night.

the reason why cosmo and wanda was given to timmy later is because timmy would get vicky as a babysitter later because timmys parents are trying to fall in love again neglecting timmy

AND WHAT ABOUT CROCKEERRRR so crocker has a suspission to all of his class to have FAIRY 💥 GOD 💥 PARENTS (sorry i have to) and he does know that miserable children gets them (if you think about it timmys class are all miserable in thier own way like chester being poor but he shrugs it off.

timmy however before getting fairies is already having too much anxiety (see what i did there) and pretty much everyone notices that but his parents because they are lumps of shit so crocker began looking for evidence of fairy yod parents on timmy which well since timmy didnt have fairies yet and from how much crocker keeps looking there is no fairies he even asked timmy himself if he had fairies and timmy look up to crocker anxiety gilled thinking he missed something and ask whats a FAIRY 💥 GOD 💥 PARENTS and crocker still keeps looking but he just finds out timmy doesnt have fairies and how miserable timmy is to the point hes crying himself to sleep so he shrug it off and just thought timmy is just miserable but not miserable enough to have fairies. until timmy just shows up to class without anxiety and everyone is worried but that was the day timmy gets his fairies and as days go on and crocker gets suspicions again and boom the fop series but ill cut after poof seasons because no.

timmy is still a rulebreaker and even after getting fairies he still have anxiety becuase anxiety doesnt go away like that

I have so many ideas for my nu spider au (nusau) it's almost hurting me.

Timmy is the friendly neighborhood spiderman, typical high school story like Gwen or Miles. Parents disowned him and he ran away to live with his aunt and uncle Wanda and Cosmo, whom are filthy rich and can buy Timmy anything he wishes for. However he was never given anything as a little kid so he doesn't ask for things, standard neglect, but they do pay his rent and sometimes groceries for him.

Jimmy is doc oct for obvious reasons. But also I think that its fun for the angst to have Timmy and Jimmy be besties/bfs. Plus it was so easy to make the Mary Jane and James connection, I might change his last name tho just to simplify it and make it even more similar.

Danny is Timmy's cousin, he lives very far away. I think it would be interesting to have him visit Timmy for a short while and they both discover that the other has spider powers, but Danny's powers function more like venom than your textbook spider. (Jimmy possibly making the symbiote?)

Bob is the owner of the restaurant under Timmy's apartment. They are good friends and one day he caught Timmy sneaking back into his room while still in costume, since sponge is very nice he's keeping his secret. As well as letting him have things for free for protecting him.

Chester & AJ are essentially like his 'guy(s) in the chair'. AJ's family are friends with Timmy's aunt & uncle because they're rich, and as a result he can use money to cover Timmy's tracks and pay off the police. Chester is the hype man.

Sheen & Carl are Jimmy's school friends, they aren't aware he's doc oct but they know he does have a job being a scientist. Timmy talks to them during class sometimes, they think he's very cool and Timmy thinks they're judging him. (They possibly become villains later bc of doc oct experimenting on them)

The popular Danny-Timmy cousins AU/head canon is cool but me being me decided that they have ITALIAN BLOOD

My head canon is that Mrs. Turner and Maddie are sisters where Maddie got married to the Fentons while Mr. Turner got married to the Turners. The whole “Italian blood” head canon actually has history within it.

Story Time!: Many millennials ago, Italy suffered from famine and war. The Turner ancestors were Italy’s only hope back then since they still have most of their men and money intact. Eleanor Turner, many great-grandmother of Danny and Timmy, is the founder of their Family-magic. Eleanor or Mother Eleanor as how her descendants call her loves of all kinds of mythology. Before the war and famine occurred, Eleanor was invested in Mythologies and Legends, reading all kinds of Ancient scrolls and books just to learn more about them and satisfy her curiosity.

When war finally happened, Eleanor was the first to stand up to help her family and country, she lead the country to freedom and gave them hope. The Gods, the Spirits of Nature, and all kinds of Entities big and small that she have studied saw her courageous efforts, thus, granting and blessing her and her family their magic and powers.

