I'm still not caught up on if it's rude to send the same ask to multiple people so feel free to ignore this since I did send this to someone on the 23rd December.

But, how do you think the arcana M6 would react to an Mc that has a hars time feeling accomplished, and usually just doesn't feel it?

Like Mc could work on becoming better at something or work for hours on a project but will almost never feel accomplished for making something. Instead Mc would just see it as something they made or did. Like even defeating the devil didn't leave them feeling proud of themselves but more glad it's over. No sense of accomplishment just something they had to do and did and now it's over.

Nadia and Asra actually get very concerned when they realize that you genuinely don’t think you done some worth celebrating. They won’t push you into act celebrating your accomplishments. They’d both sit with you and try to work through why you don’t feel accomplished though.

Muriel and Julian absolutely understand, they do the same thing but for different reasons. Muriel doesn’t feel super accomplished about it because when he does something he just…. Does it. I don’t think he thinks about it a ton, unless of course it’s something that involves using an ax or weapon, ie chopping wood or hunting. (honestly it’s unrelated but I don’t think he hunts unless necessary.) Julian doesn’t feel accomplished because he thinks that whatever good he does only helps to make up for the damage. Yes, he knows you love him, yes he knows you try so hard to get him to see that he’s worth celebrating but he…. Just doesn’t see it. He looks at himself and he’s just there, and he doesn’t think he should be. Not because he doesn’t want to be but this mans survivors guilt is through the goddamn roof.

Portia will celebrate with you either way. Because you know what? You don’t have to be proud of yourself for her to be proud of you. This woman loves you more than you could ever imagine, and I’m not just saying that. She loves you (X) miles, where X is the number of the stars in the universe. She’s so so happy she gets to be with you and even if you don’t see how absolutely amazing you are, she does.

It might just be me but listening to it again all I could think of was Nadia x Mc from Nadia's pov.

Going from not really knowing anything about/believing in magic to being brutally corrected by the sheer violent and cosmic power you possess isn’t really a pleasant experience for him

Not only is his entire worldview being dislodged, but he’s also witnessing a jarring display that would make anyone feel at least a little uncomfortable

This results in some pretty complicated feelings for him; he wants to trust you, but your displays of powerful border on terrifying

He’ll need time to come to terms with it, but there’s a high chance that not even your cosmic power will be able to scare him away

In contrast to her brother, Portia just thinks that your indescribable powers are really, really cool

If she didn’t already know you, she might be scared, but as things stand she doesn’t feel even a shred of fear

Really, this just motivates her to pursue magic more than before

If this is the limit, then surely even someone like her who grew up without magic can learn a fair bit

Like Julian, he has mixed feelings, but for a totally different reason

He’s power hungry man, and seeing that you have control over such immense power immediately makes him want to use you for intimidation

But on the other hand, after his deals with the Devil, he has learned his lesson (to some degree)

He knows how dangerous it can be to mess with such powerful beings

And he’s not exactly good at walking the line between demanding respect and giving it when it comes to such people

Nopes right out of there immediately

He’s a smart man, he knows when to stay out of things

Cuts his losses, falls off the grid, probably gets a happier ending than anyone who tries to stay

Oh.

Yeah, he can see right away that this much power can’t be a good thing

Power leads to corruption; Asra has seen examples of this before

And he can’t stand the idea of it happening to someone he loves

And that’s just the problem; he loves you, so he can’t leave

He’s burdened by indecisiveness

In the end, he avoids making the decision altogether

He reasons that there’s no reason to act unless something horrible happens

But really, he’s just praying it never comes to that, since he won’t be able to make a decision even then

WANF - Julian's banished goat w specific attributes (devil bonded, touch averse, magic burnscars bc arcana tried to kill him, currently half goat)

THD - nadias banished goat, living like a feral animal instead of asking for help from the arcana (who would be more than willing to domesticate him)

and then some amalgamation of Regular Lucio wherever in the timeline I want to put him, mainly before death, including Plague Lucio

(all Plague Lucio fics are canon unless otherwise stated, except the very 1st probably)

i don't have a solid x MC route (or routes) for him yet bc arsenic is Julian's and I'm not sure if I want to incorporate his canon route anyway, so i guess Regular Lucio hangs around in heart hunters universe until I figure something out

most Nadia post upright fics can be attributed to THD goat (including the one w asra, excluding idle hands), but WANF has more of a fixed timeline n any other banished Julian's goats are separate (and possibly more actively being a problem)

I don't have a devil Lucio bc I haven't read Muriels route, portias probably falls under regular lucio if i read hers, asras goat gets rawed before his raw deal (not a separate entity, just chilling in that one fic)

Since you needed festive prompts, how about MC overhearing Nadia's Christmas wish (whatever it may be, you can decide of course) and decides to fulfill that no matter what it takes. I was thinking that Nadi's wish would be something that she considers is impossible but to us MC, they're gonna make that wish possible just for Nadi.

