On this day, 1 August 1834, slavery in the British Caribbean officially ended, and the 800,000 enslaved people owned by Britons were "freed". The move followed major uprisings of enslaved people, for example in Jamaica and Demerara (now part of Guyana). However, the government compensated the former enslavers, at taxpayers' expense, for the loss of their "property": paying them £20 million at the time. This sum constituted 40% of the total government budget that year, and was the largest ever state bailout until the 2009 bank bailout. The debt incurred was only eventually paid off in 2015. Many rich and powerful people in Britain today can trace their wealth back to this compensation, including former Conservative prime minister David Cameron and his wife. Formerly enslaved people were also forced to work unpaid for 45 hours every week for their former masters for four years. Often this is referred to as the date the British Empire abolished slavery, but in fact the institution continued in other colonies and British-controlled areas for many years. For example, in the 1960s, Labour and Conservative governments sent troops to defend the sultan of Oman, where slavery was legal until 1970. It is reported that: Imam Zain Abideen (as) said:

“When the head of Imam Hussain (as) was brought to Yazid (la), he convened sessions for wine drinking, merry making and chess playing and had the Head of Imam Hussain (as) brought, placed before him and he would drink wine in front of Imam Hussain (as) Head.

One day, a messenger from the king of Rome, who was a Christian was present at one such session of Yazid (la), and he was one of the nobles and greats of Rome.

The Messenger from Rome asked: “Oh King of the Arabs! Whose Head is this?”

Then Yazid (la) said to him: “What is this Head to you?”

The Messenger from Rome said: “When I return to our king, he will ask me about everything I saw.

So, I would like to report to him about the story of this Head and its owner, so that our king may share in your joy and happiness.”

Then Yazid (la) said to him: “This is the Head of Al-Hussain ibn Ali ibn Abu Talib.”

The man from Rome asked: “Who is His Mother?”

Then Yazid (la) said: “Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah.”

The Christian man from Rome said: “Fie on you and on your religion!

I have a religion better than yours.

Verily, my father is one of the descendents of Prophet David (as), and there are many generations between Prophet David (as) and my father. But the Christians honour me and take some of the earth from beneath my feet as a blessing because of my father, as one of the descendents of Prophet David (as).

But you kill the Son of the Daughter of the Messenger of Allah?

While between Them there is only one Mother? What sort of religion do you have?”

Then the Man said to Yazid (la): “Have you heard the story of the Church of the Hoof?”

Yazid (la) said to him: “Tell me about it so I can hear it.”

So the Christian man from Rome said: “There is a sea between Oman and China that it takes a year to cross. Along the way there is no inhabited place except one city in the middle of the water. It is eighty by eighty farsangs.

There is no city on the earth bigger than it, and camphor and emeralds are brought from it.

Its trees are aloes wood and ambergris.

It is in the hands of the Christians.

No king has sovereignty over it except the Christians. There are many churches in that city. The biggest of them is the Church of the Hoof. There is a small golden box in its sanctuary in which is hung a hoof.

They think this is the hoof of a donkey that Jesus used to ride.

They decorated the area around the box with gold and silk brocade.

Every year many Christians make a pilgrimage to it and walk around it, kiss it, and offer their supplications to God, the Exalted.

This is their manner and habit regarding the hoof of the donkey they think Jesus (as), their Prophet used to ride. And you kill the Son of your Prophet’s Daughter!?

Then God does not bless you and your religion.”

Then Yazid (la) said: “Kill this Christian Man so that he cannot expose me in his cities.”

When the Christian Man realized this, he said to him: “Do you want to kill me?”

And Yazid (la) said: “Yes!”

Then the Christian man said: “Know that I saw your Prophet (saww) last night in my dream.

And He (saww) said to me; ‘Oh Christian Man! You are of the people of heaven!’ I was surprised by what He (saww) said to me.

Now I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (saww).”

Then he jumped to the head of Imam Hussain (as), embraced it, and began to kiss it and cried until Yazid (la) order to killed him and he was killed.”

Giá dầu Brent chuẩn toàn cầu giảm 0,31% xuống còn 90,17 USD/thùng vào ngày 15/4, trong khi giá dầu tương lai WTI của Mỹ giảm 0,44% xuống còn 85,28 USD/thùng. Tuy nhiên, các chuyên gia đã phân tích những yếu tố có thể khiến giá "vàng đen" vượt ngưỡng 100 USD/thùng trong thời gian tới.

Thứ nhất, Iran sở hữu trữ lượng dầu khổng lồ và là nhà sản xuất dầu lớn thứ ba tại Tổ chức các Nước Xuất khẩu Dầu mỏ (OPEC). Các nhà phân tích đánh giá rằng, nếu xảy ra vấn đề gây gián đoạn nguồn cung dầu Iran, giá dầu trên thị trường toàn cầu có thể tăng cao.

Ông David Bassanese tại công ty Betashares (Australia) nhận định rằng sau vụ tấn công ngày 13/4, nếu căng thẳng leo thang hơn nữa, Mỹ và các đồng minh có để chịu áp lực phải tăng cường các biện pháp trừng phạt. Điều này có nguy cơ dẫn đến nguy cơ bóp nghẹt thêm khả năng xuất khẩu dầu của Iran.