When Italy finally got their freedom, Eleanor’s husband got married to her family and have kids. She passed the knowledge to her kids, her kids passed the knowledge to her grandkids, and so on and so forth. Slowly, it turned into a generational thing, and then it leads us to here.

I like to think that Timmy is the first one to discover about the whole generational magic thing because of Cosmo. Cosmo being Cosmo found out about it some how and told Timmy. Timmy became invested thus learned how to use his magic in secret with the help of his fairies.

I too like to think that the fairies know about Timmy having magic when they first met him because Fairies were one of the entities that Mother Eleanor studied and they too gave their blessing to her.

Now imagine that you’re Danny in a perfectly normal day but the first thing you saw when you walk in the Fenton’s living room are floating objects only to find out that your ginger sister is the cause of this shit.

Maddie and Jack found out then Maddie explained everything yadi yadi yada then Jazz decided to train her new powers mostly with the help from Danny and Maddie because Jack know no shit.

Has any one thought that since maddie from danny phantom and Vicky from fairly odd parents look similar do you think they could be aunt and neice.

Like since maddie and her sister have opposite personalities and Vickys mom did something horrible causing a strained relationship, and maddie she dosent what to stress her kids so she dosent mention it.

Then danny gets outed as a halfa and the news reaches vickies mom and her imidiate though is to gain social standing, like, 'oh your nephew got into harverd well thats great dear and oh did i tell yoi about me nephew danny he saved the world on the news, he's 14'

And so she tries to get into contact with maddie and says that the knowlege of her neice and nephew made her want to reconnect.

And maddie like the good mother she is accepts and tells her kids, which jazz and danny point out its weird how she chose it RIGHT after he saved the world, and maddie still knowing who her sister is but hopes shes changes tells them, people can change amd even if she is we dont need to go back there why not give her a chance.

And so the fentons go to Dimmsdale to meet them, it didnt go well but they still give them a chance.

And then Vickie talks about how shes a babysitter and how while their parents are busy she can take danny and jazz to meet the kid she babysits. The fentons not seeing anything wrong with this agrees.

Now on timmys side Vickie just asked his parents if they would mind if the brought her estranged cousins over while they were gone.

They agreed.

Now Timmys having a heart attack because 1 vicky was evil enough now he'd have 3.

And is absolutely terrified of when they'll arive bacause he thinks its his death, and tries to escape, but vicky catches him and tells him that because her estranged family has very good social standing and lots of money, she has to make a good impression and is going to use him to do it.

When the door bell rings and he knows its her cousins behind the door hes terrified again so when vicky opens the door to show an 17 year old red head and an 14 year old black haired kid he tries to run.

Then vickie introduses then and he finds out their names and jazz and danny.

Vicky ends off going somewhere with jazz just leaving timmy and danny.

In the next couple of hours timmy is getting more and more shocked that not only is vickys cousin ,danny, decent he's actualy the nicest person he's  ever met and then they just go off in the neighbourhood pulling pranks on people and timmys having the time of his life with danny.

And maybe he lets slip how babysitting usualy goes with vicky and danny rightfuly freaks out, amazing timmy about how kind danny is.

Its later that day when the fentons and vickys family plan to have lunch and danny invites timmy over saying they wont mind.

And when timmy gets their he's greeted by a doting and kind jazz who he is amazed by.

Meets a goofy jack asking him of he wants fudge and just being a good dad to timmy

And an protective and affectionate naddie who also dotes on him.

It was that day that timmy finaly realised what having a family was really nice. Not just a normal family, timmy is under no illusion that the fentons are normal but it continuesly amazed how none of them seem to care and genuinely love eachother.

I just think the idea that timmy sees and experiences not only a weird family but a very loving one too, and internationally freaking out because these wonderful people are related to VICKY.no wonder their estranged.

He wonders if the fentons were put on this earth to cancel out the evil of vicky with the goodness of danny.

The more time he spends with danny solidifies that in his mind.