Red Stardust

Nadia casts an imposing yet lonely figure as she leans out of the palace veranda, watching her red realm shift against the thick fog that bathes her kingdom crimson. The Devil’s realm had mimicked the palace under her rule.

The familiarity of her home, albeit being a visage from her former life, brings her little to no comfort during days like these. Days where her loneliness dragged her shoulders down while the ‘what ifs’ threatens to drown out any semblance of comfort in the reasons that led them here.

These are the moments she misses her familiar the most. Misses the solace Chandra offers in her knowing gaze and soothing coos. Chandra had been her one constant before MC had come along.

Before she became the devil, the three of them frequently spent days and nights in each other’s company, lounging in her chambers or contemplation tower suspended in blissful tranquility. Her heart had felt so full then. Her memory paints those images with rose-tinted warmth, resulting in wistful sighs each time she finds the time to reminisce.

Nostalgia and romance had always had a nasty habit of dancing over the imprint of your footsteps in the ruins of the palace you left. So delicate but yet oh so potent. It is a painful reminder that her humanity still bleeds and aches for something that is permanently lost.

MC knows how Nadia’s heart aches for her familiar, taloned hands always reaching for a feathered beak scratch only to find nothing but air. Like a phantom limb whose absence always demanded to be felt even in your most lucid moments.

So MC sets out to do the impossible. Bringing Chandra to roost within the Devil’s realm would appease the storm of loneliness that plagues their Nadia. But bodies of the living were never meant to be granted permanence in any of the Arcana’s realm though MC would be damned if they didn’t at least try. It took some convincing for the High Priestess’ approval and a herculean effort and magic on MC’s part before Chandra was granted a safe passage to the Devil’s realm.

MC is anxiously waiting by the gates when they hear a sharp shriek followed by sharp talons gently perching on their shoulders.

“Hello, Chandra! How fares the prettiest bird in all the realms” excitement and adoration creates an irresistible pull on MC to scratch Chandra’s beak.

Chandra happily hoots as an answer and puffs her chest with pride at the compliment. She nibbles on MC’s ear as they make their way back into the Devil’s Palace. There’s a pep in MC’s step as they hurriedly make their way back to their lover.

“Nadia” MC half yells across the throne room, barely masking their giddiness to tell their lover the good news.

“Ah there you are, my dear. I was just about to-” Nadia stops in her tracks, rendered speechless by the sight of her old companion.

“Chandra?” she whispers, afraid to break the illusion.

Chandra’s sharp shriek breaks the trance that turned Nadia to stone. Nadia takes three long strides and scoops Chandra into her arms. There’s tears in her eyes as she reunites with her oldest friend, barely registering the rapid flickering of her ears in her overwhelming excitement.

“Just how” her question trails off as she gazes at MC with amazement and disbelief, tears staining her cheeks.

“It must be nearing Winter Solstice now… and I thought I’d give you something to celebrate the occasion” MC can feel their cheeks heating up, a red hue creeping up their neck.

“I know opening the gate is taking longer than expected and I’ve noticed it’s easier to bring something in than to get something out of your realm so I figured…” MC fingers trails up Chandra’s wings, scratching soothing patterns as the owl leans into their touch.

“I can bring Chandra to keep you company as I work on breaking the chains that hold us here” MC’s free hand caresses Nadia’s cheek as the devil mimics Chandra, spellbound to the touch of her lover.

“I won't fail you”

“You never have” Nadia’s lips are a breath away.

Asra and Lucio when Mc and portia decide to adopt the baby devil

(This is just a shitpost so I apologise in advance 😂)

- Is kinda confused as to why there is a cute lil devil in the shop but after some prying he realises why and just goes “what”

- They don’t like it as the devil is pretty evil but after realising that this smol baby can’t really hurt anyone he comes around and actually finds him cute in a weird demonic type of way

- Uses magic to mess with the devil and they will often have magic fights, Asra usually winning because they have more magic than the little baby

- Laughs along when you and portia are cooing at him and sometimes joins in to further piss the goat off

- Freaks out the second he sees the devil since hello this is the being that he dealt with and then made him do lots of things to pay back those debts

- Will either avoid the baby like the plague ( see what i did there) or will torment it to the ends of the earth of revenge for the devil being evil when big

- Gets mercedes and melchior to chase him around by sticking a fancy dog treat to him and then just sits back and watches the smol goat run away from his massive dogs
