Already we have some great progress on the fort, the lodgings are carved out, as is the inn and some workshops. This time around I knew what to expect from haunted regions, so I took chickens with our team instead of sheep.

As for the draft animals, I did find a small grassy patch on the side of the mountain to pen them up. Though we will inevitably butcher them if we cannot hit the cavern layer fast enough and get some cavern moss growing in the fort.

Oh, did I mention we hit gold?!

awww yeah the economic success of this fort is in the bag so long as I get the reservoir set up before a siege happens.

I will say it is fascinating how much screen time that spn puts into convincing everyone in and out of the show that Sam is this absolute freak of nature to the humans AND monsters when they absolutely never follow through on it. Boy king of hell? Never happened. Lucifer’s vessel? He’s that for like. 40 minutes. And it was never about him anyway just some vague thing about bloodlines. Return from hell? That’s just not even Sam look we can get his soul back. Season 7? Trauma baybeee. Season 8? That was just Gadreel camped in there. And so on and so on.

Even the demon blood. He gets some powers and releases Lucifer but that’s not so freaky in comparison to everything else the show’s got going on. It’s like the very project of the narrative wants to convince him and us of the freakishness but it is all utterly manufactured and never challenged. And everyone in the narrative is like yeah. Sounds about right.

Wild stuff about the power of the narrator etc etc, this is why Sam’s victory is escaping the story & the assigned role the narrative gives him just for the vibes

made a long post about my stance on The Shipping Discourse recently that got WAY more notes than i expected and i have of course had a few clowns in my notes in my askbox but honestly? everyone's been mostly chill about it and im really happy about it. like, of course its cool to see a lot of people who agree with me on stuff, but my favorite part is seeing notes and tags and asks and replies from people with opinions that don't match with my own. hell yeah baybeee we're having discussions about media thats what its all about!!!!!

Some explanations though:

--"Aesthetically it's GREAT" because they are polar opposites of each other personality wise, but they still manage to be phenomenal together!! To further give you a more illustrative idea of what exactly I mean, in the gfl Discord, we like to compare Josh to a golden retriever and Stef to a black cat. 🖤💛🐈‍⬛🐶

Also in terms of aesthetics, I love seeing Stef be super into clothes/fashion and then Josh is usually out there in hella casual team apparel most of the time 😅

So even though their aesthetics don't match, they don't have to, as they perfectly complement each other as they are!!!

In fact, them not matching while also perfectly complimenting each other is the aesthetic!!!!!!

--"I want to kiss them" simply because they are both cuties ☺️💓 Just a little peck is all I want!! They very much deserve to be majorly loved on, but they can hopefully do that for each other 🤩😉💞

--"They make me unwell", "relationship goals"...I always think about how they talk about each other to the press, especially when the other one isn't there!! They are always hyping each other up and aren't afraid to defend the other while also being so positive in general when speaking about each another!!

Also, Stef was quoted as saying that he wants to get Christmas pictures with Josh 🥺🥹🤧💚🎄📸

And another thing he said is that he can see himself growing old with Josh!!!

Both of these things are big reasons why these two squares apply to how I feel about them. 💙🩵

Meanwhile, here is what red ones mean:

1). "I really need this to be canon"--as "canon" as RPF can get, which to me means that they would actually come out together (and maybe even kiss!!), but of course I know that they don't owe us anything and that their own, private business is just that!!

At the same time, I do think that it would be cool and valid if they did ever decide to formally/officially announce their romantic partnership 🥰

2). "I like it in theory", "I'm open to it"--A lot of RPF is simply ✨theories✨ and ✨vibes✨ so even though Josh and Stef are super obvious all of the time with what they say about each other and also in regards to how they act when around one another, they are still just a theoretical ship overall.

That being said, most ships are theoretical, even the fictional ones that end up being canon fr FR, so yeah--I am (super!!) open to them and am definitely willing to continue to watch their relationship play out!!!

3). "I'd die for them"--because of the things that they say to one another and how they always act!!!!!!! They are so in love with each other that I'm like YEAH, but at the same time, my trifecta of Tom, Rob, and Julian will always be the ultimate "I will go DOWN with this ship" to me.

Delenn’s incredibly brave. Quite foolhardy, but brave.

I will not be surprised if I find out some of the writers for this show also wrote wildly successful horror/thrillers.

The Minbari are very serious about keeping that 24 hours forgotten. I’m intrigued by the implications. They clearly needed Sinclair for something, and that something was massively impactful for their war decisions. And they clearly value him for providing whatever it is they needed, since they wiped his memory and left him alive. But they also clearly don’t need him anymore, or he’s replaceable, since they’d rather have him die than have the knowledge of what happened. And I wonder who has the authority to boss Delenn around!

A few more pieces have fallen into place for Sinclair and for us. It’s well done of them to create real tension by having us know exactly as much as he does - namely, nothing.

Also, is Talia still a level 5 telepath? I’m excited to see more ramification of Jason Ironheart’s gift to her.