The Leader of the group known as Nickolas City's Unite or UN as people call it. He's been working as a superhero for two years. Though he mostly handled ghosts and other supernatural beings before forming a hero team with the other members. He was dubbed the leader for reasons even he's confused about. But has been doing the job well enough. He's like a big brother figure for a lot of the members. Often stepping into their affairs trying to help and or fix situations that might have nothing to do with them.

Timmy Turner: Danny sees Timmy like a little brother at times. He goes out of his way to help Timmy with his emotions and even with homework. He even tried to convince Timmy to live with him once he learned about his living situation. (Aka a street kid) They play video games, read comic books, and eat junk food until their hearts give off.

Jimmy Neutron: Funny enough despite seeing Timmy like family. Jimmy is his actual younger cousin. (Judy, Maddie, and Alicia were separated for years.) Danny sees Jimmy as some of the smartest on the planet. They often talk about theories and space travel. Jimmy's been to other planets, so Danny likes to listen in on the juicy details about space. I guess his only problem is Jimmy's lack of communication. They've argued because Jimmy refused to talk about the issue, ask for help, or apologize ever.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Bob and Danny can hang out for hours. Something about that mermaid like boy that makes Danny giggle. But he also repeats Bob for being able to balance, work, school, hero work, and everyday live without a complaint. Makes Danny think he's more capable seeing someone else manage. If anyone is able to keep Danny sane it's the Sponge-kin.

Jenny Wakeman: Jenny was the first hero Danny was able to work missions with. She figured out his secret identity on accident. So Danny confessed. Which worked perfectly as Jenny isn't that versed on the paranormal and Danny never fought an alien. So they were able to work together happily. They tell dad jokes together. Tuck and Dani are besties. He's only problem is he knows she has a crush on him. He figured it out early on. He was flattered at first but he doesn't want to upset her.

Real Name: Jimmy Neutron

Age: 15 years old.

The Brains of the team. He personally wanted to be the leader but thing didn't go as planned. Still Jimmy is willing to do his part no matter what it might be. Provide a secret base, equipment, be the teams medic (even for the robot), he even bribed Timmy by doing his homework for an entire semester. He's annoyed but does it because someone has to do it. That and he doesn't like admitting it but he likes them.

Timmy Turner: Out of everyone in the group. Timmy is his bestfriend. Which is way they fight so much. Who else call you a punk ass bitch with full confidence more than your best friends. That and Timmy is stubborn. While Timmy is his bestie that will destroy shit with. Timmy is also the second person he's argued with throughout his life. It doesn't help that Timmy is magical which annoys Jimmy. He thinks magic's too easy and unproducible. You can hurt thousand without trying. At least with Science it's slow.

Danny Phantom: Jimmy's cousin and one of the only people 16 years old he repeats. Danny takes everything into note which makes Jimmy feel like he's appreciated. Though it annoys him that Danny has never tried to explore and experiment anything in the Ghost Zone. He has the golden opportunity. He also doesn't understand why Danny wants to keep his identity a secret. He's parents would try to kill him less, school would be more easy on him like it is with Jenny.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Bob remains Jimmy of Carl at times. Except Bob has to sleep in water. That sponge has tried to steal his devises to play around with. Has accidently lost his invisible hamster. And keeps rearranging his lab around despite Jimmy telling him not to every single time. But Jimmy does enjoy the humanoid sea creature.

Jenny Wakeman: Jenny is a saving grace. Jimmy panics without some type of technology on hand. Lucky for him Jenny is there whenever he calls. Though he doesn't like being babied by her. Nor treated like her "little" brother when she's technically 6 years old. Though as much as he hates to admit it. He enjoys having her there from time to time. He's gone out of his way so she can have citizenship and fix her sisters up so they can live her her full time.

The Lancer of the team and the only magic user. As Danny's more science when it comes to the supernatural. Timmy often relies on magic to help him which causes more problems being he's still learning how to use it. She's kind of the punk kid doing things for shits and giggles until something serious comes along. Then you get you to see his real self.