Ông lập luận: “Đầu tư không đủ khiến nguồn cung trở nên mong manh hơn và tăng khả năng giá dầu tăng đột biến lên trên 100 USD nếu nguồn cung bị gián đoạn. Tôi nghĩ giá dầu sẽ đạt mức cao nhất mọi thời đại trong chu kỳ này, do một thập kỷ thiếu đầu tư vào thăm dò và phát triển”. Ngoài ra, theo kênh CNBC (Mỹ), dầu phải đối mặt với tình trạng sụt giảm tự nhiên đáng kể về sản lượng.

Iran đã tiến hành các cuộc tấn công bằng máy bay không người lái và tên lửa vào Israel đêm 13/4. Monella alkoivat jo silloin hälytyskellot soimaan, kun koronasulkuja järjesteltiin ja viruksia muka saattoi putkahdella milloin mistäkin puskista ja oireettomana levittäminen on tullut nyt oikein muotisanaksi. 

On syytä pitää omat hoksottimet avoimina, koska emme enää huomaa välttämättä sitä, mikä on eksytystä. 

Tietyt tahot haluavat kaventaa sananvapautta ja sensuroida netistä kaiken sellaisen, joka on jotain muuta kuin heidän niin sanotut omat totuutensa. 

Nämä ovat asioita, jotka väkisinkin herättävät epäilyksiä ja kysymyksiä, mutta näistä asioista ei saisi kysellä eikä keskustella. Eikö se herätä jo epäluuloa, että on asioita, joista sanotaan, että niistä ei saa puhua?

Koronan alkuaikoina lääkärit jopa kielsivät alaisiaan, että koronaan liittyvistä kysymyksistä ei saa puhua. Sellainen vaikenemaan pakottaminen on erittäin outoa, mutta eihän siitä tietenkään valtamedian uutisoinnissa kerrottu mitään. 

Suuren eksytyksenhän on puhuttu tulevan lääketieteen kautta maailmaan ja niin se näyttää jo hyvää vauhtia tulevankin. Vai mitä pitäisi sanoa siitä, että lääkkeitä tehdään nykyään lähinnä sen vuoksi, että ihmiset saadaan pysymään sopivan sairaina ja riippuvaisina aina isommalle määrälle lääkkeitä. Sehän tuo lääkefirmoille kivasti rahaa tilille. 

Mutta samaan aikaan ne lääkkeet, jotka perustuvat perinteisiin menetelmiin, luonnonlääketiede ja sellaiset terveet arvot, joiden ansioista ihmiskunta on aina pysynyt terveenä, sellaiset halutaan kieltää. 

Uskoisin että jo melko lähitulevaisuudessa kun ihmiskunta on ajettu riittävän ahtaalle, tuhottu taloudellinen toimeentulo, ahdistettu ihmiset digiorjiksi viidentoista minuutin kaupunkeihin, silloin tulee näitä maailman pelastajia, joita voimme kutsua antikristuksiksi. Kova on eksytys jo muutenkin monessa suhteessa käynnissä, uskovia yritetään saada toisiaan vastaan mitä kummallisimmilla konsteilla, milloin lietsotaan riitaa siitä, onko maa pallo vai litteä, välillä väitellään Raamatun kirjoista ja aitoudesta, maailman synnystä ja kaikesta sellaisesta.

Kun asiaa katsellaan isossa mittakaavassa, on helppo nähdä kaikessa tässä ainoastaan tarkoitus saada ihmiset toisiaan vastaan, joten tämäkin eksytys on vihollisen aikaansaannosta. 

Kukapa meistä ihmisistä lopultakaan tietää yhtään sen paremmin, mitä totuus oikeasti on. Jumala yksin tietää sen, me ihmiset emme ole tähän mitään sanomaan. 

Meille kaikki näyttäytyy täällä maailmassa kovin valheellisen verhon läpi ja värittyy hyvin harhaanjohtavaan muotoon.

Jos ajatellaan filosofien ikuisesti etsimää absoluuttista totuutta, se on hyvin kaukana kokemastamme ja näkemästämme. Jokainen meistä näkee omassa henkilökohtaisessa horisontissaan oman todellisuutensa, eikä se kenellekään toiselle näyttäydy samanlaisena. 

Miten me pystyisimme siis asettumaan toisen horisonttiin ja katsomaan sieltä, koska emme edes tiedä, minkälainen toisen ihmisen horisontti on. 

Jos me pystyisimme riisumaan kaiken ylimääräisen, mikä värittää meidän totuuttamme, silloin me voisimme ehkä saavuttaa edes jonkinlaisen käsityksen totuudesta.

Mutta aina maailmassa tulee vastaamme monenlaisia totuuden julistajia, joista kukin vääntää omaansa, milloin ihmiskunnan historiaa ja milloin mitäkin.

Useimmiten heistä jokainen on omassa mielessään hyvää tarkoittava ja uskoessaan löytäneensä jonkinlaisen totuuden, haluaa innokkaasti siitä myös toisille kertoa. On joukossa niitäkin, jotka julistavat eksytystä pahuuttaan ja tarkoituksella, mutta hyvääkin tarkoittavat ihmiset eivät aina välttämättä tiedä itse sitä, että ovat huomaamattaan eksyttäjiä. 

He ovat joutuneet pahan työkaluiksi huomaamattaan. Ihminen joutuu pahan työkaluksi helposti siinä vaiheessa, kun hän yrittää nostaa itsensä muiden yläpuolelle ja tuoda esiin jotain omissa nimissään, jotain sensaatiomaista, josta hän haluaisi itseään ihailtavan. 

Kun ihminen joutuu tällaiseksi pahan työkaluksi huomaamattaan, paholaisen on helppo levittää eksytystä hänen kauttaan.