Danny Phantom: Timmy is a superhero fanboy through and through. Even if that famous hero is only two years older than him. That and Timmy is use to magical beings more than regular humans. But Danny's even cooler being he's a unique type of magical being. They act like brothers for most of the time. Though Timmy hates it when Danny tries to intervene with his life. Especially his home life. It causes the two to argue for days. Timmy prefers to fix his problems on his own.

Jimmy Neutron: It takes a lot to become one of Timmy's part of his inner friend circle. It took three city-almost-in-ruin events. But now they're besties. Timmy thinks Jimmy's inventions are awesome and loves to test them out with Bob. Jimmy can't say the same for Timmy's magic. But hey it is what it is. Though Jimmy is rather bossy and arrogant at times. Which causes Timmy to argue with him in the hopes it would cause he's ego to deflate. It doesn't but hey, it is what it is.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Timmy is willing to stab others for Bob. That's his buddy. Bob seems like an innocent guy wanting to help for the greater good. Timmy respects that because that generosity is hard to find. Though he thinks Bob is a doormat. He's often tried to get him to toughen up. Teach him how to flip people off. Bob knows full and well how, but doesn't see the point in it. So Timmy flips people off for him.

Jenny Wakeman: Again fanboys. Though unlike Danny he's not comfortable with opening up to her. I lot about his past and the many small crimes he's committed has caused him to fear when she'll rat him out. Otherwise he treats her like a sister, as she insists to be looked at as one.

Age: 17 years old

Gender: Cis Male He/Him

Occupation: Manager of on land Krusty Krab, C average student, Business Major at Nickolas Nigh School.

Bob is the heart due to his comedic responses and heartwarming demeanor. He sees the good in everyone and believes in giving one hundred chances. Sadly this sort of view is what gets him in trouble like all the time. He does his best to impress others and has quickly jumped to outlandish assumptions. But he's proven important to the team time and time again. Bob has admitted though "he feels like a fish out of water" when it comes to the hero life.

Timmy Turner: They get along beyond well. Bob has no idea what a fairy is but thinks they're really pretty. They hang out almost all the time. Bob also has tried to follow Timmy advise. The word is try being the thought of losing his job hurts more than death. So he's kept his words and fingers to himself.

Jimmy Neutron: Jimmy like Sandy is the smartest person ever. He allows knows how to have fun. Even though Jimmy doesn't want Bob is mess with any of his things. Or the fact that Jimmy hates Patrick more than vampires hate the sun. Which breaks Bob's spirit a small bit but it is what it is.

Danny Phantom: Danny's great. He believes in Bob. Includes him in everything important. Which makes Bob feel like an actual member to the team. As if he's slowly becoming like his favorite superhero. That and ghosts scare him so Danny helps.

Jenny Wakeman: His past experience with robots didn't go well but he likes Jenny anyway. Even though Jenny can't visit his house or stand too close to him due to her being weak to water. But you can be friends with someone from across the room.

Real Name: XJ-9 (she prefers Jenny Wakeman.

Age: Mentally and Physically 16. Otherwise she's 6.

Gender: Trans Female She/Her (she was made genderless)

The Bronze of the team. Often going in to fight the villain without thinking on how to do so. She's also quick tempered. Though she's still sweet in her own way. Created to the be a superhero and longing for a regular teenage life. In an consent battle with her programming, her mother, and her own wants.

Timmy Turner: She sees Timmy as a pain. She wants to be besties with him like she is with Jimmy but he's distant with her. Though they seem to get along well enough. Jenny has saved Timmy and Danny from bullies so often that people stopped bullying him for a long time. To return the favor though she never asked. Timmy poured red dye on Brit and Tiffs white clothes.

Jimmy Neutron: Her soul brother. Jenny's use to geniuses. Which causes her to know how to talk to them. She watches documentaries with him and joins Jimmy on shit talking the video if it's insanely inaccurate. Though she's not letting his treatment towards Boibot go. Jimmy built him and threw him away. She doesn't care if he built him his own parents. He threw the boy away. She's gone out of her way to force the two to bond.

Danny Phantom: Danny isn't the first teen hero she's met though he's her favorite. She developed a crush on him fast. She tries to ignore her feelings because friendship is more important. But he has Icy blue eyes. Those are her favorite eye color on a guy! Besides that they work well together. She often punishes the boys when they're fighting while Danny comforts them. As if he's the mom and she's the dad.

SpongeBob SquarePants: He's sweet but he seems scared of her. Plus she can't really touch him without having to get repaired by her mom. Though Bob and Danny are pretty much immortal so if she has too she'll train with Bob.

Regarding that Danny Phantom rewrite of yours, will there Hartman's other three series like Fairly OddParents, Tuff Puppy, and Bunsen is a Beast be among the shows referenced? Love those references to Rise of TMNT and Avatar BTW.

Fairly OddParents yes, Tuff Puppy probably not, and I have never even heard of that last one so probably not.

I'm actually going to have a two crossover "episodes", one where the Turner's visit and another where Chip Skylark is revealed to be one of the clones of Danny.

Turner's Visit

Jack and Mr.Turner are cousins themselves [mother's side] in this rewrite and can't stand each other. BUT their Grammy-Gram made it explicitly clear that her grandchildren must get along if they want a cut of the family heirlooms sooooo they grit their teeth and pretend to like each other for the annual meet up.

In short, Timmy gets dumped at the Fenton's for about a week while the senior Fenton's and Turner's end up at said meet up.

The kids are NOT happy about this, having had plans for the summer. Though the somewhat ridiculous pay eases up Jazz and Danny.

With Timmy's experience with baby sitters, he is wary and paranoid af that they are going to do something- especially since they have a LITERAL stockade/torture chamber in the basement/lab.

It didn't help that every time that he went "I wish-" Danny attempted to half-smother him on instinct (thanks Desiree).

(Wanda may or may not have thermos'd Desiree personally after she saw how badly she twisted people's wishes against them)

But as time goes on and he realizes that Jazz and Danny are more likely to turn into fairies than try to actively harm him and actually warms up to them.

M and Z

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

One mini-series I haven’t mentioned is my little collection of “Spellementary School kids spend holidays with extended family” one-shots, aptly titled “House Tours With Plot.” One chapter focuses on Poof staying with Big Daddy and trying to socialize with his Lialia-speaking cousins (magical parallel of Italian), one where Foop stays with Anti-Mama Cosma for a week or two and she pushes him to train his physical body as much as he trains his intellect, one with Sammy in Muckledunk, one with Finley in Pixie World, and one with Goldie and the will o’ the wisps. I’ll probably be working on these over the next few weeks since I’m in a holiday mood… I love magical holidays.

I also have a Timmy-centric piece (“See That Dust Fly") about Timmy visiting his Ustinkistan grandparents for the holidays and hanging out with his mom’s extended family. Apparently there’s a real thing called turnip lanterns (precursor to the more common jack o’ lanterns of today?) which are said to keep supernatural beings away. You literally could not have a more perfect excuse for weakening Cosmo and Wanda around Timmy’s family than that.

I’ve been playing with the idea that Kimmy (Timmy’s female lookalike from “Stupid Cupid”) is actually his cousin, so I’ve been weighing the pros and cons of including her in this story. I probably will, with the idea that her family recently moved to the area in “Stupid Cupid” and she was trying to introduce herself to her cousin by citing “I have three goldfish” as something they have in common. And then Timmy straight-up walks away.

Another story I’ve been working on that I off-hand mentioned the other day is a Cosmo-centric piece that looks at aspects of a godparent’s life that are more work than play. In this case, it’s the personal self-care routine Cosmo goes through after a long evening spent helping Chloe through anxiety attacks. Watching him unwind has helped me tap into his calm, gentle attitude and connect with him as a character. I never knew I wanted a story about Cosmo and coloring books, but I’m really enjoying it. The working title for this piece is “Hyggekrog,” but I’m expecting to change it before I’m done.

Z: Major character death–do you ever write/read it? Is there a character whose death you can’t tolerate?

I love major character death as long as it makes sense for the story, but I HATE having it spoiled, which means the only way it crosses my path is if it’s in a novel, an untagged ‘fic, or someone sent me a ‘fic with the tags removed to hide the fact there’s major character death in it. I love AO3s tagging system, but I wish there was a way I could toggle certain spoilers off.

Since I usually write backstory ‘fics, my hands are tied when it comes to most major character death. The first two drafts of Frayed Knots called for me to kill Mona/Anti-Saffron in the end. I convinced myself it was fine because she dies thousands of years after Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda get together (ergo, I didn’t kill her to remove her from the relationship), but… it still never struck me as the appropriate end to her character arc.

In Riddleverse canon, Anti-Saffron is alive and involved in politics (you don’t just fade out of the public eye when you’re no longer queen!) Anti-Cosmo visits her sometimes out of a consuming need to repent for all he’s put her through. Since Cosmo’s pregnancy was hidden from the public and no witnesses were present when Foop was born, some of the Anti-Fairy population suspect Anti-Saffron is Foop’s biological mother. Anti-Saffron is an awkward addition to the anti-family tree, and I’m enjoying this way more than killing her off.

Death, coping, and political succession are major themes of my endgame FOP ‘fic Devil’s Backbone, so there will be major character death in that story. I have a one-shot about the funeral of a sort-of major character. I like telling stories at different points in characters’ lives and dealing with death is part of that.

I think only one 130 Prompt references major character death… I cried. Not because I can’t write that character any further in the timeline, but at another character’s raw emotion when they found out. That got me.

As for deaths I can’t stand, I talked about my feelings on Youngblood’s deaths in ‘fics HERE.

I’d be more okay with Youngblood dying in so many ‘fics if he was actually a major character in them, but to the best of my memory things would just happen to him in the background, like getting kidnapped with all the other ghost kids, but he gets 0 screentime and is the only one who gets tortured to death. Also his skeletal assistant didn’t mourn him. That’s what I don’t like.

His assistant was traveling with Danny at the time iirc, so they never got to say good-bye and this poor child didn’t have any loved ones with him, which would have been an awesome angst scene if it was shown. But it wasn’t. If the first time in a massive ‘fic Youngblood gets screentime is the final chapter and he shows up dead… Ooh, don’t like that.

This kid’s a master of psychological warfare and the plot of his debut episode literally revolves around him commending respect from everybody because he’s an absolute mastermind despite being like eight years old. The only thing stopping him from climbing higher up the ladder is that his ship can’t fly without Ember’s help. He’s really the only ghost happy to hang out with skeletons (the implied mortal enemies of ghosts since they’re really only seen in Pariah Dark’s evil army). Canon heavily implies Jasmine killed his shapeshifting assistant in “The Fenton Menace” because Youngblood’s eerily without him every episode after that. If you like bonus material, there’s an official comic revealing his Ghost Zone parents are dragons. How is that a character you want to shove to the background?

If you want to kill him, please give him a death he deserves… I crave more Youngblood content and will accept his death as long as you treat him right. I am currently accepting Danny Phantom ‘fic recommendations… but please don’t send them unless Youngblood gets more screentime “alive” than “dead.”

NU! Headcanon #12

Jenny Wakeman (also known as XJ-9) accepted a ride home from some flying saucers, which turned out to be the evil toys from Calamitous’ Biggest Genius plan. Captured and scanned, she was freed by the Nicktoons in the PS2 and DS versions of the game, and one of the few playable females in the series!

She’s a strong super hero, and great Nicktoon team material should she reconnect with the others or they find her universe. Like Danny, she’s a sturdy fighter with a variety of melee and ranged weapons at her disposal.

Everyone has had negative experiences with robots and machines in their past (from Technus and Plankton, to Eliminators and Nanobots), so seeing something as aware and advanced as Jenny would put them off. But I think as they got to know her, they’d relax and really consider her to be a friend.

Danny knows what being a teenage superhero is like, especially now that everyone knows he’s Danny Phantom. And Danny also knows what it’s like to feel outcasted, since his only real friends were Sam and Tucker. It could take some heart to heart, but Danny and Jenny could go around doing normal teenage stuff as friends. Or at least as normal as it could get.

Timmy in Jenny’s eyes is a lot like Tuck…but more of a handful cuz of Cosmo and Wanda’s powers. I think she’d probably see him the same way, while Timmy would probably see her as a super fighting robot. It would take him a little while to understand that Jenny is really alive much in the aspect Goddard is, but that’s only because Timmy is dense. 

As for Cosmo and Wanda, I’m not sure what Jenny would believe them to be, but humors Timmy’s imagination by calling them his “fairies”, even if she doesn’t believe in fairies herself.

Speaking of Goddard, Jimmy would open up to Jenny’s presence the fastest. He built Goddard and considers him as real a dog as you can get, why not consider Jenny a real teenager with feelings? Jimmy’s built tons of robots before for just about every occasion, and Jenny would make sure said robots are treated fairly. She’d probably lecture Timmy about the same thing. Plus if she’s damaged, Jimmy could give her a helping hand.

For once, SpongeBob wasn’t immediately all over someone in affection. He had little panic attacks over robots taking over the world. Jenny has had prior events where someone was afraid of her being a robot, so she’d slowly approach SpongeBob to get to know him. Once SpongeBob was comfortable, he’d be hugging her as much as he would the others, claiming her warm heart is there in her metallic body.

As for Tak, Jenny’s cousin is very natural (he’s a living plant guy) and would understand Tak’s misinformation about technology. Just like she would be clueless about Juju. They’d probably learn about each other and their realms of existence. Tak actually understands technology more when Jenny explains it compared to Jimmy.

More for my NTU Spider AU

I'm still working on the acronym because I don't want to spell it out every time, ntusau is still a lot tho.

Going back to my previous idea with Danny having a symbiote instead of spider powers, I imagine it would play out like this:

We start somewhere in the middle of Timmy's story and at the beginning of Danny's, Timmy has already been bitten by the spider and Danny has no ghost powers.

Danny is visiting his aunt and uncle (Cosmo and Wanda) for a little while because his family's house had been over run by ghost and now it needs to be spiritually fumigated, so he's staying with them in the meantime.

He's excited to see his cousin Timmy because they haven't talked in a few years, however Timmy is very flighty and doesn't stick around them for too long before he jets off to do whatever secretive business he's got going on. While his parents and his family chock it up to him being a teenager and wanting to be by himself, Danny thinks it's a little weird and follows him the next time he runs off.

Danny loses him but he does find the local Spider Man fighting Doc.Oct, they're both playing tug-a-war with a vile of black goo. It falls and smashes at Dany's feet, but the two don't seem to notice that they don't have the vile in their hands anymore.

The next time Spidey and Oct are set to duke it out, our beloved Spider man doesn't show up but Venom does. Doc Oct recognizes the symbiote and thinks it would be interesting to see how it functions now that it has a host and puts a tracker on him, Danny rips him a new one.

Eventually through something funny or something heartbreaking Timmy finds out his cousin took in the symbiote, and once their house is done being spiritually cleansed he leaves with the symbiote in hand to use against the ghosts that plague his home.

I think this would be a good origin story for ghost Danny in this universe, instead of having 2 spiders he just has the symbiote.

I don't think it would be fair to have Danny's symbiote be full on Venom like how he is in the movies, I think his symbiote just influences him instead of talking and persuading him to do things. While the regular Venom is a fully sentient being that talks to Edie, Danny's Venom is more like a dog he can understand the thought process of. They transform the same tho, because I think it would be really cool to have the ghost form morph around him.

Miscellaneous thoughts for Danny and Timmy being cousins 

-Timmy thinks that the fact that the Fenton’s hunt ghosts and have a lab in the basement is super cool

-this AU takes place during the summer essentially Mr. and Mrs. Turner dropped Timmy off there over the summer while they do God knows what. 

-Timmy has a lot of concerning traits that are usually swept under the rug by his parents, but Jazz picks up on them very easily, and finds them very distressing 

-Jazz desperately wants to pick Timmy’s brain about his home life 

-Danny probably has to share his room with Timmy 

-Danny doesn’t really question most of Timmy’s odd behavior. He just chalked it up to him being a lonely weird kid

- more of a question Cosmo and Wanda yay or nay? I have two different ideas of how to proceed with the story, one where a Cosmo and Wanda are their usual selves, fairies of course and another version where they’re just goldfish and we don’t deal with any fairy stuff

I will say if it is ghost and fairy focus, I’m going to bend and change a lot of the rules regarding fairies

Since I’m putting Danny and Timmy in the same universe for this AU, where their cousins, I’m going to bend the rules a bit since fairies are a bit broken when it comes to abilities 

And we’re following more of the rules of the Danny phantom universe than the fairly odd parents one since it’s more linear and consistent in terms of world building

General things 

-fairies in ghosts are not the same (obviously) things that are made to capture, weaken, or be resistant to ghosts have no effect on fairies 

-Using the explanation from a glitch in time of how ghosts are manifestations of human emotions/I have a rough idea of how fairies could be similar yet different

-essentially fairies manifest to fulfill human desire. Specifically those of children, since they’re is the most unfiltered and thus much stronger.  essentially fairies, manifest, and take the appearance of what a child desperately wants.

Ex: for Timmy, because because his relationship with his parents is less than ideal, Cosmo and Wanda manifested the way they did as pseudo parents for him

Other examples of how fairies could potentially manifest if Tootie had a fairy she would manifest to fulfill an older sister role since the one she has is nasty an awful

For Remy it’s a little more complicated because though he craves the love of his parents, he also craves to have somebody to listen to him and do what he says so Juandisimo feels more of the role of a nanny/butler,  someone who cares for him yet is also obligated to stay by his side 

-as for magic, I’m absolutely nerfing the hell out of it some of the standard rules are still in place can’t harm or kill. Can’t wish to get rid of anybody else’s fairies, can’t use them to win a competition.  no love related wishes etc.

-It’s implied that fairies can only create things and not destroy them so I’m going to just state that as fact here, and in terms of creating for this au what a fairy creates with magic is essentially like a solid illusion  which might not make sense, so let me explain it like this

If you were to wish for a roller coaster even though it’s just a solid illusion, it would feel exactly like a real roller coaster and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, but when wishing for some thing like food, you could bite into it, it just wouldn’t taste like anything and you wouldn’t feel any fuller eating it

-Fairies don’t understand how humans work. They don’t understand why food is necessary or how they need to breathe or even some social cues. 

-like ghosts fairies aren’t entirely solid so they can pass through things like walls. Very easily fairies, however cannot turn invisible, which is why they have the ability to shape shift.  tho some ghost can shape shift to it takes effort on their part for a fairy shape shifting is as natural as breathing to a human. 

-fairies are not malicious by nature quite the opposite and they thrive on whimsy and joy which is why they only reveal themselves to children (fairies have a large dislike towards adults since they’re the ones that usually pull children back reality, which can stop out there whimsy)

-fairies are extremely cautious when it comes to revealing themselves most ghosts don’t have a problem with being in broad daylight, or making themselves known, but because fairies are more docile creatures, they avoid any attention that could fall on them 

-fairies are mysterious and almost completely unheard of in terms of their actual nature. Those individuals like Crocker, who want to hunt fairies, and prove that they’re real still exist. They are much far and few between unlike ghost hunters, since ghosts have been proven to be real unlike fairies. 

Getting kind of dark for a second

-fairies can be dangerous, if a fairy deems a child’s situation to be too terrible for them to bear the fairy might just steal the child away (fairies don’t know how humans work much less how to take care of a child, though they are good companions, that can help children through difficult times, when a fairy decides to take things into their own hands, and take a child from their caretakers it’s most likely that the child will not survive considering a Fairy’s lack of knowledge when it comes to actual caregiving and human  necessities)
